One of the Best Dodges ever made. This commercial features Nicole Jaffe actress. She is better known as the voice of Velma in the cartoon series, "Scooby Doo"
You know, when I uploaded this, I knew I recognized her....but couldn't figure where. I had just watched about a month ago, a documentary on the Cartoon and saw her interview....of course! You're correct....I'll update the comments and tags to reflect this.
With the outrageous cost of weddings, if Dad had a "live one" who at least had gainful enough employment to afford a new car, he would've been wise to carry his daughter down the ladder himself and then lock the door to the house before they tried to get back in!
When the guys in the street started making too much noise, the guy on the ladder should have sung "You Are My Sunshine" to Nicole Jaffe. If he had done that, her father wouldn't have caused him to fall off the ladder- he just would have told the guy on the ladder to go home.
It's 1970, not 71. I have a 69 Swinger. Too bad they went to a 318 in '70, because mine has the 340. I hope to do a video or two of it in the next couple of months, subscribe to me to get notified when I upload.
The blonde bride-to-be up in the window is Nicole Jaffe, better known for her voice which she used to play "Velma" on "Scooby-Doo" in the early 1970s.

@@OsbornTramain Could you please share the link of the documentary you mentioned?

nice to see a face behind the voice.
Velma selling cars and so did He-Man in another old car ad
Had a '70 with the slant six. Car ran forever

Jinkies indeed !! 😁
the funniest moment : when Ursula ( the girl )’s dad punched the guy away
Could've climbed down and tell the guy they have to keep it down
I think everything was a V-8 then, even the Mystery Machine. too bad ole Freddie always had it stuck in first gear in the 1969.
Nah it just had a 170
Base was a straight six for many cars. Sixes cranks are naturally balanced unlike a four banger.
