I for one find the speed of this video so refreshing - I don't need a 10 minute intro telling me what a habit tracker has done for you life - just show me how damn
This is one of the most efficient and decently basic approach I've seen so far on creating a habit tracker in Notion. I'm definitely using this method. Thanks ! :)
you can use this code and choose percentage in number format to get progress results in percentage floor(toNumber(prop("habit1"))+toNumber(prop("habit2"))+toNumber(prop("habit3"))+toNumber(prop("habit4"))+toNumber(prop("habit5"))+toNumber(prop("habit6")))/6 here ive added 6 habits. you need divide by the number of habits you entered instead of 6 at the end of the code to get your progress result in percentage and dont unselect the show number option
Hey bro thanks for the code but is there a way that I add new habits and It automatically adds it in to the formula UK. Like i will have to edit this If I want to add a new habit. I or my friend don't wanna go through that hastle. I would love if you'd help out.
This was waaaaaay too fast, please go slower in your next videos. Normally I watch videos on x2 speed but for this one I had to watch it at 0.25x constantly go back and forth in the video to know what to do
@@avika9197 I also found it too fast, it was my first time using Notion and I got very confused at what was happening like I had missed some sort of pre-requisite to using this program. I do appreciate his template tho, very helpful.
Hey man, i did it stepy by step it took me more than an hour haha it's incredible how you did it in less that 10 minutes, i couldn't pay it that's why I opted to make it step by step.😅
I recommend you change the Date column to a Created Time property. Using this, you'll don't have to put the date all the times when you going to uses de Habits Tracker.
Thank you for your excellent video. I am on a free version. Can you tell me if that is the reason I cannot paste the link and create a calendar view under the table view? I can only create a + next to the table tab to create the calendar view and not paste the link into the space to create a calendar view below. What am I missing?
Very cool, thanks! Tell me if some tasks are repeated only on certain days, for example, every Friday. It is possible how to display tasks only on these days, thanks
What would be a possible way to show the yearly progress of the habits in a chart? That's the only thing that misses for me, to see how the habits develop over time. There is no reason to use a chart for my daily habits, when I can see the progress in the database. Other than that great work, easy to follow along and good simple formula
I'm stuck on the calendar portion.... this video is definitely explained too fast. It's taking me an hour to implement one four minute video and I'm struggling to find the exact tools you used on both my Mac version and iPad version of notion. When I scroll down on each, there is not a place to input a link anywhere.
Thank you for the tutorial, it was fast and precise. Although sometimes too fast, but thankfully you can pause the video and go back. Is there any way though to quickly add or remove a habit, without rebuilding the formula and altering everything else?
Great vid thanks but there is only one thing I am thinking about what if want to start some new habits it will be cumbersome to create a new db and if I delete the habit I am not tracking anymore I will mess up the progress, any idea on the ideal way to achieve that?
Very nice video! I have a question when you click New on the table version of the database, I like the way the date is populated automatically. How is it that works?
Love this, is there a way to have different habits for different days ? And it add them to the calendar so on Monday make bed and read then Tuesday make bed and work out etc is this possible?
Hello!! Have you been able to find out if it is possible to have different habits for each day?? I'm thinking about the day when I would like to add or delete a habbit; if I want to add one habbit tomorrow, I would not like to appear that habbit in the previous days. Do you know if there is any way? Thank you!!
I don't know if you check these comments but can you quickly explain why my to do's on the calender don't show up in the order I put them and its alphabetical. How would I fix this?
a few moments ago, i tried to make this habit tracker, and it's really cool, but i have a problem, the progress bar can't show in the edit, is it only in the older notion or maybe i am doing wrong? Sorry if my english is bad
Hi I used this new formula as the one in the video did not seem to work on the new notion. floor(toNumber(prop("habit1"))+toNumber(prop("habit2"))+toNumber(prop("habit3"))+toNumber(prop("habit4"))+toNumber(prop("habit5"))+toNumber(prop("habit6")))/6 here ive added 6 habits. you need divide by the number of habits you entered instead of 6 at the end of the code to get your progress result in percentage and dont unselect the show number option
@@o1.activee_379 Oh yes, found the problem, accidentally i add prop(Name) in the beginning, which is make the false result, and the progress bar is not shown. Thanks, really appreciate it.
I think I figured it out. Go to the step where you edit the template. Click the three dots and then on "repeat". Set the options you prefer, I chose daily. You need to make sure that you have the "Date created" property instead of just "date". And that's it.
Nice Easlo, thank you... Can you tell me about the softwares you're using to rec the screen and to edit your videos? I'll try to do a tutorial just like that!❤

do you always have to manually enter the dates for each week or will they automatically adjust based on the current day?

floor(toNumber(prop("habit1"))+toNumber(prop("habit2"))+toNumber(prop("habit3"))+toNumber(prop("habit4"))+toNumber(prop("habit5"))+toNumber(prop("habit6")))/6
