Retrofitting refers to the addition of new technology or features to older systems. These days there are a lot of people who put a simple plug & play xenon kit in their halogen headlight housing in an attempt to improve night vision and looks of their vehicle. In fact they don’t realize that their headlight beams are often worse than before. Night vision achieves relatively little improvement on night vision because of a poor beam pattern, which increases the blinding of other road users. This is because their headlight housings are designed for halogen and not xenon.
A true Bi-Xenon projector update is now possible for your car. Such an upgrade will significantly improve your light output from 700-2100 lumens to 2800 and 3500 lumens, without blinding other traffic with glare from your headlight. Upgrade your headlight OEM style!

Hi, Awesome video! Quick question how long did you heat the headlight for and did you use max power on the heater?
Because it is sealed with butyl, it doesn't need to be heated very long/hot.
Our heatgun is used in, in the lowest setting / 300 Degrees Celsius (not max setting) for around 12-14 minutes.

Hi friends Retrofitlab!!! I love my Avensis II (2003) and I would llike to ask you, if you can do some thing like this and sell it to me?
Is the reflector made of a metal alloy? Aluminum maybe? I have a 55w xenon kit, could I use it with the Aharon kit? I know the original is 35w. Will the reflector withstand the power difference?

The projectors are made from lightweight aluminum. You can use 55w bulbs and ballasts but i would not recommend it..
Is it ok to use old glue again? What type of glue I should use if I want to put new One.

Hello, do you have any idea if the T25 facelift lights will fit the T25 non-facelifted car? I am struggling to find the older version of the lights anywhere... thanks!

T25 facelift lights have different electric plugs and front bumber must be facelift too. facelift light itself sits on its place with minor modification.

Hello I own an Avensis T25 with halogen lights, the projectors are burnt and light is very poor. I want to change them but maintaining halogen lights, do you have this option? Thanks
You could mount the projectors from the video, and with some adjustments you can install a H7 bulb in the D2S projector. Contact us if you want to place such a custom order.

It is made from lightweight alloy
Did you reuse old (burned)reflectors or replace too?
We replaced the complete projector with a completely new and better one. The reflector part for the original halogen high beam is not changed.
@@Retrofitlab What is the point of this HID conversion if ,clearly burned reflector is not changed? That reflector is already bad, and in few months it will be completely burned thus reducing light output by 50% if not more.
@@reljatThe reflector that is left is the high beam reflector. This reflector is not used so much and therefore still in good condition. The low beam reflector has been removed and replaced by a brand new projector. The new projector will not wear about a in few months this will stay good for many years to come.
Can you do an upgrade in a clio 2 phase 1 (1999-2001)?

Avensis 2.4 T25 has too many problems. Xenon is one of them. I had a Hiace van in Australia which was bulletproof, an Auris and an Avensis in Europe, the latter two were both gussling oil. Next vehicle will be a Honda.
Yes, the Avensis is known for it's bad light. But luckily quite easy and affordable to fix with this kit. Hopefully Honda will suit you better :-)
