First have to say HUGE shoutout to the PGA Tour for setting this up. Playing the Stadium course on the last day before the shut it all down in preparation for THE PLAYERS Championship was pretty special. Also shoutout to my caddie Matt who was giving me money reads all day. And of course shoutout to my beautiful wife Kelsey for filming this video.

Looking at all the comments a lot of people are remarking how great the video was. The video is all done by Kelsey isn't it? Kelsey is so cute and has really cute comments! Coming from somebody that has golfed for 60 years Kelsey seems to have golfing Karma. If you start to play couples golf with other couples it should be a lot of fun.

It's crazy how much is was rooting for you through this video, so much tension. It was like watching your favourite golfer on the final round at the Players. You need to stop being so hard on yourself, some of them shots from off the fairways were unreal!

I played the stadium course the Monday after the Tournament and when we got to the first tee the starter told us the course hadn't been touched yet so the rough was way up and the greens were still rolling at a 12...it was a very fun day, as long as you weren't in the rough. The greens were like pool tables. As to your video the 17th tee you are using is where they had the whites the day we played. They had the blues at the pro tee box when I played, 142 yards was our distance. I hit a baby 8 and hit the back of the green on the top on my first swing but then 3 putted for a bogie. Ended up shooting 86 which for me was a very good score back in those days...I am now a 4 handicap. Best thing about the day was the cost was $280 but it was Vendor golf so I paid zero!
credit where credit is due: your caddie was great at absorbing info..club distance, which shots you prefer, etc. more praccy and caddies like this cat and you could compete in some mini tours without a doubt. love the content

A guy ur size should never hit an iron off T, really sad. I played this course for my 25th wedding anniversary and hit driver all the time. There is a name for u in Scotland!!!

And yes you can put spin on a driver. In some cases I’ve wanted them to stick on short holes. I’ve actually spun some back. But def not what you want all the time .

Brodie, I was watching your swing and I know you prefer to draw the ball but it looks to me that your club path is out to in by a few degrees. Your first swing you were set up to the ball great with your shoulders and all but your club came across your feet in the wrong direction if you were trying to hit a draw. This can cause you to pull the ball easily and a closed club face at impact can trick you into thinking your club path is right for hitting a draw when it's a little bit off. If you try hitting some balls at the range and feel like you're swinging the club more towards right-field on your follow-through it can really help with the path. The ball will start just right of your target and come back to where you're aiming. If you are trying to hit fades consistently just move your back foot forward slightly, a dropped back foot leads to drawing the ball! Cheers Brodie it was awesome watching you play TPC, great round!!
