Fun fact the director of Evil Lurks are great friends in real life with the director of the Coffee Table
It was the tensest movie I’ve ever seen. Horrifying. Don’t get why it’s billed as a comedy as well tho. Not one time did I laugh or even find humor. I was horrified. I felt for all the characters. Had to hit pause several times just to breathe. Holy shit I hope that never happens to anyone IRL ever!! Good film and well made.
Agreed, I don't get the comedy part, I guess some ppl say it's 'black comedy' but that's not humor to me.
That salesman or whatever he is looks terrifying already. I had a strong reaction to "The Sadness," so maybe I can deal with this one. Thanks for the review!
The sadness is way more disturbing. This movie isn't as day ruining as most people are saying in my opinion. They don't show anything gory (which is fine) and it's just a sad and tense comedy of errors
Edge lord dead baby jokes... how early 2000s...
Forget the disclaimers about sensitivity. Fuck it. Just go see the film. The movie's designed to knock you out of your comfort zone, so watch it and form your own opinion. The Coffee Table is brilliantly written, shot, and directed. Both leads deserve Oscars.
Great review without reveal the plot. It is a horror movie but it is not terrifying or it is terrifying without being a horror movie. Thanks from Spain. ;)
It was aiight. Interested in seeing what the director does next though.
Where can I watch flesh of the gods
I would've called 112
movie sucks dont waste your time, boring as hell too much hype
