I'm bit of a music snob myself, and I'm probably going to be yelled at for saying this but this song easily goes to my 10 best songs of all time. It's so good that I almost shed a tear every time I hear it. Never thought I'd experience something like this from a jumping square game.
I just realized that not only is it made with note blocks, which is impressive enough, there are different blocks under the not blocks to change the instrument, which is a whole nother level of dedication
This is literally perfect, a near 1:1 of the original. No missed note, perfect timings, almost as what was playing was a MIDI of the song! Excellent job!
Damn this is amazing! The notes are ON POINT. I think u didn't miss even one, perhaps there is one transition that could be improved a little bit but other than that it was literally perfect when it comes to an "at the speed of light noteblock cover" Well done m8 (I wish these kind of videos got more views)
This cover of the song is just as enjoyable as the original - in it's own unique way! This just sends trills of joy, pure wonder, and a good dose of nostalgia all at once. Beautiful! :D
I was actually thinking that. I've messed with noteblocks before and the F to F octave range they have is super weird and hard to get to work with most things.
what do you mean by "former"? You cant leave geometry dash once youve started playing, you will come back after a period of time. Don't say such meaningless things. You cant escape this community once you became a part of it. ofc this is just a meme no serious stuff xd
@some dude lol v2 i mean, Cataclysm and Bloodbath are after each other. But the crazier thing is, when Cata ends, bloodlust starts and goes to the end.
This is not only one of the best noteblock covers I've ever heard, but it also looks far cleaner than most noteblock machines I've seen. Keep up the amazing work!
yeah, its a bit more work to manually keep up with it, but the channels being spread flat with redstone lamps to keep track means the channels are mostly the same volume, and you can see which channels are doing what
i'm a long time geometry dash and minecraft player, and especially the fact that this is the full song, this definitely surprises me a lot. good work dude, this is literally so underrated
I've beaten Cataclysm, Aftermath, and Bloodbath, and they were each my hardest demon at the time of their completions. Honestly this brings back flashbacks, yet good memories of my golden age with the game. Thanks for making this!
I love this. Getting flashbacks to the old times of geometry dash when the extreme demon after extreme demon came out with the same song. I want a comeback to this. Amazing work.
Wow, this is amazing! I can’t imagine the time it took to put into this song, for both length and accuracy. As an experienced GD player and Minecraft veteran, this made me very proud of how far both communities have come and the creativity and complexity of both games as well
Gosh this feels nostalgic, despite being a veteran Geometry Dash player (in terms of how long I been play, not my skill). It feels good to listen to this song again after haven’t heard of it for long time
the fact he created this isn't what i find impressive, but the fact he had the time and dedication to listen to this probably hundreds of times to check if he made a mistake is what is awesome
I mean... idk I kinda stopped playing it when I started Minecraft I beat puzzle trials as my hardest and the last level I was going for was nine circles
The fact that they took the time to put a redstone lamp on every beat that didn’t have noteblock is insane and probably made this take like 5X longer that it would’ve with just the noteblocks, but also made it look a million times cooler!
Fellow GD Players, please rise for the national anthem. Also I'm pretty sure there's some blocks where you could make drums kinda. Would be cool to have that too, but overall, incredible and very impressive!
Technically speaking, the video is the speed of redstone, not the speed of light. Light in Minecraft is actually faster than light irl after a point, given that light in Minecraft is linear. No matter how far away from the light you are, you always get it as soon as the game turns it on, and this holds true for even extremely modified render distances. So after a certain point it travels farther, faster than irl light
