The working class. Poor class do support other clubs? I was born in Lambeth and brought up in the poorest of boroughs and lived in Brixton and Streatham. My old man lived in Brighton and took me to the Goldstone and that was that and he was a paint and dec aswell. Trust me i went to Tulse Hill Boys and some of the toughest schools in London. The poor rough and tough label at Millwall means nothing to me. I would have been welcomed down there with my back ground as trust me i was never going Palace?

Great video. i was chelsea and Millwall were definately a very shadowy mob in the 70's. You used to hope you never had to go there! Tales of big greasy dockers running their mob - probably wasnt true but the myth was strong enough to give you concern! I went to the 76 game and got battered! Ha Ha great days

As a Chelsea fan I know I will be as popular on here as a bacon sandwich at a Bah Mitzvah but, hopefully someone will see past the bollocks and answer a genuine question here.....why the change of home kit recently?
I know it's still Blue, of a sorts, but it's not really your colours is it?.....Any "historical" reason behind it or just a commercial decision?
I'm too old for any hatred bollocks now, and found it an interesting insight to a proper football club....good luck for the season

Millwall was formed by a group of scotish people that worked in a jam factory on the isles of dogs

@@traitorsgate9516 they were Scottish as in the development of the club historically , formed by the workers of the jam factory that had came down from Scotland and basically bored on the weekends so formed a football club , played in the colours of Scottish royal blue obviously they haven't stuck purely to that blue , lion rampart on the shirt , old school book on this called the " The Lions of the South " you may not want them to be Scottish in origin but they are and that is completely recognised by the club and fans , you can argue all ya want but as Scottish as it gets in old school London mate , Millwall are as London as pie n mash but jock roots simple as.
