First, I loved the rules video of era of tribes. Thanks for showing us this as well. Just a little suggestion. If you are making a timelaps, maybe you can put music in it, or make a voiceover. The sound of the timelapses (especialy the first one) where a pain to the ear.
I use 3rd party inserts for a number of my games. I used to only use the (Balsa) wooden types but recently found the foam core ones. I like the wooden ones for the way they feel and smell when you open the game (don’t judge me), but the price point for them can be a bit discouraging. Then I found the foam core ones, and while I like the way the wooden ones piece together better, my pocket book really likes the lower cost on the foam core ones.
i didn't even consider that there would be a price difference, for some bizarre reason... probably because i've never tried to purchase one! But with the foam core ones, isn't it way, way cheaper to... build one yourself? Even (gasp) based on someone else's foam core insert design?
@@NightsAroundaTable Oh... it probably would be cheaper... But then I’d have to find a place to buy the materials... then steal... I mean find the plans on the internet some place... then cut the materials to their specs (which is going to be a pain in the ass by hand)... No, I think I’ll spare myself the complexity and support a 3rd party insert company. At least until I get a 3D printer or something. Lol
@@NightsAroundaTable I took up 3D printing for the express purpose of printing organizers! They run between $5-$20 in materials (i.e., plastic, electricity and parts for your printer) and take between a few hours and a few days to print, but they ultimately work out a little cheaper than buying foamcore inserts and substantially cheaper than wood. And if you can't find exactly what you want, you can always design it yourself, which is a fun little side-hobby.

I turn the sound off it is only 1 - 2 seconds, but good idea to find a bit of something to go with it.
