I started watching your videos, along with Formbx257 around March of this year. Both channels really got me interested in Gi Joe again, and by May of this year I had pulled what remained of my childhood collection (figures, vehicles, accessories and filecards) out of my mom's shed. I cleaned all of the vehicles out in a big plastic tub filled with hot water & soap. I sorted every accessory out from all of my other childhood toys and their accessories (that was not as hard as i thought it would be, but after a few searches i believe i found everything that was left from my childhood). I fixed every Joe I had as best as I could (o-rings, screws, etc.) and I tossed all of the broken parts. 30 plus years in a shed in the North Carolina heat, even stored in a box inside a foot locker, put some hell on that plastic. I then put everything together that went together. And from there I started collecting as an adult and my collection has doubled what 8 had as a child. It's a great hobby to have, and i have even began collecting the Marvel era GI Joe comics (ARAH, Special Missions, Yearbook, Order of Battle). I say all of this because you and Formbx257 got me back into this plastic crack in a major way. Thanks for that, and I will be getting this book down the line.
I've checked out the 1st and 2nd editions from my local library many times over the years, but when I finally decided to buy my own prices had soared. So when this 3rd edition went up for pre-order this Spring I pounced on it. For anyone on the fence I really can't recommend this enough. Not only is it a handy resource, you'll discover literally dozens of Joes you didn't know existed or know you wanted.
I stopped collecting G.I. Joe but this book would be so great for fans old or new. It could help me with the history of G.I. Joe. Then again your channel has helped me with that too.
I just got this, and having missed the 2nd edition, I am struck by how much of an upgrade it is from the first edition. This is a terrific book, and I'm especially enjoying the art of early versions of figures - in fact I'd happily buy a book that just includes that sort of thing. I am REALLY missing an index though. I'm sure there was some reason it wasn't included - maybe as simple as getting the book to print in time, but its absence is very sorely felt.

That's a sweet book I wouldn't mind having. Mark Bellomo would be wise to heed your opinion HCC788! Obviously bein' a cool GI Joe guy himself I think he will! I was pleased to see you owned a Star Wars guide too! When you wrap up GI Joe perhaps you could head that direction, hmmmm..?
Now that is what I've been looking for! I've been wanting something that shows prices, for insurance purposes. I understand the fluidity of prices, that's a main topic on my RUclips channel.
Great review. I'm 95% sure that I got The Fridge in 86 & was confused when the figure had been labeled a 1987 series by some folks. No worries though. 👍👍

Hi, do you know when they are goint to reprint 3. Edition or release 4. Edition? 3. Edition is out of print and price on second hand market is way over 100$.
I haven’t bought it yet but I’m sure it will be better than the second edition although I do think the second edition had a better cover this may sound lame but I don’t like how they took off Duke and Cobra commander this time other than that I do want this in my collection
Are there any GI Joe books that have the comic graphics of the characters like the ones on the file card or the cartoon images? It’s cool however that it shows the action figure
