Nice job man,but just a tip I noticed you were sacrificing your exits to stay on the racing line, not really using all the track so maybe try playing without the racing line. I know it’s hard to learn braking points but I think it would help you improve even more! Good luck and amazing vid
I did a total of 50h of SPA in december. Not in F1 but in ACC. Right now I'm a literal monster there (not alien level, but im within 1.5s), practice is the way to be faster but you have to put a lot of effort every day.
@@ThePsycho211 well, good to know now but without this context your comment sounds like "more practice hours = better" which isn't the best advice to give to beginners who don't even know how to make the best of practice yet
Great improvement, do you use ABS ? It was hard to modulate with a lot of accuracy when I was using a controller, but I found it a lot more satisfying than using ABS in the end. Keep of the great videos!
You should really learn the braking points because the in game racing line makes you brake early, learn Abs off you will know how to trail brake and it helps rotating the car more also when you make a new pb don't throw away the next lap try to push one more you will learn a lot. You would think it is a tough ask to learn all the breaking points on all the circuits but it's not actually the more circuits you learn the easier it gets. Finally turning abs off on controller will make the game way satisfying and rewarding
When driving with controller, I would recommend you to be little bit smoother and precise with the stick, especially when exiting the corners, costs you at least half a second..
I tried to do something similiar to improve my lap times, howevever I just couldn't make it past lap 30 since I started to not make any progress (not that I already had a good time, but my consistency started dropping). How did you manage to keep going even without having any improvements?
after about 10-15 laps you get a bit of tire wear even time trial, so you need to restart the session. I would recommend not doing only one circuit to learn how to drive the car and not the track. But then again, practice is practice
i am now very confused your lap looked so much off compared to my lap which was only a tenth quicker i don't understand where people get so much speed somehow
Hey as a fellow controller user, do you have TC to Medium or full? And also, do you use auto or manual to change the gears? Will appreciate the response and lovely vid!
@@formulagod. Search for a used T300 Thrustmaster this is a cheap starter wheel and I think after a little bit of training you only need a max of 100-150 Laps to get a better Laptime in Austria 😁🤝

Did he say it too you??@@simasrasimas6553
Thx man ima start doing that Ty again
@@simasrasimas6553so do we
And also turn off the fucking abs 💀
You actually have very slight tyre wear on time trial so you should restart every 15 to 20 laps or so
For real? First I've heard of this one but wouldn't surprise me with Codies
Dang how do you find the time for this! Appreciate the effort put into this man
Ahaha I filmed it in 50 lap stints over two weeks which isn’t really THAT much :)
Good job man I am proud of you, you are doing great keep working.

at some point just putting in more practice laps won't improve your pace, practice has to have a goal to be useful (and I don't mean a laptime goal)
@@maciejhyla7503 We didnt say anything about how I trained. It was not 10h per day, it was around 2h per day with looking into telemetry a lot.

By far the greatest F1 memer in this community, and also makes great video content
Training arcs are always my favourite
Amazing, was so inspirational watching this, awesome sauce and congrats on getting to your goal
great improvements
Thank you bro!
To have done it on a conroler is quite good already. It was pretty obvious through the steering inputs the small touches to the stick
You should do 500 laps of silverstone its my favorite track! Great video and I look forward to more 500 lap videos.
Your videos are always so good
Thank you so much mate!
Turning off abs will help with carrying alot more speed through the corners. Great job man
WELL DONE BUDDY,
Great Work,,,, Vr🏎m Vr🏎m

no abs will be better in the long run as during the race the difference in braking distance between abs and non abs are definitely noticeable.

Do you set these laptimes with setups? If not, it can really help you improve your times even more.
Yeah I do, I just use the any in the top 20 and just add a little downforce for stability
Cold Content btw 👍

I love your video Ideas man❤
Cheers mate! Please tell me if you have any ideas I NEED more 😭
you should try trail breaking with ABS on as you will gain lots of time and once your confident turn it off then you will gain more time
Great Video

To be honest mate the 130,000 views on the last video that I did on 500 laps helped my motivation 😭

I did 1.03.2 in a qualy lap
You have ERS in quali
Also there is strict track limits in time trial u might not have it
I’m gonna blow your mind. What you call turn2 is actually turn 3
Honestly after max 5 laps you should turn off Racing line to learn how to navigate track where to brake and where to turn 😊
I was stressed as my pb is a 1.04.097 which is top 7%
Ahhh I was so close 😭
@@formulagod. I was about to go and beg my parents to sweat F1 if you beat it. You should try on a wheel. 😂❤️
I know this doesn’t matter but the hairpin that you called turn 2 is actually turn 3 from a little kink in the straight 😅

No TC manual gears :)
damn how much i really want to do this post it
Hey, do you drive with a wheel or a controller?
Controller, looking to get sponsored or earn a lot more money to afford a proper setup 😭

Slow down a bit bruh i was overwhelmed with how fast you were talking lol
There still at least 2 tenths in this lap but nice effort and keep doing🤙
You did really good! Tip: you can cut the last turn a lot more, so you can take more speed into it.
Hi! These vidios are super! I don’t know, if you told it already in video, but I want to know… How much hours did you play this game to get 500 laps?
I’m pretty sure I recorded about 11 hours for the 500
Hello Formula God
Hello! Hope you enjoyed the video :)
Great video mate 👏🏽❤️
Amazing video! Keep it up
Is that a controller?
I had high hopes for this video until….well let’s just say every video doesn’t require beats in the background 🤦🏻♂️
Getting upset over background music is crazy
man nice video, but you talk so friggin fast!
hello 👋
Soooo….you didn’t do 500 laps 😂
Wow my fastest is a 1.03.7
