I’m about the same age as Jamie and grew up a few counties away in Tennessee. A girl from his school transferred to ours in 8th grade. She was always talking about how funny and crazy Jamie was. This was in 1986 and a few years before Jamie had ever appeared on TV. Of course Bill Dundee was a HUGE star in our area at the time, so her knowing his kid was a big deal. It was cool when Jamie started showing up on TV a few years later and was just as funny and crazy as she had described. Glad to see him doing well now.
