Literally LOVE your tutorials! I have been spending WEEKS trying to figure out relations and rollups, watched your video once and created 3 databases for analytically tracking my data. THANK YOU! Keep the videos coming! c
Only 6mins in. And I'm sold!! Best tutorial for creating habit tracker on notion. I've been searching the perfect one. And this is it. No long intro, no unnecessary words, step by step instructions. Thank you for this video!
Thank you for making this!! I was looking for something exactly like this. Other videos never explained it clearly without keeping important info hidden and asking us to buy a course or template. I really admire you sharing this
I am new to notion and the truth is that I am excited about everything that one can do with this, literally you have a range of possibilities, and although the learning curve may be a little intimidating, I know that one day I will be able to understand this well, it explodes me head just to see it.😵💫
I am very new to Notion, and I was able to create two analytical habit trackers, one for my habits and one to track my water. Your tutorial was clear, concise, and very helpful! Thank you!
Thank you so much for making this tutorial!! It's so clear and straightforward. Also thank you for sharing the template with us so that we don't have to make everything from scratch and just have to edit some part of it :)
Hey, just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you for the awesome video content you've been creating! I've learned some new techniques from watching your videos and I can't wait to try them out. Keep up the great work and looking forward to your next video!😊
Thank you so much! I felt really understood by your video and it helped me a lot to build my tracker with ease and freely follow along! Keep going with those very nice guides!
I was thinking of something similar to this, but yours is even more advanced. Loved it. I will probably add a board view so that I can see only the days of that week on my personal dashboard. Amazing as usual. Thank you for sharing!
Wow this is so helpful, thank you so much! I love how you approach the tutorial, as it goes from the basics up to a few advanced additions. It's great what's possible with Notion and I love to learn new things about it :)
your content is so so so helpful, can't count the number of times I've watched your videos when I was confused, so sorry if you've already done this but I have been struggling to figure out how to set this up but with non equal daily habits! an idea for another video id be so thrilled to watch!
thank you so much!! i followed along the video to make a template that tracks my notes, flashcards etc. for the upcoming sy. it was vv helpful!! keep up the good work
Thanks for sharing this! This is a very good method to track each habit. I was working on my own plan for a long time with some issues on counting, and this video just solved my problem.👍
thank you for the amazing, well-explained video! exactly what I was looking for and I've learned so many other cool little Notion tricks along the way :)
Thank you very much for the easy to understand and clear video, it was a great help and inspiration and the perfect finishing touch for my Notion 2023 setup! Greetings from Germany
Great vid! With the recurring tasks update, You should be able to set up say, a [month] habit tracker template with [weekday] habit card sub auto-recurring templates plus the check off formula trick in the vid for some seriously convenient habit tracking.
Después de un buen rato y con la ayuda de otro tutorial recién he podido entender y realizarlo desde cero, sin duda fue difícil, pero valió la pena. Gracias por tu trabajo
Thanks for making this!! Was very well thought out in your steps and instructions. You made it very easy to follow. Was wondering if you will be making any videos in the future to show how visually your habit completions with a graphical visualisation in the future
this will useful for tracking my project50days challenge. thank you so much red. I've been wanting to do it a long time ago and finally this one works with progress i want to track
Excellent template, Red! The idea of creating another database to calculate rollups is genius! An extension of this template could be - adding templates to the Habits database to semi-automate the process of having to manually create weekly/monthly/custom relations to the Analytics database. :)
I followed the same you taught its an excellent experience. Thank you so much. Precisely the kind of tool I'm looking for. But I didn't expect that I only create by myself.
Hi, the formulas format used by notion was updated making the formula you used for Daily Habits Progress Bar redundant. Could you make an updated version of the same habit tracker.
This is a great video and is very easy to follow! I do believe notion recently updated their coding language, is there any way you could make an updated version of this video?
Could everyone help me ? 7:01 I get an error message "Function toNumber expects 1 arguments, but only 0 were provided. [0,10]" toNumber is constantly displayed in red font....
try this one instead of the one she's using --> floor(1000 * ((toNumber(prop("Read 50 pgs")) + toNumber(prop("Tweet 2x")) + toNumber(prop("Workout")) + toNumber(prop("Meditate")) + toNumber(prop("Publish Article 2x"))) / 5)) / 1000
Thanks a lot! I have a tracker of 12 daily habits, mostly automated (they are checked depending on what I write (numbers, text etc.) in my daily journal review) - by using formulas with IF function. I will definitely add that analytics page with the bars to make the statistics overview nice and clean.
Great video! What do you suggest to do when I change the habits I track? Turn this into a template and update my habits each month, or is it possible to keep the same habits tracker? Different habits would need a new property - I guess this would turn into a mess with time! Is it possible to create an analytics view that grabs info from different monthly habits trackers?
@@prosaicpamela7466 I am no pro to Notion, but I would have just created a new "Habit Completion Rate" and gave it the Name of the month, e.g. "Habit Completion Rate Jan". From then on, I would rename the Daily Habits for the month as well to "Daily Habits Jan" and copy them to each day in Jan, just like Red did it in the video. This way you get a Analytics overview of each month. (I did this today for January and February).
I love that! Just a suggestion... at the weekly beak down, I guess there is a formula that pulls up the information of the week day. You cold do that to automate the lookup!
2 года назад
which formula is that? do you know where should i apply it?
notion is so complex and its like studying coding for those formulas, finally got it now thanks a lot but this is so hard but still everyone is using notion
How do you approach habits that only happen once a week or only on workdays while others are daily? I always struggle to build this kind of flexibility into the habit tracker
Literally LOVE your tutorials! I have been spending WEEKS trying to figure out relations and rollups, watched your video once and created 3 databases for analytically tracking my data. THANK YOU! Keep the videos coming! c
Glad to help ❤️

I usually don't comment but I just want to say how much I love your content. thank you for making me understand notion better. Very thankful!
Thank you so much! I had a less organized habit version for 2022 but now 2023 is going to be much more organized thanks to you!
I am new to notion and the truth is that I am excited about everything that one can do with this, literally you have a range of possibilities, and although the learning curve may be a little intimidating, I know that one day I will be able to understand this well, it explodes me head just to see it.😵💫
i feel you. Literally trying to make my own template and i swear it feels like coding.
Literally

how would you do this?
@@chideraumeozulu3830 I would create a linked view and choose board and group by days of the week. It should work.

How do you approach habits that only happen once a week or only on workdays while others are daily? I always struggle to build this kind of flexibility into the habit tracker
I also have the same doubt
I think it would be very useful to have that function
No one has solved this. It is rumoured notion will release native recurring events and im sure Red willl be the first to figure it out.
@@jamesrodes it's released but it isn't truly recurring tasks... if you want it to duplicate all month it only gets added on the day of the task
This is what I was watching the tutorial for... to see if this could skip days but it can't.
This is exactly what I needed, thank you so much!
Amazing tutorial, and the best template! Thank you!

Thank you with the time tracker
