Sams the gate keeper of this channel. My man
Hahhaa thanks homie
We cook salmon with mayo as well but we dnt use that small amount. We cut em up vertically about 1.5" in width and throw in a bag/bowl and completely soak in mayo, pretty much marinade em. Add salt and black pepper too and let them marinate 12-24hrs then bake/broil straight out of the marinate in oven, keep skin on and it gets crispy and it's mmmmmm so good
Sounds good! We will have to give it a try
Awesome day of fishing guys let's go!!!💯🔥🔥
Thanks!
Show more of lyndsey catching and cooking 💜💜💜
Jon the real MVP of this video 👍👍👍👍👍
Lil oil, butter and garlic, season fish with a butter dill sauce. Brown the garlic then add fish and brown and baste with the butter
Killer day slayin them boyz & girl 🤙! I just would like to see more different meals cooked w/the salmon…salmon eggs Benedict, salmon burgers, salmon sushi, etc…Let’s go🤙!
Slayman slayed it! Make salmon burnt ends!
Oooo say less
Looking forward to seeing u guys at the Russian River in a few. Bring your bear spray and if the bear wants ur fish…give it up.
Yessir hope to see you there! Stay safe
Go find some places for locals only before the summer crowds arrive. Go get weird. Good vids folks!
Thanks!
If you guys are targeting grayling. Maybe head towards symphony lake and hike around to fish there or around the turnagain arm. Im not sure if theyre grayling around kenai peninsula
There’s a few spots here but we’ve unfortunately haven’t gotten them! Sum tiny lake is a hike of a walk!
Sick vid !! Great job Linz
Thanks!
Aye congrats boiis and girls!!! Redemption at its finest 💯🤟🏽 if y'all ever plan on coming to wasilla that's where I stay! I'd be down to take y'all around to a few of my spots!! But I'm ready for the Russian and for them silvers to show up I got a couple spots for them too lemme know beauties 🤟🏽🤟🏽

You should drive down to Palmer AK sometime during mid June and the lab with me to go king salmon fishing
Keep grinding guys good luck. Sam is on fire Keep the videos coming
Appreciate it!!!
Great job. Eat good. Lindsey was on fire. Cant wait for more
You should go spear fishing for pike. Or go and find a nice clear lake in the mountains and fish for rainbows.
Say less!
I like how Jon eats like he hasn’t eaten in weeks
I want to see a video where you keep a King out of the Kenai! Lol
Lmao
Some other things that would be cool for you guys to video - exploring a gold rush ghost town, Alaskan grizzle’s, beach combing.
Sounds good! Will keep all of those in mind!
Man that salmon 🥣!!!!!
Fantastic video. Nice fish. Cheers.
A couple day trip to snag some Char and or a gold panning adventure
Holy Crap! If I were near that place I would be there every chance I got! EPIC video! So happy for Lindsey! Way cool!
Aye thanks! Definitely a beautiful place!
@@MinnDakOutdoors there is a small window of the snagging season there these guys hit it just right
That's a great day of fishing.. Gotta get yourself a vacuum sealer to preserve that salmon for awhile.
It’s like shooting Canada goose. Remember that one episode 94 of them.
Hell yah 1st cast bro 😎 nice.
that bowl looks fire gonna give it a try
Awesome video guys, I was born and raised in AK. I loved June for the Seward snagging, May is for kings, June is for snags, July is for kenai reds and august is for the silvers (hit 20 mile river right outside of girdwood if u got a boat or a buddy with a boat) 🎣I’m heading home in July to fill the freezer 🤙🏽 cheers bros
Heck yeah! Maybe we will see you out here!
Will be on the Kenai next month. Nothing better than the Kenai red run
@@Jwilson1202 my favorite kind of fishing man
Congratulations Lindsay! Great job you all! That scenery, those mountains though, amazing
Thanks!
I use to work in alaska an we use to make a Salmon salad . With egg,red onion, jalapeno, salt pepper to taste and mayonnaise it's pretty awesome especially if you get a king . But reds are awesome with it too with a little smoke
Hell yeah jon had some earlier today!
Loved seeing everyone having fun!
Awesome video, I’ll be up there taking salmon this weekend also 👍👍
The bend in those rods is insane this is definitely on my bucket list
Hell yeah!
What kind of pole do u have..
Salmon burrito, salmon salad, salmon burgers and salmon sandwich lol. Sorry 3rd post. Hey watch out for bears , if there starving there eating u
Couple yrs back a tourist newlyweds went hiking they came across a brown bear , he distracted the bear while his wife ran down the hill to get reception. When they went looking for him they found a trail of blood leading to his upper torso but lower half gone and no head arms were eaten, they later found the head and eventually the bear. The killed it did a digestive tract dna for the guy , it was the bear.
Such an epic fishing trip I would love to be there with you guys 😊
It’d be awesome if we see you out here
You should go fishing on the Air Force base in anchorage if you ever take that trek.
I would like to see you guys do some foraging for wild mushrooms an veggies to add to one of your catch and cooks while up there in Alaska!
Oooo idk if we’re skilled at identifying that kind of stuff😂 Sam might end up eating the wrong berry or shroom
@@MinnDakOutdoors That's a risk we may be willing to take..

😂😂😂
Awesome video! The catch and cook is the best
You should Fish for grayling on the Denali highway
Put a Artic Grayling minnow on a jighead for salmon and pike
Bet!
You guys should do a collab with Deermeat for dinner. He is also in Alaska
Lindsey was feeling violent this day! love it!
Hahaha
Camping in the woods catch and cook
This video was dopeeee
I’ll wave at you guys as I fly by I’m headed to Bristol bay to commercialy fish for reds
Hell yeah!
Man, I was just in Soldotna for a Baseball double header we had there, after the games we went fishing on the Ninilchik, but we didnt catch anything.
Amazing morning of fishing awesome video definitely keep them coming. 👍
Excited to see you guys up in AK !
It would be awesome to see some
King fishing , Russian river flossing , and Coho bobber downs! Hope you guys are loving Ak!
I was out there getting it done the last 2 days. Limited in 40 minutes!
They did not open up the netting season on the river I was at until the 3rd week of June so I can feel your pain.
I was able to catch Dolly Varden trout like crazy using salmon Pixee Spoons while I was waiting.
The sockeye wouldn't hit any lures once they were in spawning mode so I only caught maybe three all summer fishing every saturday afternoon and sundays.
Whenever my spoon would hit the bottom I had a chance at catching a sculpin which had huge spines.
Oh heck yeah! Good job!
Yo you should go to sd and do walleye catching!
Great video looked delicious and thanks 👍
That salmon looked so dang good
After leaving Alaska we got transferred 1962 to Monterey California where you could take a party boat that would go just outside the harbor and you could fill up gunny sacks full of rockfish. Now days gone it’s a biological desert there. If you want to catch rock fish you have to take an hour and a half boat ride to Big Sur and hope to catch one. Such are the times
Great video! I shared with friends. Keep them coming. Great education for us newbies.
🤟🏻
You should do something with deer meat for dinner while he’s in Alaska
you train her to filet them fish too cause they all learn up there to filet fish
Y’all need to go to centennial park in soldatna. Guaranteed salmon 👍🏽
Just got back from Seward and slayed em so glad y'all are in alaska experiencing its beauty
Maybe kayak or raft down a river with some camping and fishing involved. Or some deep sea fishing! Love the videos fyi!!
Great video guys. Makes me wanna go fishing. You should try to hook up with eis Alaska they have you tube also they do crabbing and long line maybe you guys can go out on there boat and do some fishing
Good Vid Johnny!!!
Dude you have the best goatee in the history of hmong people
Hhahahhahahaha
We wanna see more Alaska not just fishing please gang
We gotcha
Sweet video loving these Alaska videos I want to see you guys catch some graylings that would be sick
Ayyye big bet
Straight gas!!!
Ayyye thanks!
@@MinnDakOutdoors excited to get you on my boat F/V Sea Alice down in Homer!
Gettin pumped up 2023
Let’s go surf fish halibut tomorrow
Nice job 👍. Do you guys have a boat up there ? Tides are good for halibut in June
that view is astonishing
Good job all. A lot of Alaskans believe that ripping the gills and bleeding the salmon on the stringer is the way to go. The belief is the meat will taste better.
Bleeding them is definitely the move!
It's amazing salmon goes for like 30$ a filet in hawaii. And u guys hooking um like butter. Makes me j.. do the salmon mayo wit furi recipe I sent u guys jus dump the furi all over make sure it's coated
As I remember a few years ago foul hooking (snagging) reds used to be illegal in AK. It's got to be super tough pulling them fighting reds in sideways.
Thee salmon will take a number of lures at this stage. A fly rod and bright colored fly would seem the most fun way to fill the freezer
you have nets this time 😊....your tiny wooden trout kinda weak!!! 😂🤣😭
Hahahhaa
@@MinnDakOutdoors 😝
Lindsay is the Alaskan Fishing Queen. You noob-dudes need to step up your game....lol j/k . What a beautiful morning
That looks crazy good job 👍
This was damn awesome!
Sweet video man. Don't you dare skip a day of content!
Thanks and we won’t try!
@@MinnDakOutdoors no no no no no. You WILL make a video for us every day! You need to share the experience because I will probably never be able to go to Alaska and i need to see as much as possible! 🤘
@@mitchjodway194 Same here!!!
Halibut fishing would be cool
Bet!
Are you going to fish the Kenai? I hope so and also hope to see you fish the kasilov and see you catch a grayling! Good luck? Oh a 60 plus lbs. King, nothing smaller!!!!!!
Just fished it for reds today!
In Alaska I heard the salmon have been reduced in population. Back in 1960 to 62 Kodiak the salmon the humpies were so massive that they would pile up on top of each other trying to enter the rivers at the mouth. Lots of silvers and sockeyes I mean the wildlife was just wild literally. I was 12 and 13 years old.
Check if theres any hunting opened right now
AYO BOYO
Ayoooo Daddy tantrum
Great videos! Keep it coming!
I wish I knew these guys IRL, I looove seafood and i cooked Alaskan sockeye tonight and wanted a video with my dinner! Mine was fresh and tasty, the same as these guys describe "beautiful".
As someone who knows nothing about fishing I'd like to know what you use for bait, how strong you need to be to handle it pulling. The main dude was just wrangling them and I was laughing when he's like "the last one..." so out of breath!
I'm totally astonished to see 3 people catch 18 fish in one hour, I really thought the video would be a long wait but nuts how after what seemed like 1 cast and the line was just pulling! I would also love an educational video on how they scale and fillet them. And to see the red raw insides. I don't get to eat enough seafood here in Alberta and sometimes have to supplement with the pills but I prefer the real deal. I love it so much I only cook them in olive oil and sometimes sprinkle dill and then add a thin layer of water to the bottom of the pan because I like it soft and moist. Then plate & salad.
Totally enjoyed this video, makes me want to learn to fish! Appreciate the effort! 💪
Clinic 👍👍👍😊
Talk about a video, ole Deer Meat for Dinner I’d in Seward for the summer and the plug of a lifetime
I WAS THERE A DAY BEFORE YOU
How’d y’all do?!
@@MinnDakOutdoors we also limited in about 2 hours. the run is really good right now.
Time and place for a fan meet and greet! Haha
My arm would of been tired also, if I was there snagging with ya. ❤️ from Saint Paul, MN
Yooooo deer meat for dinner is in the same spot as u make a colab brosss litt
good job guys! Awesome salmon!
i just got it in a straight tortilla brother. 😑 dude i know that’s just weird... Sam goes to the back looks at his food wondering if it looks weird... 😂🤣🤣lmao you guys are a trip! love the videos!
The fishing is awesome, so stoked you guys are up there making content. But honestly if you're up there making content, make some hiking videos, scenic b-roll, fly a drone, camping, whatever content you want. It doesn't just have to be fishing content, any Alaska content is good! Lol
Don't stock up on those Seward reds too much. Once the kenai reds come in they taste much better!
So jealous guys! That is so awesome everybody killed them! Great job and GO Lindsay! John and Sam keep up the phenomenal videos guys!
Thanks!
