Thanks for the tip brother... and glad you included the mishap..happens to us all... God bless
You bet, glad it could help! I really try and show everything without dragging out the video, keep it real.
Unfortunately my bandsaw is out of order at the moment, so I have tried the same trick on my table saw using my sled as a base board.Brilliant. Thanks for the Idea.
Incredibly clever! You must be an engineer at heart!
This was so helpful! I was working on a craft project for Christmas that required making several large circles to be formed into wheels. I tried but could not make consistent cuts. I thought my only option was to buy them on-line . Your explanation and demo inspired me to try your method. In less than an hour I gathered some scrap wood, drew the reference points as directed and was able to make perfect circles .
Thank you!
Wow! NICE! That's what I'm talking about, thank you!
Thank you .This is fantastic ❤
Thank you very much, glad to help out! 😎
That just got you a sub 👍 I like the way you got on with it & no waffle 👍🙃
Awesome! Thank you! I'm trying lol
Well this was a very timely post... I to am making a Christmas gift and needed 3 wood circles and this is the perfect way to it. Thank you very much, Cheers Sandy
Very nice! Thank you!
Thank you for this tip.
No problem!
Thank you. You can also do the same with a jigsaw-table. For a jigsaw, I would stabilise the blade with two small bearings.
Good idea, I'll have to give that a try! Thank you!
Great video and you have a new subscriber! Well done!!
Thank you!😎
Man, my old table saw is not nearly as rad as yours. I have no fence and my table is much smaller. But, I think I can make it work thanks, John. Nice project for a good cause. Drive on, brother.
So simple and accurate. Thanks for the tip! I’m going to give this a try. I’m subscribing!

Very useful.
Great and handy jig !! Especially at Christmas time, Eh ? Hope you post a video with the ornament's finished look.
Thanks! I will post some pictures on my Community Tab when I get them, sure thing! Merry Christmas!
Clever
Make your squares oversize so when bandsaw starts to cut, it won't drift as much, because extra wood supports the blade from both sides.
Man Bartk I like that!! I was limited on material size so I ripped 1x4 pine and I snuck out 3 1/4" circles. Great advice my friend! Next time!

uh, what about wearing PPE?

This video was viewed by thousands of amateur woodworkers...
Who don't know how dangerous a bandsaw is.
I had my PPE on!
I guess I could do that video next, I'm not trying to be smart, do you mean hearing protection, because my eyes were on.
