I watch them over and over again to give me an idea of what to do, where to do it and at what depth. Very informative. Right now, I’m in Abu Dhabi working, wishing I was home fishing. Another top video Andrew. The drone footage is fantastic and a great feature to your videos. My time here has come to a end I leave in the morning. No dew again for me just a few flathead not that I'm complaining. I will say is harder fishing here to what I thought it would be big hours for not much reward.
The lake is just so big reg i think being local an knowing so many spots helps. Otherwise its needle in a haystack kinda fishing. U need to get lucky really. An some flattys is always good at least 👍

Nice weather helps alot in that regard an when the fish play the game it all comes together nicely. I done that cast deck myself mainly for the extra storage but its also great to fish from aswell. @@petersimpson4916 was struggle street early pete tried many places for very little. Then found somewhere new and it all turned around. Lucky cause it wasnt looking good. Those calmer days on the lake are horrible to fish, they seem to go real quiet.

Broke off on the rocks unfortunately. But even then it gets the blood pumping and makes you excited to get another bait out there
Beautiful conditions for once lowly, those jews look magnificent with that metallic purple hue. I know its been raining up there, but is the water discolored from run of or is it just like that, reminds me of the yarra down here which always look like that. Love those drown scans, keep up the good work👍
@@longwinterfallout the river here always seems dirty even after light rain. Not sure why to be honest it does run all the way up to the mines. They look great however in that dirty water the purple comes out more, an the drone gets good use when its not blowing 40 plus 😂 thanks for watching mate 🤙🏻

Thanks mate glad u enjoy the vids. I run a deep cycle 100a/h for the electric motor. All depends where im fishing and how much current there is. I can get multiple days on the with 1 charge if i had to but i recharge it after everytrip. An in the river an a big tide maybe 1 day an night possibly. Works alot harder in the current so doesnt last as long.

Was beautiful mate cracker morning, started slow then went off when i found some fish. The drone is good to show the area an a few different things apart from my mug just fishing 😂 same size as normal mate 3/8 oz 2/0 hook. An sometimes a certain colour gets them keen im just glad i had them 👍

Its great in the river but out in the open chop an rough water not that great to travel long distances. The hull is very thin needs to be thicker. Very stable boat when fishing however. All in all its good for calm water.

In the lake i like 20-35 ft of water an in the river the same. I did get some fish in the river in about 10ft which was surprising but it did drop off to 20 pretty quick.
@@Lowysfishing DPI have made it hard for us mate. The licences are monopolised and a rort. They threw in a clause that locked us catch n release guys out even though we wouldn't be taking fish. I wanted to guide my old man years away but to many greedy licence holders make it hard....you got the skills and knowledge mate no doubt you could be a great guide.
@@johnloudon2396 no idea mate maybe 80cm 🤷♂️ its not something i put much time into unless its real big otherwise i cant see the point. I rarely keep them to eat an the last time i measured jewies was the day i got 3 over a metre at the Hawkesbury river.

Hi Lowy, just a question as to the weight of that jig head on that 3-inch prawn. Is the current that strong, or is that deliberately heavy to make noise/vibration on the bottom or to help in keeping a tight line. I'm used to throwing much smaller jig heads 1/4 oz. Cheers
@@coryhayden640 i use the 3/8 as it gives me good lure contact when fishing deeper water. I hate slack lline when fishing u just miss too many bites. It may help banging on the bottom im not really sure. Seems to work really well for me anyway.
@ haha thanks mate. Flattys are just jewfish bycatch when im fishing deeper water. I love my shallow water flatty fishing way more than the deep stuff. I just always prefer to chase jewies more than anything.
