Macaulay Rd, Kensington Railway Crossing

Found a chance to film another crossing. This one is on the Cragieburn line, it’s also in the top ten most dangerous in Melbourne but was not included in the removal list.
I also caught my first ever sprinter here, pretty lucky considering I was only there for 10 minutes.
Lights: Westinghouse and Alstom LEDs. One light one the west signal was also Alstom but the back was not the same as the signal on the eastern side, of this is a different type or something, let me know in the comments
Crossarms: McKenzie and Holland
Bell: Gs Type 1 (One of three crossings with them in Melbourne) The bells are dying and they sound really scratchy.
Gates: Safetran
Base: Didn’t catch it but probably McK&H

Melbourne Transport Productions near to impossible to do i think. It would probably need to be done like Buckley st. And I think it would involve demolishing loads of houses, appartments and shops.

@@lesgunzelling1430 Yeah and just after the crossing there is the grain train shed and a bunch of random cables and tracks everywhere
