My personal theory is that Lilith owns Alastor's soul. It just makes sense, they’ve both been missing for 7 years, Alastor comes back and *IMMEDIATELY* goes to the hotel and offer help to Charlie, and it would explain his immense hatred of Lucifer. Why wouldn't you hate the husband of the woman who owns your soul?
@@donatebraincells2480well yes and no in a literal sense yes, however, alastor doesn’t seem like a person who would just go silently and follow what some would say without a good reason. Maybe Lilith’s plan and/idea doesn’t interest him
Or mabye he attends to manipulate Charlie into making a deal with Charlie like vox mentioned to the other Vees that he hopes that no deal was made. Because if a deal was made with Charlie he would be powerful enough to break free from Lilith to take her down for good
This was way different from his origin story in the pilot. This version makes him even more terrifying. With Husk subtly spilling the beans on Alastor's own enslavement to a higher up I bet it's Lilith that owns Al's leash.
There's no difference. He came into hell and quickly climbed the ranks. Nothing in the show changed that. It just adds to it. If he sold his soul for power but nobody knows that also doesn't change that. All the other citizens of he'll know is that he gained power quickly and had more power Than most people have when arriving in hell. If he fell into hell and very quickly made a deal with another very strong demon for his powers, that makes sense why he's so strong out of no where.
Interesting thing to note is Husk’s backstory presents the idea that deal makers can gain power by making deals with those like them, if Alastor has the souls husk did, by virtue of controlling him now then it means it’s possible for someone to make contracts and gain other souls by extension of whatever person the deal is made with. It seems even if that’s not the case Alastor is pissed about being under someone’s control and given how powerful Lilith is he doesn’t have many options on who can get him out… So personally I think either he’s trying to get on Charlie’s good side so she can bargain with Lilith for him with chance of success or he believes that Charlie is or can be stronger than Lilith and basically override Lilith’s contract with him by making a deal for his soul only this time given Charlie doesn’t have the stomach for making people do her bidding and Alastor being like family to her he’ll basically be in control of himself again even if Charlie technically owns his soul. Another possibility hinted in the shows pilot and ep 2( by Vox) is that Alastor is trying to get Charlie’s guard down to make a deal with her which means his plan could potentially be to straight up use her as leverage against Lilith. I could be completely wrong but if I had to guess that may be his angle, trying to keep the power he’s obtained and freeing himself at the same time. This also doesn’t have to clash with the idea that he’s there under Lilith’s orders , he could just be taking it as an opportunity to explore this potential escape route.
This theory is kinda dumb since how would husk know Lilith and they said that nobody knew where they went and that would mean everyone in hell would not know went they are so it’s either that one overlord that’s always quiet or there’s a plot hole
@@BdjnsjsBdbsjsIt was never stated you know that Husk knows that it was Lilith who owns Alastor's soul, only that he is "aware" that Alastor is on a leash.
@@BdjnsjsBdbsjs So wait, you're telling me that Alastor, whilsts being owned by Lilith, never once summoned Husk to help him with something and thus find out about him being owned through clues or just straight up gets seen by Lilith? You telling me that all their time together that Husk wouldn't find out eventually?
@@BdjnsjsBdbsjs I didn’t say Husk knew Lilith or who specifically owns Alastor. I brought up what we learned about Husk in ep 4 to explain the possibility of Alastor having his contract potentially overwritten in a way.
I'd be willing wager that Alastor somehow humbles Heaven's higherups with mocking them as being just like sinners in a song and shows his horrors and sins greatly comparing them to them
6:43 actually, I think something most people didn't catch while watching the show (rightfully so cause isn't clear at all) is that Adam didn't move the extermination up once again. between episode 1 and episode 6, 5 months have passed, it is confirmed in episode 5 when Charlie speaks on the phone with Lucifer and she says something along the lines of "I told you where I am when we spoke 5 months ago" when he asks where she's been, and we know Lucifer called his daughter in ep 1 to tell her she should go to the meeting with Adam. so if 5 months passed between the episodes it'd make sense that Adam says the extermination will be in one month because 6 months will have passed by then lol
but in that called she doesn´t say where she is right...? it could have been another call. I refuse to believe they are speedrunning time too like wtf, why make a big deal that 6 months is less than a year if for us a week and 5 months pass in the same amount of time in episodes like tf the week since the pilot to episode 1 being longer that the wait from that episode to 6 is absolutely bunkers
@GabrielRojasAhumada it's weird but my theory is because they got 8 episodes in season 1 instead of 12 so they kinda have to speedrun a couple plot points i guess
@@GabrielRojasAhumada that's what I was thinking too but considering the fact that the point of the meeting with Adam was to convince Heaven that demons can be redeemed and that Adam should sponsor the hotel kinda implies what I said in the original comment, like why say they haven't spoken in 5 months and the last (and first) call between Charlie and Lucifer you show is in ep1 when that isn't implied, not to mention that this way it'd make more sense that Charlie was freaking out about her idea with the hotel not working since no one else showed up and wanted to redeem themselves in such a long time. kinda sucks they had to rush the whole season..
@@GabrielRojasAhumadayeah playing the long game would’ve worked so well. But they didn’t know they were getting a season 2. Imagine we only got the first 4 episode stretched out with no conclusion if the show got cancelled before season 2 could conclude the story. If Viv could’ve gotten more episodes I’m sure she would’ve slowed it down like everyone wants
I kinda thought that Alastor was actually manipulating Lucifer into helping Charlie with getting that meeting by pressing his insecurities about being a good father. Like, if you fear that your only child is going to replace you with some random A hole, you will probably also cave in and do something for them that you probably wouldnt do under normal circumstances
Dude this is awesome! You're my new go-to Hazbin Theory RUclipsr now. Amazing to see someone who cares about the show! Thank you for the effort you put into these, and getting them out so quickly after episodes drop. You're amazing!
sleep is for the weak!!!! thank you so much i work so hard on them! i'm working on a complete timeline for one of the next videos, can't wait for you to see it!! it's gonna tie everything together from season 1 and every other piece of media about hazbin hotel we have :)❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏
I have a theory that the reason Adam shows such disregard for humanity is because he was disheartened after Cain killed Abel. In religious lore how Adam felt about the first murder has never been explored. It could be what led to him turn to evil. We see him nervous in this episode, a bit insecure. I think it might be hinting something deeper to his actions
They actually say in episode five it's been 5 months so there was actually a time skip. A lot of theorizers seem to keep missing this detail. The show should have gotten more episodes in my opinion.
I agree that Alastor definitely made a deal with Lilith, but one thing doesn’t add up, he made it seven ago years but died in 1933, long before he seems to have made it. When he first manifested in hell he was more powerful than most overlords by default, which may mean his power comes from a source we don’t know about.
I dont think that Lilith owns alastor’s soul, too simple and stupid. Why does he need to do the deal with her? I think more about wudu spirits, that explains really a lot. Why Alastor have so mush power at the start, his little wudu dolls and the signs that floating around him. Sorry if this text is awful😅. At the Russian part of community this theory is really popular(or I just don’t see other theory’s)
Good theory. I thought Alastor willingly made a deal with Lilith, but I like the idea of him losing to her, and that costing him his soul. 7:12 that's sweet ❤. I love the fact that they made Alastor owned by someone even stronger, it explains his powers to an extent, and adds more layers to his character.
I like the idea he is an informant for heaven because remember they don't think sinners can be rehabilitated as well and have more to lose if they find out heaven is full of crap as Charlie did.
Angel court:we have found no evidence a soul can be redeemed Angel dust: litterly does everything right and is being a good person and redeeming himself Angel court:yeah he not good enough
I think that as you said, Lilith wants Charlie to snap. But I might think of a reason, Sera is really scared of hell starting a war or something against heaven, so it must have happened. Because in the first chapter Charlie says that Lilith encouranges hell with her voice, and that could be encouraging them to go against heaven. Lilith might want Charlie to snap to get her on her side and go against heaven. Lucifer is a fallen angel and probably has people he cares or cared about in heaven, which is why he doesn't want to start a war. That could have started a fight between Lilith and Lucifer and is why Lilith left.
I'm thinking this may be a bait a switch. While all evidence we have now does point to Lilitha, I think it might turn out to be Eve who is the one who owns Alastor.
That’s a possibility like eve’s silhouette is very similar to lilith’s trading card and we haven’t seen a trading card of eve meaning it could be a secret character that we haven’t got yet. Plus eve definitely has her motive since Lilith and Lucifer did ruin her life making her cursed
Obvious guess is Lilith just due to the same timeline, he and she are “gone” for 7 years. However I am going to guess it is a character not yet shown but ones in the lore - probably a Von Eldritch given how some of his powers manifest (the green glowing bar).
My theory is actually that Alastor sought out Lilith when he first arrived. Like you said we don't know why he's so powerful right out the gate being a mortal soul since no has or has since done what he did. I believe he sold his soul to Lilith from the jump for power and his seven year absence was for another favor that she required Alastor for. As we have seen they whoever owns your soul can pull you for as long as they need, whenever they need. Whether he wants it to succeed or what Lilith sent him for I'm still not confident.
Soo with each sacrifice roo would give Alastor something but before or after his death Alastor makes a dumbest deal in his life, where roo would give him powers when he would end up in hell and in exchange Alastor would serve him for eternity, and that's where things are getting interesting.
And after uprising was cancelled roo commanded Alastor to kill vox and most likely that's why vivzie said that their backstory would be sad cause most likely vox never tried to kill Alastor, it was Alastor who tried to kill him because of her mistress. But anyway Alastor almost killed vox but Valentino helped him out and in fighting between them Alastor damaged Valentino's antenna, but he lost the fight and because he failed to sacrifice vox roo took him for seven years, until roo found out another way to get out of her trap, and the other way was Charlie, since Lucifer wasn't with her and mom left her, there was no better time for roo to send Alastor to her in the time when she most needed help, and Alastor needed to make a deal with her to free her goddess but for that he has to make Charlie as strong as possible for her to be able to break chains of roo, and he refers to it when in episode 7 he sings that she's full of potential that he could guide. Soo yeah that's all, if you want you can make a video about it, i won't complain 😅, if you have any questions then ask.
The exact words were Your souls on a leash. Husker just gave us a big hint! Alastor was not gambling for souls, he just played Husker for a power grab.
Just to let you know, I'm pretty sure you might wrong on the part where you said that Adam moved the extermination up,( 6:40 ) because episode 5 when Charlie is talking to her dad on the phone she says something like "i told your 5 months ago?" so assuming that its been 5 months since their call about the meeting (if someone knows I'm wrong please correct me, ty!!)
@@crossedoutpebz It could have been a different call, unless what charlie says in that part references directly any lines in the phone call of episode 1 there is no way to know
I don't think the 'Who' Alastor sold his soul to is much in question (95% chance it's Lilith, 5% chance it's someone/something else... Eve maybe?), but rather 'When' he sold it Me personally I think Alastor made a deal for his soul when he was alive, and that explains why and how he manifested in Hell with so much power. He was then able to use that initial power to topple numerous overlords, perhaps actually consuming their souls and then broadcasting their screams (which explains why there aren't any of those former overlords still around despite the fact they should have re-manifested... Alastor has a way to kill them permanently and I don't think it's by using heavenly weapons). Now his purpose, given to him by Lilith, is to go and watch over/protect Charlie... but to what end is still speculative. Some think Lilith wants Charlie's goal to succeed, but I actually think that Lilith doesn't want it to succeed, because I think Lilith is probably of the opinion that Sinners have no need to change and that they are beautiful 'just as they are'. Lilith might take the idea of being free and independent to a toxic extreme, the kind of person who thinks that Freedom is just being able to do whatever you wish and not be held back by anything or any one. However, I think Alastor is very much chaffing on his leash, as his very intense reaction to Husker calling him out demonstrates, so while Alastor may be at the hotel to help/protect Charlie on Lilith's behalf... I very much think Alastor has his own plans for Charlie that will very likely go directly against Lilith's plans, which very likely would be for Alastor to eventually coax Charlie into making a deal with him and thus allowing him to gain leverage against Lilith and reverse the balance of power
one thing. Adam didnt move the extermination. its just that behind cameras its been 5 months since episode one when Charlie last talked to lucifer like she says in episode 5
Lilith wouldn't want the Hotel to fail? Charlie is always going on and on about how redemption was her mother's dream and turns to her mom for support and encouragement while avoiding her dad as much as possible. If anyone wants the hotel to fail, it's Lucifer. Not because he doesn't want to support his daughter but because he's afraid that getting involved will bring the wrath of heaven down upon her. I would also like to point out that Lilith is in a rather unique situation. She is a human, in hell, but never died. Dead humans can't reproduce, yet she birthed Charlie. Therefore, the angels cast Lilith and Lucifer into hell rather hastily. They never killed Lilith and never took Lucifer's halo or wings. It's unclear how Lilith got her powers and aside from her Siren's Song (and non-cannon shapeshifting), we don't have any indication that she's actually all that powerful in terms of metaphysical ability. She's described as more of a dogmatic visionary, able to get others excited about her ideas no matter how absurd or ambitious. Through Helluva Boss we have seen that it IS possible for human bodies to exist in hell with seemingly no ill effects. In both shows, it's established that sinners manifest as the age they died at and "winners" manifest at their prime and neither age past that point. However, hellspawn and heavenspawn such as Imps, Hellhouds, Seraphs and Royals do age and that portals to earth only take you to the present; so time exists in some form for both heaven and hell. I'm curious how Lilith sustains herself as a mortal being that should age. Perhaps Lilith finally died seven years ago and somehow passed judgment and made it into heaven? Perhaps she ordered the Goeita to open a portal to earth so she could die up there and experience the process of judgement in order to figure out an appeals process? All the angels know is souls either end up on the list or they don't and all hell knows is souls randomly manifest in the pride ring, neither knows how judgement actually works. Headcannon: The rulers of the six lower rings are the embodiment of a sin and are presumed to be older than Hell, itself; trapped in the apples until Eve unknowingly set them free. They are evenly matches in power with the royals and can alter their appearance at will. Lucifer doesn't seem to be all that prideful; he seems to be a bit of a self-defeating man-child. I suspect it is actually Lilith's stubborn insubordination that got Pride added to the list and she is the true embodiment of that sin. This would explain how she gained her power and how she has managed to live as long as she has despite her human body and soul. This also puts her in the unique position of being able to deal in souls, not just owning them, but selling hers as well. I don't think she owns Alastor, I think she is also owned by the same person as Alastor. Just as Alastor called upon Husk and Nifty at the same time for the same project, I have a feeling Lilith and Alastor were called away for seven years to do the bidding of someone else; perhaps an unknown overlord, perhaps a royal.
But wait the minute i forgot to say why she needs this sacrifices, soo roo is trapped somewhere in hell, even in her design we see her in chains, most likely she was trapped by the angels or maybe even by big G himself, and angels are blessing chains often to don't make her break it, and she needs souls for more powers and for breaking out from her trap, and as we know one overlord owns millions of souls soo thats the reason why she makes Alastor kill overlords.
But let's continue the story of Lilith, soo roo knew that Lilith was about to fight heaven and that was her biggest chance to get out, cause when fight starts angels won't be able to hold her anymore. And roo forgot about Alastor who by that time was in friends with vox. But when fight was about to start Adam made a deal with Lilith to let her in heaven and give her piece and meanwhile he asked sera to start extermination to make demons remember why they should be afraid of heaven. And that's how Lilith disappeared for seven years.
After Alastor appeared in hell roo comanded him to sacrifice overlords to her and everything was going well until. As we know Lilith was uprising against heaven and that she was preparing sinners and demons for fighting. And roo as an embodiment of evil sees everything through her eyes and she knew what was happening.
I feel like Alastor's interaction with Mimzy proves that he doesn't 'want' the hotel to fail. Take note of how no one else was in ear shot when he told her "You're welcome to stay if you actually want to give redemption a shot."
This fan's theory is alestor made a deal with Lilith predeath for power, and Alestor was sent to "protect Charlie" but because Alestor secretly wants to see if this ridiculous plan goes anywhere, and he gets a sadist kick from people failing. In the most disturbing ways alestor is actually helpful. In dad beat dad alestor dislikes how much of a deadbeat dad lucifer is, so he drives that home to lucifer every way he can to torment and teach.
thank god this video popped up. Ever since episode 5 where the bartender said that Alastor is just like him (someone who sold their soul), ive always been curious to know who Alastor sold his soul to...

The fact is the Exorcist can be killed and with Alistor's sheer power and Carmella Carmine's arsenal of angelic weapons it is very possible to defend hell from the next extermination and perhaps even take the fight to heaven. Adam said that he and his exorcists will be coming to the hazbin hotel first so we know where they're target is it would not be all that difficult to set up an ambush for him. It's time for the demons to send the Angels packing
W theory I can’t wait for the next episodes next Thursday me personally, I think the final villain is most likely are in my opinion gonna be the radio demon I have a feeling in next season if that’s going to happen, Alistair somehow finds a way to kill Charlie’s mother and off the leash and Charlie’s going to have to protect Hill from him again, this is my prediction, if all your theories are correct
I'd say that the season one villain will be Adam and the executioners. It's building up to them attacking hell again. And when heaven and hell learns that demons can kill angles Adam will be forced to abort the mission. It would be heavens first unsuccessful exersisum
A badass thing from heaven I want to see are the four horsemen death, famine, war and pestilence. They could be heavens version of overlords. They could be centaurs so there literally horsemen. Just wonder what there design's would be

Note: Adam didn’t actually move up the extermination again. It was said in episode 5 that Charlie told Lucifer where she was 5 months ago which presumably happened in her phone call with him during episode 1 when he asks her to meet Adam in his place. So there was only a month left before the next extermination anyways and he was just rubbing it in her face.
My personal theory is that Lilith owns his soul and that he's working for Lilith to protect Charlie but also I have another theory that Lilith is probably close by.
I may be wrong but I thought in dead beat dad that she mentions the last time they called (her and Lucifer) was 5 months ago which is the call we see in episode one implying the time just passed rather then Adam moving the extension again. Anyway, glad I subscribed as this was another banger
I dont think he sold his soul.... hear me out. I see alot of theories that his soul belongs to lilith and im not so sure thats the case. I think he made a contract with lilith in exchange for unfathomable power his condition was to help and protect charlie til her dream comes true but hes still free to do as he pleases. Torture souls, make deals, overthrow competitors, and even take delight in the suffering of sinners failing to redeem themselves. All as long as he keeps charlie safe and helps her with the hotel. After charlies dream is a reality (like proving her plan can work and have an official endorsement from heaven then hes no longer obligated to help and the power is his. The only thing keeping him bound past that point would be hes not allowed to harm charlie in any way whatsoever and all the demonic power he could imagine would be at his disposal. After working with charlie for so long and outside of his contract i dont think hed hurt charlie even if he wasnt bound to the agreement because he respects her conviction and dedication even if he disagrees with what shes attempting. Those r just my thoughts on it tho, only time will truly tell
Pretty sure he was described as taking down “Heaven Hitters”, implying overlords who either had a reputation for going toe to toe with angels, exterminators, etc.
Which, also going off of that, he might be doing this to become the strongest in hell, usurping both creators of hell, and then take that power to take down heaven. I think this guy is all about climbing the ladder of power
One thing I want on for record is that Zestial knows everything, I've noticed that there are a lot of the same bugs around the hotel, which have four eyes like Zestial, and hes spider themed it makes more sense hed have bugs scattered around hell, because he can see and hear through them without being there.
I dont think alastor made a deal with lilith I think alastor made a deal with seraphim Now that adams dead in episode 8 i think seraphim is going to be the main villian In episode 8 he talks about unclipping his wings which leads to believe hes a fallen angel Vivzie said he did die and go to hell, so he is a sinner A retcon of that statement isnt totally out of the picture, however its not likely he ever was an angel My personal theory, alastor wants to be redeemed In episode 5, alastor out of nowhere acts like a father figure to charlie And in every episode after he actually protects her and the hotel I feel like alastor had a duaghter and she died, causing him to feel guilty My main point of focus is episode 7, from alastors line "just because someone has a smile dont assume you know whats going on underneath" I think alastor was split, he was a sinner, most likely a cannibal or murderer, but he had a duaghter and cared for her and was a good father So when he died, he went to hevean and saint peter judged him, eventually seraphim and him some kind of deal, and alastor went to hell Its possible alastors duaghter is in heaven and thats why he wants to help the hotel, to get to heavean and see his duaghter Now we dont know much about the seraphim, and a friend of mine proposed a theory that camilla is a fallen angel, specifically a seraphim, and emily was really her duaghter However i believe that the deal has something to do with Emily Its possible emily isnt heavenborn, and that she is alastors duaghter, and due to the deal, is being looked after by seraphim I believe the deal was that alastor would be trapped in hell, unable to see his duaghter, in return, his duaghter would be allowed to atay in heaven, and even become a seraphim If you have evidence to disprove my theory then gladly let me know However my current qorking theory is alastor was a sinner, but a good father, as such he went to the gates of heaven and made a deal with seraphim His duaghter, emily, would get to stay in heaven but he would go to hell Alastor sees his duaghter in charlie, which makes sense because emily and charlie are both alike as shown in episode 6, and he wants to help her succeed so that he can try and redeem himself and get to heaven to see his daughter And Seraphim will most likely end up being the main villian now that adams dead My final peice of evidence is that in the pilot vaggie says alastor killed somw of the previous overlords Sinners can only be killed by angelic weapons or powers If alastor was able to kill sinners, specifically overlords, it only makes sense if alastor has some kind of angelic power, possibly obtained from seraphim We now know alastors last name is altruist If Emily's last name is revealed to be thw same, my theory will basically be confirmed
When he'd said adam moved it to next month i Didn't know what to say since. Since in ep 5 Charlie said to her dad that the last time she called him was 5 months. So he'd Didn't really move it, it just has been 5 months since Charlie meet adam for the first time. And of how when she said the time she called him was probably the same time she got the call from her dad to go meet adam (i think 🤔)
A theory of mine is that Alastor is the archangel Michael. I believe this because of a couple reasons. One, he has an immense hated for Lucifer and vise versa. As we know, Michael was the one to defeat Lucifer and send him to hell. Two, he claims about once he figures out "how to unclip his wings", a reason for this might be that he was sent to hell by making a deal with a member of heaven (possibly Lilith or even god) to make sure that the hotel fails. He being send down to make the hotel fail and hence protecting the people of heaven from hell. Three, this one may seem far stretched but during the final song, in one of Lucifer's parts, he has a slight radio voice, or altered voice. Don't know if that is because of how he is flying around, or what have you. But Alastor has the same voice altering effect aswell as a cane just as Lucifer has. Lastly, the hell is seen as good and heaven is seen as bad in the end of the day. No one trusts Alastor, making him bad and unlikely to be native to hell. While there is bad like those of Valentino or other hell residents. Alastor is different, he shows that, like the angles hiding the extermination from all of heaven which was cruel and unjust. Alastor broadcasting his terror all over hell is something no one has done and is seen as very cynical and cruel in my eyes. In conclusion, I believe Alastor is the archangel Michael and was sent down to protect heaven from hell.
Quick fix, adman didn’t move the Extermination up twice he only did the six month one, episode five and six take place one month before the extermination, so episode seven most likely is the last few days before the extermination and episode eight is the extermination
In episode eight cuz Im Watching this video in the future Remember he says once I figure out how to unclip my wings so it’s clear he was a fallen Angel and explains why he is so powerful my theory is that he went to heaven to sell his soul and then come back down and just remember it says in hazbin hotel it takes six years to get to heaven and the other year he was selling his soul so he’s taking souls so he can get his and he’s probably taking souls so he can unclip his wings and turn into a angel.
The part about Vaggie being an angel wasn't much of a shock to me. I had always believed that based on her weapon, attitude, outfits, and body type which was very similar to the other angels.
My personal theory is why he choose to sell his soul and I think it links with how he became powerful overnight meaning that he sold his soul for power among others maybe a overlord that has some sort of vodu power giving him some more power
Charlie not knowing Vaggie is an angel was such a stupid move for me. This entire time, the way Vaggie behaved and spoke to Charlie (the whole "your people not mine" stuff and the fact she has an ANGELIC SPEAR) felt like they both knew. And all of a sudden this is a surprise to her?? So weird.
I think alastor made a deal with lilth for alot of liliths but in return he must watch over charlie which is why he was there right after charlie called her mother he was always watching over her for that 7years
I'm gonna add something to the theory as to why Lilith wants Alastor to be there. Alastor has been shown that he thinks the Hazbin Hotel and redeeming souls isn't going to work. I think Lilith would know this be that Alastor told her himself or just figured it out on her own because she was able to read him. There are two reasons why Lilith would want Alastor to be there. One, just to simple watch over Charlie in her absence or two, to have Charlie reach the potential of her power. Charlie holds back her power a lot as she doesn't want to use it, but we've seen her hint at using it when she gets very upset. Charlie has the blood of an angel and the first Sinner in her, she should be extremely powerful but doesn't show it. I think that this season, Charlie will snap and we will get to see how powerful she can really be. And it's possible, that Lilith's end goal is for her to have her daughter realize her potential, and through Alastor, help her realize she can protect her people like what she wants.
My only issue is clarification of timeline. My only change to your Alastor theory is that it was likely before, or as, he died. One could easily posit that Alastor, being a fine young cannibal while alive, could possibly be thought to have more power from the religious/ceremonial consumption of flesh, and this could tie in to his immediate rise to power, except that the overlords that he took out were, "heavy-hitters", who would have had even more time to collect souls while dead. However, if he got to hell with that power, especially if that power was more knowledge than just power, then he would have been much better situated. Also, unless otherwise mentioned, Husk hasnt had contact during the duration of Alastor missing, yet knew of the leash. It had to happen before the 7 year vacation.
It would be heartwrenching if Charlie has to put down Alastor if he is forcebly controled to do something to the hotel and since she is the only one with the power to do it making her completely snap with him releasing Husk and Niffty before giving in
i think the fans would be angry at viv, alastor is like the number one character beside angel dust in the community's eyes, unless he goes through a proper villain arc that makes the audience still like him as a character but not root for him anymore, but honestly it wouldn't work for me anytime i see him doing something cool im just like "get em deer boi!"😂😂❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've wondered... if an Overlord owns souls, holds contracts for those souls... what happens to those contracted souls when that Overlord falls? If one Overlord defeats another, do they acquire the contracted souls of the one they defeated? If so, then that's one way Alastor was able to kill so many Overlords as his power increased with the defeat of next Overlord and gaining their contracted souls. Also just how powerful is Zestial? It's theorized he's from 15th C or so, so he'd have a long time to gain souls. Maybe that's one reason why he's one of the few of the old order of Overlords that Alastor didn't take down.
I don't think Lilith wants alastor to hinder Charlie but wants him to help her, although we still don't know what lillith is like so it could go either way.
Does no one notice that Charlie said at the beginning of the episode that their was only a month left and they seem to have been their for 5 months as angel also states that they had been their for months to mimzy
i honestly think instead of gambling, that Lilith found him after the fight with Vox and he sold his soul for even more power, maybe even to heal any damage done to him. i feel that also the seven years was him and Lilith maybe setting up a way to do what Charlie wishes to do, or to set up the foundation for when Charlie loses it and goes to war with heaven.
Something that also caught my attention is that since Vaggie is confirmed an angel EX exorcist, does that mean she is stronger or equal power to the overlords of hell ? , despite being the run of the mill foot soldiers, the exorcist put the fear of jesus into even the most vicious Overlords. Eons have past and just now there have been casualty ? And since Vaggie was formerly one of Adams "top girls " ( possible liuetenant ? ) , its plausable that she has the same or greater strength of a high tier overlord and assuming the spear she carries around is her angelic spear, she is possibly the 2nd or 3rd strongest in the hotel.
Adam didn't move up the extermination. In episode 5,Charlie says that the last time Lucifer called her was 5 months ago. Meaning 5 months have passed between episode 1 and 6. Fast pacing.
6:41 He didn't move the extermination date. 5 months have passed. Charlie reveals that during her talk with lucifer when she said that she told him about the hotel 5 months ago. (aka when he called her to talk with Ada for the first time) At least I think that's the case here.
It never said he moved up the extermination again. It just means our past few episodes has been split apart five months and they’re being one more month to be the six months he didn’t move it up again and never said he did that he just said see you in a month and I’m coming to your hotel first.
So theory. Lilith, alastor, and (whoever has alastor on a leash) got into some fight. Alastor was sent to kill the Morningstar family but lilith found out about the plan and went to go make a plan with the angels who also have beef with whoever has alastor on a leash. Little did lilith know whoever has alastor on a leash found out about the plan and decided to change their plan. To watch over Charlie and Hazbin Hotel. Lets just say the plan takes 7 years to plan until finally it was time. Thus is how Hazbin hotel started. Also let me just add that alastor is probably on a leash do to almost dying to vox and making a deal with whoever he got involved with.
contrary to what other people are saying, i think it makes more sense that adam moved the extermination up twice in the timeline than for 5 months to have already passed, like you said. that's the way the show should do it (regardless of what was said) because it sucks that we dont get to see any progress/difference in the 5 month void. the hotel looks the same, the story picks off in the same plot, so i think Viv should just do it how you said and say Adam moved up the extermination twice. we will probably get confirmation which way they chose to go with in the next episode. if it truly has been 5 months im just sad we dont see evidence of that time passing, like the hotel going through massive changes, or even people moving into the hotel as guests. blink and you miss it i guess lol
yeah seems like a kind of unwarranted time skip, like we didn't need to skip 5 months it honestly created a lot more problems and questions in the long run like what happened in the 5 month absence, i have no idea but i have a feeling the story was trimmed down to fit 8 episodes, but either way you could've totally had adam move it up again after the court scene, since he was in control of the extermination anyway and it would make perfect sense that out of spite to winning the court case he would move it up again to piss them off, but anyway i'm glad you think the theory's good :) thank you so much for watching it❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@crossedoutpebz Charlie says when she is freaking out in episode 5 and everyone wakes up to see papers all over the wall, "we only have a few months before the angels come". So I wonder if originally the line where she said she told Lucifer where she lived wasn't in there, or it alluded to her saying she told him months ago perhaps when she moved out. Because Adam saying he can't wait to exterminate them might have literally meant he couldn't wait, so he pushed the timeline up. So her saying there's a few months to go would contradict five months having passed, but everyone is so hung up on the line that Charlie told him she lived at the Hotel 5 months ago, but she never talked about the Hotel when he called about meeting Adam. I'm hoping that in losing a timeline to match episode demands didn't botch the dialogue writing because this timeline is very ambiguous haha.
Adam doesn’t move up the extermination again, episodes 5 and 6 just take place after a 5 month time-skip…Adam is just reminding them that the extermination is still on schedule and that time is running out
I think he is at the hotel to try to get to haven but isn't sure if it will work and is just wanting to see if it is possible. I think if he got in the haven the contract will be broken
For a change I really hope that there are other dimensions with other deities in this universe with Earth as their crossroads. Al striking deals with voodoo gods that could pose an external threat to the existing status quo could be a Trigger Studio plot twist style.
I don’t believe that’s what Husk is referring to when he says Alastor is on a leash 1) Husk says leash not deal or bargain or anything like that which is how we’ve previously seen it referred to 2) When the lights go out we see Husk’s chain but we don’t see one on Alastor 3) Alastor does a lot of things when no one is looking (such as the eye twitch when Lucifer hugs Charlie) which implies he’s protecting the hotel off his own back 4) Husk was specifically talking about Mimzy not Lilith when this leash comment was brought up 5) When the goons attack Mimzy goes “finally” when Alastor fights almost like he’s her personal attack dog (hence the leash comment) 6) Alastor knows that Mimzy is trouble yet lets her stay in the hotel anyway. This is weird considering how careful he has been so far: giving the hotel its on generator off the main grid, removing any modern tech so Vox can’t spy on them, destroying Sir Pentious’ tech he put around etc 7) When Alastor tells Mimzy to go she pulls out the classic gaslight playbook “oh you don’t REALLY care about this place”, “you heartless SOB”, “fine goodbye” I think Husk was referring to Mimzy at that time and that she had a metaphorical leash on Alastor a leash he casts off in the end of the episode. I personally believe that they dated while alive and she mentally abused him the entire time (hence why she commented about him drinking like a sailor) and that that dynamic remained when they went to hell with him only now casting her off now he actually has a real relationship with Charlie as a surrogate daughter (something he hopefully never had when alive).
But how did he get so powerful then and why would he be really upset over being a dog for Mimzy who everyone knows is weaker than him? Also why would he tell his owner to get out off the hotel in the end? Then you got to consider that Husk revealed to the audience that Alastor is on a leash right after talking about having his soul owned by the radio demon. It just wouldn't make sense for husk to be referring to Mimzy.
@@knightgamer8440 I personally believe that Alastor was a Wendigo before he died and that’s how he has so much power but tbf he could just be that powerful because he was unnaturally evil and sinful. Also it’s less a case of who’s more powerful and more the fact that being someone’s puppet isn’t nice and you don’t like it being brought up. Nobody does this is why abusive relationships continue as people feel embarrassed admitting they got in that situation. Also I don’t think Mimzy owns Alastor’s soul like he owns Husk’s I think it’s more she emotionally manipulates him and he didn’t stop her because she was his only emotional attachment and the only thing he could call a friend BEFORE he built a bond with Charlie. Also how would Husk know about a deal between Alastor and Lilith? He wasn’t with Al when he left for 7 years. I do think Al knows about Lilith and we’ll see just how much as the show goes on but I don’t think she owns his soul
@@fireironthesecond2909 1) I never mentioned that Mimzy owns his soul. I was agruing that Husk wasn't referring to Mimzy when he mentioned Alastor being on a leash. 2) So far in the show we have only seen those that sold their souls are less powerful than the owner of said souls. It would make sense why Alastor was so mad at Husk because he indirectly called him weak due to the fact he is someone's bitch and we know Alastor has an ego. 3) I didn't say that he was owned by Lilith and there's a chance it might not be her.
There is one thing that you did over looked about Alastor and that is when the V's where talking about Vox vs Alastor he ALMOST beat Vox. So it could be that Alastor was close to death or almost losing power or something along those line and he could of sold his soul to either be saved from death. Gain back his power, or something else we don't know. God i can't wait till viv tells us🤤
i still think fallen to holy arms could mean something outside of being killed by an angelic weapon because alastor still acts suspicious after this so it could still mean what we thought it did
My personal theory is that Lilith owns Alastor's soul. It just makes sense, they’ve both been missing for 7 years, Alastor comes back and *IMMEDIATELY* goes to the hotel and offer help to Charlie, and it would explain his immense hatred of Lucifer. Why wouldn't you hate the husband of the woman who owns your soul?
But that goes Against Lilith thought of Free will doesn't it?
@@donatebraincells2480well yes and no in a literal sense yes, however, alastor doesn’t seem like a person who would just go silently and follow what some would say without a good reason. Maybe Lilith’s plan and/idea doesn’t interest him
@@murderpuppy3601also another thing that doesn’t make sense in this theory is how would husk know Lilith it just doesn’t make sense
Oh hey i literally just came from another video where this comment was copied and pasted, and someone had called it out lol
To be fair....HOW did he climb ranks so quickly? This works.
Maybe the "voodoo stuff" has something to do with it. Like maybe he made a deal with Lillith even before dying?
Yea
Interesting thing to note is Husk’s backstory presents the idea that deal makers can gain power by making deals with those like them, if Alastor has the souls husk did, by virtue of controlling him now then it means it’s possible for someone to make contracts and gain other souls by extension of whatever person the deal is made with. It seems even if that’s not the case Alastor is pissed about being under someone’s control and given how powerful Lilith is he doesn’t have many options on who can get him out…
So personally I think either he’s trying to get on Charlie’s good side so she can bargain with Lilith for him with chance of success or he believes that Charlie is or can be stronger than Lilith and basically override Lilith’s contract with him by making a deal for his soul only this time given Charlie doesn’t have the stomach for making people do her bidding and Alastor being like family to her he’ll basically be in control of himself again even if Charlie technically owns his soul.
I actually like this theory. The idea that Alastor will let Charlie Use him so he can use her.
My personal idea is that Alastor sold his soul before he died for his power. That’s why he was so strong when he first spawned into hell.
I'd be willing wager that Alastor somehow humbles Heaven's higherups with mocking them as being just like sinners in a song and shows his horrors and sins greatly comparing them to them
that would be great to see🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
6:43 actually, I think something most people didn't catch while watching the show (rightfully so cause isn't clear at all) is that Adam didn't move the extermination up once again. between episode 1 and episode 6, 5 months have passed, it is confirmed in episode 5 when Charlie speaks on the phone with Lucifer and she says something along the lines of "I told you where I am when we spoke 5 months ago" when he asks where she's been, and we know Lucifer called his daughter in ep 1 to tell her she should go to the meeting with Adam. so if 5 months passed between the episodes it'd make sense that Adam says the extermination will be in one month because 6 months will have passed by then lol
but in that called she doesn´t say where she is right...? it could have been another call.
@@crossedoutpebz they should've played the long game honestly, rushing things only make everything worse

I have a theory that the reason Adam shows such disregard for humanity is because he was disheartened after Cain killed Abel. In religious lore how Adam felt about the first murder has never been explored. It could be what led to him turn to evil. We see him nervous in this episode, a bit insecure. I think it might be hinting something deeper to his actions
which begs the question why was adam the first soul in heaven when abel was dead before him
@@robertg7249 Maybe Abel went to hell or something?
They actually say in episode five it's been 5 months so there was actually a time skip. A lot of theorizers seem to keep missing this detail. The show should have gotten more episodes in my opinion.
Given that season 2 was greenlit before ep 1 even got close to dropping i don't think the number of eps is the problem
Angel court:we have found no evidence a soul can be redeemed
Angel dust: litterly does everything right and is being a good person and redeeming himself
Angel court:yeah he not good enough
I think that as you said, Lilith wants Charlie to snap. But I might think of a reason, Sera is really scared of hell starting a war or something against heaven, so it must have happened. Because in the first chapter Charlie says that Lilith encouranges hell with her voice, and that could be encouraging them to go against heaven. Lilith might want Charlie to snap to get her on her side and go against heaven. Lucifer is a fallen angel and probably has people he cares or cared about in heaven, which is why he doesn't want to start a war. That could have started a fight between Lilith and Lucifer and is why Lilith left.
6:44 Charlie says in episode 5 how they are running out of time. Adam didn't move the extermination up. Its just been 5 months.
I am fairly sure Husk was referring him helping Charlie because if he doesn't have his soul he wouldn't be an overlord.
I don’t quite understand what you mean, could you explain? The way you wrote it down is a bit confusing for me
It's a stretch but I think maybe husk was referring to Alastor having to help for a reason unknown, aside from his soul.@@IsabellaBaratti

That’s what I was thinking , he sold his soul at the start and seven years ago Lilith needed his help with something important.
A theory that I came up with Lilith might actually dead considering Lucifer says you're the only one left Worth Fighting for to Charlie
I bet Alastor cheated when he gambled with Husk too
I saw vaggie being an ex executioner angel in the pilot
Just to let you know, I'm pretty sure you might wrong on the part where you said that Adam moved the extermination up,( 6:40 ) because episode 5 when Charlie is talking to her dad on the phone she says something like "i told your 5 months ago?" so assuming that its been 5 months since their call about the meeting (if someone knows I'm wrong please correct me, ty!!)
next vid will be a timeline of everything that's happened so far so thank you for this❤️❤️❤️
@@crossedoutpebz It could have been a different call, unless what charlie says in that part references directly any lines in the phone call of episode 1 there is no way to know
I bet there is tons of arts of alastor with a leash on r34😭
god don't give them ideas
Imagine we all did all thi work to find out that Lilith did it and it isnt even lilith😂😂😂
I don't think the 'Who' Alastor sold his soul to is much in question (95% chance it's Lilith, 5% chance it's someone/something else... Eve maybe?), but rather 'When' he sold it
Me personally I think Alastor made a deal for his soul when he was alive, and that explains why and how he manifested in Hell with so much power.
If Alastor was trying to sabotage Charlie, why would he help by bringing her to the cannibals?
How do people just immediately jump it being Lilith he sold his souls to?
He sold his soul to radio
PLOT TWIST Alastor was once an angel...xD (just a dumb fun idea).
imagine in order to get into heaven you have to have killed someone😂😂 (ik makes no sense lol)
one thing. Adam didnt move the extermination. its just that behind cameras its been 5 months since episode one when Charlie last talked to lucifer like she says in episode 5
I think I just solved what happened to Alastor and Lilith in that seven years and why Alastor disappeared for seven years and more.
DAMN! i need to make this timeline video already!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I'm going to call it, right here, right now.
Mephistopheles owns his soul.
Honestly that's probably how he became an Overlord right after getting to Hell.
After Alastor appeared in hell roo comanded him to sacrifice overlords to her and everything was going well until. As we know Lilith was uprising against heaven and that she was preparing sinners and demons for fighting. And roo as an embodiment of evil sees everything through her eyes and she knew what was happening.

It's Lilith 100%
I agree bro
I think it’s God

@@JohnDoe-sw1rs I don’t think he’s under contract I think he has Alastor in the palm of his hand somehow
I like that your choice of words “ever since” acts like the episode didn’t come out yesterday lol
@@matthewmusco2581 what’s your point? The phrase “ever since” is used to describe something that occurred in the past and is being brought up in the present. You’re acting like there’s a specific time that you can only use “ever since”. Lemme rephrase that for you then:
“Ever SINCE I watched episode 5…”

Adam didn't move the extermination up it has simply been 5 months
Man's hit us with the charlie line about he loves us all😂😂😂

Great theory again. Nice to see.
If we were to stick to the Bible, Adam saw most of his children die before he himself died
I may be wrong but I thought in dead beat dad that she mentions the last time they called (her and Lucifer) was 5 months ago which is the call we see in episode one implying the time just passed rather then Adam moving the extension again.
Anyway, glad I subscribed as this was another banger
If you look up what a wendigo is, it totally explains Alistair. He either made a pact with one, been possessed by one, or straight up was one
Good content my fellow.
I dont think alastor made a deal with lilith
I think alastor made a deal with seraphim
Now that adams dead in episode 8 i think seraphim is going to be the main villian
In episode 8 he talks about unclipping his wings which leads to believe hes a fallen angel
Vivzie said he did die and go to hell, so he is a sinner
A retcon of that statement isnt totally out of the picture, however its not likely he ever was an angel
My personal theory, alastor wants to be redeemed
In episode 5, alastor out of nowhere acts like a father figure to charlie
And in every episode after he actually protects her and the hotel
I feel like alastor had a duaghter and she died, causing him to feel guilty
My main point of focus is episode 7, from alastors line "just because someone has a smile dont assume you know whats going on underneath"
I think alastor was split, he was a sinner, most likely a cannibal or murderer, but he had a duaghter and cared for her and was a good father
So when he died, he went to hevean and saint peter judged him, eventually seraphim and him some kind of deal, and alastor went to hell
Its possible alastors duaghter is in heaven and thats why he wants to help the hotel, to get to heavean and see his duaghter
Now we dont know much about the seraphim, and a friend of mine proposed a theory that camilla is a fallen angel, specifically a seraphim, and emily was really her duaghter
However i believe that the deal has something to do with Emily
Its possible emily isnt heavenborn, and that she is alastors duaghter, and due to the deal, is being looked after by seraphim
I believe the deal was that alastor would be trapped in hell, unable to see his duaghter, in return, his duaghter would be allowed to atay in heaven, and even become a seraphim
If you have evidence to disprove my theory then gladly let me know
However my current qorking theory is alastor was a sinner, but a good father, as such he went to the gates of heaven and made a deal with seraphim
His duaghter, emily, would get to stay in heaven but he would go to hell
Alastor sees his duaghter in charlie, which makes sense because emily and charlie are both alike as shown in episode 6, and he wants to help her succeed so that he can try and redeem himself and get to heaven to see his daughter
And Seraphim will most likely end up being the main villian now that adams dead
My final peice of evidence is that in the pilot vaggie says alastor killed somw of the previous overlords
Sinners can only be killed by angelic weapons or powers
If alastor was able to kill sinners, specifically overlords, it only makes sense if alastor has some kind of angelic power, possibly obtained from seraphim
We now know alastors last name is altruist
If Emily's last name is revealed to be thw same, my theory will basically be confirmed
All these liliths theory’s I hope the show show something that proves all that shit wrong
Yeah...if it's that obvious a route, then I hope they don't take it 😂
@Axel_Kasai interesting how we haven't seen eve yet 🤔
Please notice that Alastor has stiches on his smile while he is making a deal with Charlie
My favorite part is when lucy and al were dueting and it confirmed in one if the scenes that Yes its alastors ears not just his hair😂
@@crossedoutpebz you and me brother i think the same thing alastor would be someone you would come to love to hate to love
The leash Husk was referring to was Mimzy’s control on Alastor, but the theory still does make sense
Do we ever think about how you can't possible gain the amount of power In a short amount of time like alastor did without twisting a few strings?
6:41 He didn't move the extermination date.
5 months have passed.
Charlie reveals that during her talk with lucifer when she said that she told him about the hotel 5 months ago. (aka when he called her to talk with Ada for the first time)
At least I think that's the case here.
It never said he moved up the extermination again. It just means our past few episodes has been split apart five months and they’re being one more month to be the six months he didn’t move it up again and never said he did that he just said see you in a month and I’m coming to your hotel first.
my bad, still doesn't change much i guess❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Does anyone know when are the last 2 episodes going to come out? I've heard it could be on Frebruary 1st but idk
next thursday 7pm ET i believe
@@crossedoutpebz thanks
contrary to what other people are saying, i think it makes more sense that adam moved the extermination up twice in the timeline than for 5 months to have already passed, like you said. that's the way the show should do it (regardless of what was said) because it sucks that we dont get to see any progress/difference in the 5 month void. the hotel looks the same, the story picks off in the same plot, so i think Viv should just do it how you said and say Adam moved up the extermination twice. we will probably get confirmation which way they chose to go with in the next episode. if it truly has been 5 months im just sad we dont see evidence of that time passing, like the hotel going through massive changes, or even people moving into the hotel as guests. blink and you miss it i guess lol
yeah seems like a kind of unwarranted time skip, like we didn't need to skip 5 months it honestly created a lot more problems and questions in the long run like what happened in the 5 month absence, i have no idea but i have a feeling the story was trimmed down to fit 8 episodes, but either way you could've totally had adam move it up again after the court scene, since he was in control of the extermination anyway and it would make perfect sense that out of spite to winning the court case he would move it up again to piss them off, but anyway i'm glad you think the theory's good :) thank you so much for watching it❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@crossedoutpebz Charlie says when she is freaking out in episode 5 and everyone wakes up to see papers all over the wall, "we only have a few months before the angels come".
Adam did not move the extermination up, there was simply a 5 month time jump; indicated when Charlie and Lucifer talked.
For a change I really hope that there are other dimensions with other deities in this universe with Earth as their crossroads. Al striking deals with voodoo gods that could pose an external threat to the existing status quo could be a Trigger Studio plot twist style.
Vals my favourite character
Well that could easily explain why he snapped at husk
I don’t believe that’s what Husk is referring to when he says Alastor is on a leash
1) Husk says leash not deal or bargain or anything like that which is how we’ve previously seen it referred to
2) When the lights go out we see Husk’s chain but we don’t see one on Alastor
3) Alastor does a lot of things when no one is looking (such as the eye twitch when Lucifer hugs Charlie) which implies he’s protecting the hotel off his own back
4) Husk was specifically talking about Mimzy not Lilith when this leash comment was brought up
5) When the goons attack Mimzy goes “finally” when Alastor fights almost like he’s her personal attack dog (hence the leash comment)
6) Alastor knows that Mimzy is trouble yet lets her stay in the hotel anyway. This is weird considering how careful he has been so far: giving the hotel its on generator off the main grid, removing any modern tech so Vox can’t spy on them, destroying Sir Pentious’ tech he put around etc
7) When Alastor tells Mimzy to go she pulls out the classic gaslight playbook “oh you don’t REALLY care about this place”, “you heartless SOB”, “fine goodbye”
I think Husk was referring to Mimzy at that time and that she had a metaphorical leash on Alastor a leash he casts off in the end of the episode.
3) I didn't say that he was owned by Lilith and there's a chance it might not be her.
you DO know what gets u into heaven
There is one thing that you did over looked about Alastor and that is when the V's where talking about Vox vs Alastor he ALMOST beat Vox. So it could be that Alastor was close to death or almost losing power or something along those line and he could of sold his soul to either be saved from death. Gain back his power, or something else we don't know. God i can't wait till viv tells us🤤
i still think fallen to holy arms could mean something outside of being killed by an angelic weapon because alastor still acts suspicious after this so it could still mean what we thought it did
