Hi Restalgia, just to point out that i followed your video step by step but the uninstall would not work when booting the pen drive from the front usb port. After searching the web,i read that you should boot up Project Eris as usual (using a usb splitter etc) from the back of the PSC and thats how the uninstall worked for me.. just thought id put that out there incase anyone else has issues with the uninstall.
Hey Restalgia, this seems to be explained great but I have an autobleem build and I believe that I used the bleemsync kernel so that I could use otg support. My question is, do I follow these steps with the autobleem build to remove the kernal?
There are 2 methods to remove the bleemsync kernel. In maybe cases you need to do both to properly remove them. If you ran bleemsync 1.2 kernel, this method is correct, but if you had bleemaync 1.0 installed before also, you need to do this method, and a second method which I linked to in the description.
Hey there, great videos. I recently flashed my system with the autobleem otg kernal. It worked for a few days but i think i messed up the power loop and ot stopped booting out of otg. I restored my kernal and then reflashed the custom one and now my system only boots into vanilla mode, but wont even boot up the stock games. Just looking for a point in the right direction. I think my kernal is messed up, but i cant boot any custom software through usb
Restalgia is better to install Project Eris from Bleemsync or fresh new (or uninstall Bleemsync and install Project Eris) ? Thank you very much for the help.
Nice, I just messed up my controller setting in retro arch and none of them register an input when using retro arch or after booting a game, just gonna start over and not touch that setting again lol
Hi Restalgia, where is the best place to suggest things to the creators? I have a Network Dongle that isn't supported and wanted to suggest support for it. Again thanks for the videos.
I have only ever used Autobleem. But first I had to install Bleemsync kernel first to get the OTG working. How do I know what version of Bleemsync kernel I have? I know it was about 6 to 8 months ago when I installed it, well before the new project eris, which I have never used. It sounds like there are different uninstall ways of Bleemsync for each version. I would like to completely uninstall and go back to factory, so that I can then install the newest .90 Autobleem with its own new kernel. Thanks for the help in advance guys!
I'm in the same boat. Did the otg mod per Restalgia and Patton plays videos. I see where to put the "UNINSTALL" file in flags, but I'm curious if I need to remove my stock kernel backup file "LBOOT.EPB" before running the Bleemsync uninstall.
Might be a dumb question, but to remove Project Eris from a External hard drive - i would follow the same steps but plug it into the OTG adapter instead of port 2?
Hi guys, I have a problem, for a weird reason my USB with project eris got damaged and I had to format it. If I want to install it again, do I have to do the process of hacking it from the scratch or just copy the Project Eris v1.0.0 Full Package Download files? Thank you.
I would like to know this as well. I probably wouldn't uninstall if you can remove retro arch folder etc... I'm only running it for the ability to chance stock games and turn on scan lines.
I don't know what's going wrong on my end. I get a message saying "UI database doesn't exist. Creating DB...." and then Crash comes up as an error. "Could not create regional database."
Thank you for this video I have some issues with PE 1.0 and the desktop app. If I follow the steps of video, I will go back to stock and I can install properly PE ?
Just a question, I did the process you mentioned in the video, but I couldn't reinstall Project ERIS even with the USB stick I used first time. It just goes back to the normal screen. Is there something I can do to get it back?
Just in case anyone else has the same issue, or you're still in a bind here's some info I hope is helpful. Make sure you're using the Front USB ports and that your USB drive is formatted as FAT32 and as always that the drive is named "SONY" (No quotes, all caps). Once you've removed the Project Eris Kernel you will loose OTG (Rear USB ) support as well as support for other file systems like NTFS.
If anyone can help me out, yesterday I installed Final fantasy 7 crisis core on psp for the classic and I was trying to map some buttons around and by mistake I cannot press down on that app. I tried every button, every input and it will not go down on anything. I can only go to the side or up but down is not possible. Is there anyway I can fix that by the pc messing around with the files? Or like what would be the file for button mapping on pc to somehow change it
Hi Restalgia, I uninstalled project eris ,the message uninstall sucessfull remove your ubs drive and restart ps classic appear but, I can`t install autobleem again and I can`t load project eris and similars loaders from others usb drives, only just the first with project eris, I think my usb drive are issues but I can`t use a new usb drive
Hey dear Restalgia , I have a problem , I removed project Eris and it was successful , but now seems like I can't install it back again , even though I am using the same USB flash (micro SD) , please advise
Hey Restalgia So do what exactly are the steps that I should take to remove the bleemsync kernel? If I used the bleemsync 1.1 kernel only to add the otg support and then I used autobleem exclusively ?
after uninstalling project eris the console doesnt work connected to USB port that has data anymore, only to USB power adaptors, now i cant use filezilla or similar to acces internal memory
I'm trying to uninstall project eris and I have never had bleem sync, how do I uninstall? The method you showed above doesn't work for me, I don't have an autobleem folder or a flags folder. Thanks in advanced
Did this and thought it worked...OTG was gone, but when trying to install autobleem kernel and getting not in original condition error...I did have bleemsync before Eris, could that be an issue?
Hi managed to uninstall the kernel on project eris you make a blank file in the flags folder the same method but not on the windows desktop do it look in USB flash drive look for project eris folder then the flags folder then create the uninstall blank file then take out the USB flash drive from the PC then insert into port 2 in the psc worked with a couple of secs got this from Mr Mario tutorial this worked for bleemsnk and also for project eris hope this work for anyone else in the modding community.
You likely have the old kernel installed on your console as well. Follow the instructions for uninstalling bleemsync 1.0 on this website. You just need to download the image, and write it to a blank usb 2.0 formatted as FAT32. modmyclassic.com/bleemsync/
@@Restalgia the key for solving my issue was I didn't know I needed the original backup so I transferred it from my desktop to my flash drive and then the newer method you showed us worked. Thank you so much for your videos and responses.

There's basically no way to return to stock kernel without a backup right? I did the retard thing like the retard I am and reformatted my USB after installing Eris so now i'm stuck with the eris kernel forever
Hi, my PSC has got Prj. Eris installed on it. what will happen if my kiddies switch it on without the USB with Prj. Eris? Will it break the console? If so I'll have to hide the console.
*UPDATE nvm we're good, had to change the plug in box for the usb power. Instead of having it plugged into the tv i plugged it into a usb/outlet box and we're up and running
Project Eris is total crap. I tried every USB Stick ever, from 1.0 up to 3.0 , FAT, FAT16, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS and this bs took me forever to get it running. It would load slow af no matter if plugged in to port2 or via otg adapter. Im going back to autobleem until this project is matured.
I don't have my original build or whatever Basically I had issues with my project eris so I just deleted the files on usb used it for other stuff But now I'm having issues with controller not detecting I remade a USB to follow this tutorial but I don't have the flags folder My PSC was honestly playing fine got past the Demon school deal on Revelations persona and now each time I boot my system it does not detect my controller I never used a hub lr anything like that EVER mainly just played with one controller plugged in Played maybe 5 minutes of Spyro when I did use Project eris. I checked the chip Its the bottom left of the USB inputs and it's fine the USB controller Looks mint Don't have a microscope but it looks fine and system was working My way around this has been to literally let the system sit unplugged and hold the power every now and then to drain it dry of any built power but it's getting annoying. I want to get it back to stock, but I don't think I can since I lost my build
Hello, whenever I load a game on project eris, it won’t load. Instead, it takes me to the resume point to override it with a blank screen. What should I do at this point? Thanks.
I set this up the other day and I was playing Symphony of the Night and the game is choppy at times, save room everytime and other moments. Is that normal?
@@Restalgia so I finally tested your theory and the difference is night and day with that said is there any way to get a better UI in retroarch because it looks very blah Maybe cover art or something cool like that?
