Yup, etn is pretty darn loud lol, just 0.1g of tightly packed etn sounds like a 9mm luger report, it must've been somewhat disorienting in the video's room with 0.2g of etn going off

Damn. Pretty loud for that little erythritol. Btw, do you know any method for a E4N heat-shock NPED? All my attempts so far have resulted in the r-candy completely disintegrating the E4N foil lol.

Sorry for the late reply, and yeah ETN can be incredibly powerful even in amounts of only milligrams.
Anyway, rcandy can be a bit hit and miss for initiating ETN since it can sometimes get too hot and will destroy the ETN and the container the ETN was in.
What works well though is black power.
So to make some HE cherry bombs what I used to do was sprinkle a little ETN into some tinfoil then wrap it very tight and solid to ensure there’s a thick amount of foil fully surrounding the ETN, then I fill a foil ball half way with bp, put the lil ETN charge inside on top then cover the rest with more black powder, then simply wrap the ball so it doesn’t leak and stick a fuse in.
When lit it should burn for a second before the ETN goes.
The reason why it’s important for the ETN to be wrapped well is cause if the foil is too thin the heat from the bp can destroy the foil and then the ETN, whereas if it’s thick it won’t break and the heat will be successfully transferred into the ETN and boom.

Much appreciated. I actually worked something out lately that almost works 100% of the time. You wrap some E4N in a foil rectangle, fold it around two halved sparklers, wrap in more foil and tape, with an additional full sparkler as fuse. Very foolproof system. But of course you can tape some peroxide onto the end of a sparkler and it’ll work just fine.

And yeah rcandy has been so far pretty useless. Burns far too hot and just nukes the foil before it has a chance to go off.
