I so agree with other when they say, This is so helpful! I so enjoy the way you explain how to use Notion. Do keep creating these awesome Notioin instructional videos. (They are very easy to follow along as I create my own items.) Thank YOU and All The Best in 2024!
Thanks for the tip! It looks like I still have to change the date when duplicating, plus, I like having a template for each day of the week so I don't have to manually choose that Select property. So I think both ways sort of even out in terms of effort!
You could combine @today in the template to fill in the date and then use a formula property to calculate the day of the week based on the date, like this: formatDate(prop("Date"), "dddd") . But this would just return the weekday as plain text, not colorful entries like you can get with the select property.
I am sure that there are many different ways this could be done, that appeal to different personalities and needs! It's about finding what works for you. I think for some, filling out the tracker is very satisfying. For others, it may be just another thing to do and feel annoying. I am pro finding what does or doesn't work for you and going with that! 👍
that last message is so kind, about the curiosity metric rather than a failure assumption
It's a message I need to remind myself of often. So glad it encouraged you!
I absolutely Love this tutorial. It really helped me and making a template makes things so much easier. So glad I found your channel.

Great video.
You can have the date in the name of each page, just reference @today when creating the template and choose date when duplicated.
