I've had multiple miscarriages. Only one was far enough along to have something to bury. The fact that they've told THREE different versions of the miscarriage story plus the details you've pointed out makes me doubt seriously that it ever happened. Which offends me deeply that they are pretending to have the same grief our family has suffered more than once. If I didn't like these 2 already, this lie would have turned my opinion for sure. I'm a military wife as well, so their cemetery stunt didn't help. And the narrative that stress causes miscarriages is completely false. Studies have shown no relation between stress levels and miscarriage occurrence, and Harry claiming otherwise just puts blame on the woman for being too stressed and should somehow be able to prevent it. I went into that guilt tailspin after my first loss. These two are just the worst.

She was being prosecuted for assault after allegedly hitting him with a table lamp. Her life unravelled very quickly. It was terribly sad but had precisely nothing to do with Harry.
Absolutely, she had a good relationship with the press so it was only in the last months of her life after being charged that she had problems. I've struggled with suicides around me so no-one wants it but the twisted way that everyone switched the story for Caroline was because she was liked by the public and a woman accused of assault. If it had been the other way and a man, they would not have had any sympathy. If Prince Andrew (and still not charged with anything) took his own life, the same people would behave the opposite way to Caroline. It opened my eyes to how hypocritical so many people are

According to Google, it is illegal in California to bury a body in your yard, punishable with a 10k fine and a misdemeanor charge. I call BS on that whole story about burying her baby on their property. Like how many weeks was she? If the fetus was born with a heart beat and any semblance of having taken a breath, then there has to be a Certificate of Death issued. Even in an extremely preterm infant, the hospital just doesn’t release a fetus to the parents. The whole story is fishy!

In this chapter, Harry unintentionally shows just how loyal and caring and protective William really is. He’s done everything he could to save Harry from his addictions, self-destructive tendencies, and the way Meghan has victimized Harry. But Harry is too lost to listen. The section in which "being cut off by Pa" is described is just bizarre. No one forced Harry out of the RF; no one forced him to leave the UK either. Of their own accord, he and his wife decided to go. Despite the numerous and changing reasons they've given over time, one of the initial ones was to be financially independent. So they devised a plan to go, made all the decisions unilaterally and then made the announcement, taking even the RF by surprise. During the Sandringham Summit, Harry was apparently asked to wait and to work with advisors to find the best path forward, but no, even though he knew the terms and conditions, he still got back on that plane and left. Every decision and choice made from the moment they decided to leave until now has been Harry and Meghan's. So why do they keep blaming everyone else for the way those decisions and choices have worked out?

It is public money and yearly accounts have to be published for public scrutiny. Harry must have known where this money came from and that it could not possibly continue after they left.

There is definitely a theme here of Harry only ever seeing the negative. Arthur Edwards is a press photographer who has been taking photos of William and Harry since the day they were born. He's been with Harry on tours and, before he met MM, was incredibly fond of him. He has said that Harry seems only to remember negative press and completely forgets the brilliant coverage he had been given for things like Sentebale, Invictus, tours, visits and other events. When the engagement was announced, Harry forgets how the press practically gushed over MM. Some journalists have said that they knew some less-than-flattering things about her which they could have published, but they saw that Harry was happy and didn't want to rain on his parade. As for Charles's ability to control the press and tell them what to write, if he could do that why did he not intervene when he was getting bad press, or - more pertinently - when Camilla was going through the mill? Heaven knows, Charles has probably had more negative press than the rest put together.

Women in labor are not allowed to eat due to the possibility of aspirating food in an emergency. Also, it takes appr 12 hours for an epidural to wear off so there was no way they left the hospital 2 hours after birth. So I guess TW ate to her hearts content while the surrogate was in labor and since it was the surrogate that had the epidural, it was ok for them to leave within 2 hours. To another issue, I don't think that Harold wrote this book. The vocabulary, nuances, and word phrasing are way above his level of intelligence. Either TW wrote it, she is smart enough to use and/or misuse a thesaurus, or the ghost writer was able to rephrase Harold's baby talk.

You really don't have to tip toe over Megs miscarriage ? There are at least three different versions of the miscarriage. Megs and Harold make it very, very difficult to believe. Megs was so early on in her pregnancy ? That there wouldn't have been anything more than bleeding. There is nothing to collect or bring home. Not to mention, the hospital could not legally let you walk out with any form of tissue, let alone a fetus. Your handling is far better than I would have reviewing this crazy book.
Exactly correct Just me - I stated the same thing in my post. Plus, I’m one of the women who should know - I’ve had 3 miscarriage two early on & they just give you a D & C then the last at 19 weeks BUT in Australia, you can’t have a funeral for a 19 week it has to be from 20 weeks on, which is heartbreaking in itself ! So I am disgusted in these two using miscarriage & telling 3 different stories to get people on their side & feel sorry for them

What Harry is not saying regarding the laying of the wreath is that members of the Royal family don't do it on their own behalf. They do it as representatives of the Crown for each branch of the military. Therefore "HE" disqualified himself for the honor.

One of the questions that needs to be asked about the miscarriage (or 'mythcarriage' as some call it), is how Harry got into that hospital in the first place. The incident occurred during a Covid lockdown and from what I've read, the rules in California were much the same as those here in the UK: visitors were not allowed into hospitals. No matter how seriously ill their loved ones were; no matter if there was a risk of them dying alone, the rule applied. Either the hospital they went to gave Harry special treatment, disregarding both the health and safety of its patients and - should Harry catch the virus while in the hospital - anyone he came into contact with thereafter (which would include his 2yr old son), or the dramatic weeping-in-each-others- arms part of the story just isn't true.

Yesterday I watched a video of H going into the court. He had SIX body guards with him. And he looked so smug and arrogant. It was disgusting. Here we have what he thinks is a most important big handsome Prince. He did not need to be at court. He actually, some say deliberately, almost ran over a journalist. Some have commented that he thought he would be upstaging the King who was scheduled to be in France. But, the trip to France was canceled. The glee on his face was disgusting.

Yes, you're right. He had IPP and Met Police security. The IPP status was terminated because it's an international agreement that provides security to heads of state, PM's, presidents, ambassadors, foreign ministers etc when they are abroad. Under the agreement, it is the country they are visiting that provides and pays for the security. As a working royal H was representing the British head of state (ie. the Queen) and when he stopped doing that, he lost the IPP. I suspect this is why the couple wanted to be half-in and half-out - they thought that in doing so, they'd retain their IPP. While in the UK, he also had Met Police protection (Royal Protection Officers) but these are taxpayer funded. The British taxpayer cannot be expected to fund two members of the RF who no longer work for the country, live in the country and whose stated reason for leaving included the desire to become financially independent. It would also be somewhere between impractical and impossible: impractical because to protect Harry, RPO's would have to be on a rota, flying out to LA for a set period of time and throwing their own personal lives into disarray. Impossible because there isn't a massive pool of these specially trained individuals. The working royals can't lose their own RPO's just so Harry feels secure. Anyhow - as all taxes are government business and nothing to do with the RF, it was the government who pulled the RPO's. That's why the judicial review H is seeking is from the Home Office and not the RF.

Thank you for reading this book so we didn't have to! I can honestly say that I came away from this experience thinking worse of Harry than I had before. He is someone without his own personal identity and instead of figuring out who he is, he parrots the person he is closest to at that moment. He is a narcissistic, self absorbed, bully content to be the perpetual victim, something he learned from his wife. He'd rather play the victim than grow up and be a real man. He had millions of dollars in the bank when they left England, money left to him by his mother and his great grandmother. If they really wanted to be safe and have privacy, there are a million better places to live than Southern California. I live in Houston, and the same size and style of house they bought in California, would go for half of that in Houston, not that we want them here. Instead Harry was content to allow another man provide for his family while his money stayed in the bank, only taking responsibility himself, when no other option was available. I will say that I did walk away from this experience with a greater respect for King Charles, and an overwhelming amount of respect and pride in the man Prince William has become. He has become everything his mother said she wanted him to be, and to Harry, if she were still alive, I think she'd say "Sit down Harry and Shush" like she did when he was a child.
We live in California. When my Daughter had a miscarriage & went to the hospital, they gave her a pill to start labor & sent her home to pass the twins! How nice it would have been if she was able to go through this devastating process in the hospital. Entitlement with these two is very hard to watch!! ~ Michelle, CA

I learned there are always several sides to a story, Princess Diana wasn't perfect, and Prince Charles, Camilla, the Royal Family were weren't these storybook villains from some fairytale. It is extremely irritating to see these fully grown adults still buy into that BS. I'm not even disparaging Diana. Realizing she was as complicated and flawed as the rest of us only made me respect her more for her humanity. Rather than putting her on a pedestal, she came back down to earth for me, and put her on an even keel with the rest of the Royals. Some people say that defenders of the Royal Family believe they're perfect. I disagree. I believe that it's their humanity that causes me defend them. They are ready set to a higher standard because they are Royals. I can't imagine the pressure they must be under to live up to those standard as best they can. It's not those of us who support them that treat them as if they're super human beings It's the detractors who can't seem to accept they're only human like the rest of us, in my own personal opinion. During the Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph in London, the wreaths are not personal tokens, but representative of a branch of the services, governments both foreign and domestic etc. The King and other Members of the Royal Family join political leaders, current and ex-members of the Armed Forces and World War veterans at the foot of the Cenotaph memorial. Harry should have known this and his request was rightly denied as he no longer represented any branch of the armed services. It would have been a personal token and that was not what the Remembrance Day Service is about. The man child really does need to bone up on British history. SMH
You have to wonder how Harry thought the government would pay for security when they weren't living in England. Why didn't consider what was best for their child? So the rumors of Harold being treated drastically different than any other member of the military are absolutely true. ALL members of the military have to learn how to be at least semi independent. His time in there should have taught him to carry necessities like house keys and some spending money. Is he saying when living with his brother while they were training he had to rely on someone else to carry a key to their home and to buy his food and toilet paper rather than using that as an opportunity to learn how to take care of himself?

The complete and utter nonsense he cobbled from Harry's, most likely, bits of notes of incoherent yammering is not an accomplishment that he should be proud of. Nor the editor. All those poor people who bought the book with hopes of some coherent stories and understanding why he left his family was probably such a tragic disappointment of being conned out of time and money. This is definitely a book that should be shared in a book club. There is just too much crazy to sit alone with it and not be able to verbally express your frustrations of it to others who would agree.

Thank you for this episode. I have come to realize, after scratching my head over how Harry could be so far off the mark than William in Adulthood. William sought out his Grandparents. He spent genuine time with them learning from their experiences whereas Harry was too busy enjoying his priviledged life and enjoyed being the clown, entertaining his grandparents, making them laugh when there were events going on- A Superficial relationship. They existed only to fund him and to make him happy. No give n take, just gimme gimme gimme. William respects who his family is, and the vast knowledge he could learn and benefit from, to make his family proud when the time came that he would be King. As he grew, his actions showed his gratitude and loyalty. Harry never grasped the concept of working at building relationships because just like everything else, he never had to earn a thing. Sadly, either they procrastinated too long to intervene or no one recognized that Harry was stuck at age 12. 😢

I've had multiple miscarriages. Only one was far enough along to have something to bury. The fact that they've told THREE different versions of the miscarriage story plus the details you've pointed out makes me doubt seriously that it ever happened. Which offends me deeply that they are pretending to have the same grief our family has suffered more than once. If I didn't like these 2 already, this lie would have turned my opinion for sure. I'm a military wife as well, so their cemetery stunt didn't help.
And the narrative that stress causes miscarriages is completely false. Studies have shown no relation between stress levels and miscarriage occurrence, and Harry claiming otherwise just puts blame on the woman for being too stressed and should somehow be able to prevent it. I went into that guilt tailspin after my first loss. These two are just the worst.

She was being prosecuted for assault after allegedly hitting him with a table lamp. Her life unravelled very quickly. It was terribly sad but had precisely nothing to do with Harry.

Absolutely, she had a good relationship with the press so it was only in the last months of her life after being charged that she had problems. I've struggled with suicides around me so no-one wants it but the twisted way that everyone switched the story for Caroline was because she was liked by the public and a woman accused of assault. If it had been the other way and a man, they would not have had any sympathy.

The section in which "being cut off by Pa" is described is just bizarre. No one forced Harry out of the RF; no one forced him to leave the UK either. Of their own accord, he and his wife decided to go. Despite the numerous and changing reasons they've given over time, one of the initial ones was to be financially independent. So they devised a plan to go, made all the decisions unilaterally and then made the announcement, taking even the RF by surprise. During the Sandringham Summit, Harry was apparently asked to wait and to work with advisors to find the best path forward, but no, even though he knew the terms and conditions, he still got back on that plane and left. Every decision and choice made from the moment they decided to leave until now has been Harry and Meghan's. So why do they keep blaming everyone else for the way those decisions and choices have worked out?

There is definitely a theme here of Harry only ever seeing the negative. Arthur Edwards is a press photographer who has been taking photos of William and Harry since the day they were born. He's been with Harry on tours and, before he met MM, was incredibly fond of him. He has said that Harry seems only to remember negative press and completely forgets the brilliant coverage he had been given for things like Sentebale, Invictus, tours, visits and other events. When the engagement was announced, Harry forgets how the press practically gushed over MM. Some journalists have said that they knew some less-than-flattering things about her which they could have published, but they saw that Harry was happy and didn't want to rain on his parade.
As for Charles's ability to control the press and tell them what to write, if he could do that why did he not intervene when he was getting bad press, or - more pertinently - when Camilla was going through the mill? Heaven knows, Charles has probably had more negative press than the rest put together.

Women in labor are not allowed to eat due to the possibility of aspirating food in an emergency. Also, it takes appr 12 hours for an epidural to wear off so there was no way they left the hospital 2 hours after birth. So I guess TW ate to her hearts content while the surrogate was in labor and since it was the surrogate that had the epidural, it was ok for them to leave within 2 hours. To another issue, I don't think that Harold wrote this book. The vocabulary, nuances, and word phrasing are way above his level of intelligence. Either TW wrote it, she is smart enough to use and/or misuse a thesaurus, or the ghost writer was able to rephrase Harold's baby talk.

You really don't have to tip toe over Megs miscarriage ? There are at least three different versions of the miscarriage. Megs and Harold make it very, very difficult to believe. Megs was so early on in her pregnancy ? That there wouldn't have been anything more than bleeding. There is nothing to collect or bring home. Plus, I’m one of the women who should know - I’ve had 3 miscarriage two early on & they just give you a D & C then the last at 19 weeks BUT in Australia, you can’t have a funeral for a 19 week it has to be from 20 weeks on, which is heartbreaking in itself ! So I am disgusted in these two using miscarriage & telling 3 different stories to get people on their side & feel sorry for them

What Harry is not saying regarding the laying of the wreath is that members of the Royal family don't do it on their own behalf. They do it as representatives of the Crown for each branch of the military. Therefore "HE" disqualified himself for the honor.

It was definitely one of the most disgusting things he has done yet. One of the things that makes me the angriest about this pair is him trying to weasel his way in with US servicemen and women - it is infuriating that he thinks it’s okay to use them for his PR boost. Makes my blood boil.
One of the questions that needs to be asked about the miscarriage (or 'mythcarriage' as some call it), is how Harry got into that hospital in the first place. The incident occurred during a Covid lockdown and from what I've read, the rules in California were much the same as those here in the UK: visitors were not allowed into hospitals. No matter how seriously ill their loved ones were; no matter if there was a risk of them dying alone, the rule applied.
Either the hospital they went to gave Harry special treatment, disregarding both the health and safety of its patients and - should Harry catch the virus while in the hospital - anyone he came into contact with thereafter (which would include his 2yr old son), or the dramatic weeping-in-each-others- arms part of the story just isn't true.
Meg has told so many stories about this . First she’s in the nursery and she dramatically says ; As I held my first born I knew I was losing my second . Story number two : Her friend arrives as Meg waits for her in the driveway and she falls to the ground in pain . Story 3 Harry is there and there’s so much blood . Which is it ? Pick one !!

Yes, you're right. He had IPP and Met Police security. The IPP status was terminated because it's an international agreement that provides security to heads of state, PM's, presidents, ambassadors, foreign ministers etc when they are abroad. Under the agreement, it is the country they are visiting that provides and pays for the security. As a working royal H was representing the British head of state (ie. the Queen) and when he stopped doing that, he lost the IPP. I suspect this is why the couple wanted to be half-in and half-out - they thought that in doing so, they'd retain their IPP.
While in the UK, he also had Met Police protection (Royal Protection Officers) but these are taxpayer funded. The British taxpayer cannot be expected to fund two members of the RF who no longer work for the country, live in the country and whose stated reason for leaving included the desire to become financially independent. Thank you for reading this book so we didn't have to! I can honestly say that I came away from this experience thinking worse of Harry than I had before. He is someone without his own personal identity and instead of figuring out who he is, he parrots the person he is closest to at that moment. He is a narcissistic, self absorbed, bully content to be the perpetual victim, something he learned from his wife. He'd rather play the victim than grow up and be a real man. He had millions of dollars in the bank when they left England, money left to him by his mother and his great grandmother. If they really wanted to be safe and have privacy, there are a million better places to live than Southern California. I live in Houston, and the same size and style of house they bought in California, would go for half of that in Houston, not that we want them here. Instead Harry was content to allow another man provide for his family while his money stayed in the bank, only taking responsibility himself, when no other option was available. I will say that I did walk away from this experience with a greater respect for King Charles, and an overwhelming amount of respect and pride in the man Prince William has become. He has become everything his mother said she wanted him to be, and to Harry, if she were still alive, I think she'd say "Sit down Harry and Shush" like she did when he was a child.

We live in California. When my Daughter had a miscarriage & went to the hospital, they gave her a pill to start labor & sent her home to pass the twins! How nice it would have been if she was able to go through this devastating process in the hospital. Entitlement with these two is very hard to watch!!

I learned there are always several sides to a story, Princess Diana wasn't perfect, and Prince Charles, Camilla, the Royal Family were weren't these storybook villains from some fairytale. It is extremely irritating to see these fully grown adults still buy into that BS. I'm not even disparaging Diana. Realizing she was as complicated and flawed as the rest of us only made me respect her more for her humanity. Rather than putting her on a pedestal, she came back down to earth for me, and put her on an even keel with the rest of the Royals. Some people say that defenders of the Royal Family believe they're perfect. I disagree. I believe that it's their humanity that causes me defend them. They are ready set to a higher standard because they are Royals. I can't imagine the pressure they must be under to live up to those standard as best they can. It's not those of us who support them that treat them as if they're super human beings It's the detractors who can't seem to accept they're only human like the rest of us, in my own personal opinion. I also can't help but feel bad for them in that they aren't just held accountable for their own actions, but for the actions of their family members as well. Every time one of them steps a toe out of line, it reflects negativly on them all in the eyes of the public. I can't imagine feeling like one bad act from one person or one tiny mistep handling the offense could potentially crumble the entire Monarchy to the ground. They are constantly at the mercy of public opinion. I didn't mean to ramble on so. Apparently I'm in my feelings tonight for some reason. All I'm trying to say is that I hate when grown, supposedly educated, people like Perry, Gayle, and Oprah are still buying into this fairytale. Diana was a beautiful, charismatic, and caring person, but she also did bad things, and made stupid mistakes like everyone else. It's not sacrilege to believe and accept that either. The biggest problem in this whole mess is that Harry and a lot of Diana fans seem to worship her as she was some infallible Goddess fallen to earth from the heavens. During the Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph in London, the wreaths are not personal tokens, but representative of a branch of the services, governments both foreign and domestic etc. The King and other Members of the Royal Family join political leaders, current and ex-members of the Armed Forces and World War veterans at the foot of the Cenotaph memorial. Harry should have known this and his request was rightly denied as he no longer represented any branch of the armed services. It would have been a personal token and that was not what the Remembrance Day Service is about. The man child really does need to bone up on British history. SMH

We know, they actually had British police protection in Canada despite what they say, they didn't loose the security when they "fled" from UK. Canada is a member of the Commonwealth so British police can work there. When the Harkles "fled" for a second time to US that wasn't possible anylonger because British police have to have a lot of different papers cleared before they can start to work in the US!

That seems wrong to me. It’s your child even if it was very little. A little life should be commemorated in some way; if they were able to recover your baby’s body it should be eventually given to the family.

His time in there should have taught him to carry necessities like house keys and some spending money. Is he saying when living with his brother while they were training he had to rely on someone else to carry a key to their home and to buy his food and toilet paper rather than using that as an opportunity to learn how to take care of himself?

Thank you for this episode. I have come to realize, after scratching my head over how Harry could be so far off the mark than William in Adulthood. William sought out his Grandparents. He spent genuine time with them learning from their experiences whereas Harry was too busy enjoying his priviledged life and enjoyed being the clown, entertaining his grandparents, making them laugh when there were events going on- A Superficial relationship. They existed only to fund him and to make him happy. No give n take, just gimme gimme gimme. William respects who his family is, and the vast knowledge he could learn and benefit from, to make his family proud when the time came that he would be King. As he grew, his actions showed his gratitude and loyalty. Harry never grasped the concept of working at building relationships because just like everything else, he never had to earn a thing. Sadly, either they procrastinated too long to intervene or no one recognized that Harry was stuck at age 12. 😢
