AI team mates with the gear score off are fucking deadly. The only issue I have is the A.I. team mates vs robot/drones are terrible lol. DO NOT RUN THEM WITH THEIR DEFAULT WEAPONS trust me. Heres a trick. Give them the M4 tactical (the one with the built in silencer.) even when you tell them to go loud they dont alert the base until spotted. Even on the hardest difficult, i sit outside of the base and tell them where to go as I snipe anyone that is in their way. I do wish there was a "cover me" mode. so If I tell them to stay back as I go solo into the base, they can cover me with sniper fire and warn me of enemies. If you try to make them attack randomly they will get killed, and when reviving, they dont pay attention to the environment.. However if you play immersive and keep them in mind as you sneak around a base (they cant read your mind) I find them to be unstoppable. They seem to perform way better when you fight along side them. They should add Voice command for your headset. The order wheel is terrible. Its only 4 commands, they can make it happen

They kill silently so they just pick them off one by one. they dont alert the base really until a body is found, so as long as you start them off somewhere good so they dont shoot someone right next to his partner whom is still alive, youre golden
That is exactly what I did. Since they can shoot from any distance when setting up the sync shot, I gave them all M4A1 Tactical. They are pretty efficient when it's time to go hot.
Great video BTW, you turned into an Esports commentator @ 15:25 but it was exciting lol. I feel like the reason why they are better at higher difficulties is because they get smarter too . I think they scale with the difficulty as a risk reward thing but Im not sure . I kinda understand why they made it so it takes a while for them to get spotted. If Im sneaking into a base and want to stay silent, there is no way for the AI to read my mind and figure out where I want to go... when I dont even know myself lol. But as soon as they get spotted, "the AI are shit", even if you put them in a terrible position. Making the detection weak was lazy, but seems like the most viable way to do it instead of spending prolly another year getting the AI right.
That was a really good analysis; thanks for that. I've been playing with them on the hardest enemy difficulty level since they launched and have enjoyed their support for the most part. I tend play more methodically, as opposed to full-on assault mode. So giving them commands is more manageable until the SHTF. Somewhat trivial, but it drives me crazy that they say, "Spotted bad guys." I'd much prefer to hear enemies referred to as threats, hostiles or tangos. And I don't believe I've heard Fixit say a word yet.

You guys should thank the Breakpoint Dev's, because they are trying to give you the AI that you want. 3 AI teammates create a Triangle formation that can't see 360 degrees to pick out enemies without breaking appart and isolating one AI that will eventually get killed. But the Breakpoint Dev's are making it work for you. I know, you can't record the Standard Operationl 4 point Diamond formation and protect the missing angles of cover for the isolated player, at the same time. Because the Diamond formation will split into 2 separate pairs of players in isolation, and then regroup back to the diamond formation after they move threw the cover obstacles or the enemy threat is taken down. So there should be some happier Breakpoint players now that they work in the triangle formation like this.

@@BulletCatcherGaming When you are in the #1 Lead point of the 4 pt Diamond, you're hiding in cover but the enemies are focused on finding you, then you hit the command for "Weapons Free" the Diamond usually Inverts or flips over. It look something like; Which ever, AI sees or recognizes an enemy 1st, they define the new diamond direction. The enemy gets taken from an alternate direction; so, you don't get spotted by his enemy friends. Then the left or right pick up their targets. As you silently become the tail or back of the diamond. In this config you should be Following The Group and covering the 3rd positions back side. Then you call them out of it by a Rally on Me call that reinserts you as the #1 point of the Diamond. At least this is how it works in Wildlands and Now July TU2 AI Breakpoint.

•A.I Teammates should drop nvg goggles too. •you should see the laser of your A.I Teammates if you equipped their weapons with a laser. •A.I Teammates should stay in a place when you command them Hold. •A.I Teammates should do a stealth swimm too. •A.I Teammates command button are very hard specially when you are in firefight. They need to fixed this. •A.I Teammates should have military tactical radio chatter.
I don’t know if it’s patched or not, but when I went parachuting with the AI teammates, they just went completely ballistic and didn’t react to any orders. One of the were walking around with their parachute still open. Another bug that happened was when i walked out of Erewhon, at least 1 or 2 of the stopped following orders, too. They just stand there.
I love them. They work exactly how I thought they would. But then again I dont expect them to be spec op standard. It's just a mechanic not a real live soldier. People expect way to much from video games
i can totally see your point bud, i think peoples disappointment is because overall ai teammates in games ten years old like socom is vastly superior so people are raising the question why is it getting worse

And like you said, most of the stuff people expected from ghost recon was what had been done over ten years ago . It's like the visuals and animations are getting better but the mechanics are moving backwards.
The Team mates do make some things easier. On Advance mode & finished main missions. The Walker mission took several attempts. They are OK when you pick a sync shot for them. As soon as you go in for the attack they seem to do their own thing, some times it works. They are also good at getting into trouble making your job harder. Look forward to your next test video.

I love combining my AI with Drone sync shot. Haven’t had any issues. I just customized the 5 load outs for each one with a different face. So it’s like I have 15 different soldiers to choose from. They actually held their own against the Terminators at the end. I got shot, was down waiting to be revived. Rather than press give up I just waited to see if they would revive me. They fought for 30 minutes without dying. I never got revived, was almost going to continue waiting but I wanted to play so I finally hit give up.

I love the AI teammates for the second hardest mode and the hardest mode as well but mostly the second hardest tho. But I will say they are very stupid sometimes like I was trying to sneak in to a base then Vasily did a dumbass move next to a enemy then got spotted, so much for sneaky sneaky.
I call cleared hot the A.I. Labotomy mode. They stick to their given weapons and charge at the enemy. I had a Vasily charge at an enemy bunker, go in to clear it alone, shooting at an enemy Sniper with his bolt action rifle, while the enemy Sniper switched to his pistol to shoot back.

Interesting. I personally don't have an issue with them except not opening fire when things get hairy, and I wish we could (at least) edit their follow distance. It does get old them being five miles behind you!! lol As for those that complain, I wonder if most of those want the AI to do all the work for them, which just isn't going happen. There's a guy that rants and rallies against the team A; he wants them to here and do that, then go here and do this--in short he asks the impossible to satisfy his disgust to make a fake point--which is unfair. it has nothing to do with the difficulty. i’ve tested this the day it came out. you can go to the same place over and over with the guards in the same place and the outcome is always different. i tend to get 3 outcomes 1. they will aim at the bad guys but barley engage. 2. will fire at enemies but tend to move around more than firing 3. wants blood!. will go full rambo and will kill anything that moves. sometimes when helping if they go rambo i will have to fight to get a kill. if i can even get one. i think it’s the always online that messes with them. the ai never had these problems on the last game. it seems like sometimes they don’t see the bad guys or get confused on what their order is. the rambo mode is what i think they are suppose to do ALL the time when everything works like it suppose to

You using them wrong. you have to tell them when they should take the shot otherwise they will wait until they get fired on so use shot sync and they will clear enemy AiTM is not there to do the mission for you but to help you. people are so lazy!!!
no i said the same thing in the video, but this was not for that it was to test how they do on their own and how quickly they get spotted on different difficulty levels

yeah the bugs in the game are worse than ever my own experience even just trying to make videos is getting hard because of the issues

The AI is absolutly horrible, and a disgrace to the Ghost recon and special forces community.
worth giving them a go on the hardest setting i have found they are quite decent but on lower difficulties they are not good at all
Stealth game play kinda hard to do with all 3 sometimes you gotta tell them stay back but they help in gun battles

You using them wrong. you have to tell them when they should take the shot otherwise they will wait until they get fired on so use shot sync and they will clear enemy AiTM is not there to do the mission for you but to help you. people are so lazy!!!
no i said the same thing in the video, but this was not for that it was to test how they do on their own and how quickly they get spotted on different difficulty levels
