There were a few more models in the VCX line of freighters, but CEC developed many other ships after this one for different factions of the galaxy.
I'm surprised it only had a class 2 hyperdrive.
Yeah for sure. A lot of ships had average hyperdrives but faster sublight engines, maybe to save on power consumption or fuel? Just a theory.

@@hyperspacedatabase Take plot armor out of the equation, it is just a cargo freighter and only the very smoothest of brains would go up against purpose built war ships, Just once can the 'Hero ship' be a darn war ship if there going to use it like one.
