The Corellians had the market cornered in civilian ships just like how Kuat had the military contracts. So it's not unlikely for the Ghost and the Falcon to come from them.
Seasons 3-4 was the peak of The Clone Wars and not seasons 6-7 in my opinion. Savage’s quest to bring Maul back and the rampage they went on was awesome. Pre Vizsla and The Deathwatch were already cemented as threats to Mandalore, The Jedi and the Republic itself… but Maul took over Deathwatch and Mandalore like a boss!
Hera was the daughter of cham syndulla and despite her rocky relationship with her father, she likely would have been able to twist his arm for enough credits to get her across the line, as they were quite well off based on the size of their residence on ryloth
Forces of Destiny doesn’t count. It was Kennedy’s pro female series. It was out of character for Han to say anything was better than the Falcon and real fans know it. His ego wouldn’t allow it

But the savage/maul storyline is mostly fleshed out in season 5. That’s a damn good season
