Bout time for some hood ole allis
Always liked the orange tractors😁👍
Please mr big tractor more big 2wd tractors they are awesome
I am a 2wd fan. I am always on the look out.
@@bigtractorpower thank you from greece i
If you can find a john deere 82352wd
We had to get out of small dairy farming in yr 2000 due to the lack of financial feasibility. We used a 706 IH diesel non-turbo and a 190XT turbo Allis for most of the big work. Also D17 and WD45 for smaller tasks. Many years ago we also had a WC narrow front. Today a giant-machine farmer rents the cropland and my aging dad only harvests small acreage for alfalfa/orchard grass small square bales for recreational horse owners as a means to cover some of the land tax and other expenses. Recently required a good condition IH 956 turbo. I'd say in 10 years all of this will come to a close in my dad's life as he'll not have the physical energy to do it anymore. As one of his sons, I've lived in the big city for more than 15 years doing mechanical engineering desk job. I really miss the 80's and 90's in the country. Looking at a high elevation viewpoint at this Nation, unless the states make a concerted effort to turn this country back to its foundational values, the direction ag and many other things has been heading for decades is toward extinction by design. Computers and fascism are taking over. It's gotta stop.
Enjoyed seeing the young lady operating the equipment in the video. Keep it up!
Are you ok haven't heard from you in a week
Two of my favorite tractors that I ever drove were an Allis Chalmers 6060 and a 6080 . Never got to drive an 8000 series tractor ,but I always thought that they were awesome looking tractors
Wonder why they didn’t have the higher HP tractor on the chopper? Man ya don’t see corn as tall as the forage box very often
That's what I was thinking and its 4wd
Both tractors are repowerd with Cummins engines
@@chrisnelson4858 But what tho? a standard 5.9 in a truck can be useless all the way up to 600hp depending on pump, injectors etc. any hp numbers on those repowers?
The 8050 has a 210 hp 8.3 Cummins, the 8010 has a 5.9, more then enough power, 8050 also has the front axle moved forward, it helps keep the power to the ground. As both tractors are properly weighted to.
corn is watered everyday that's why it's so big
Love the AC tractors, need to see more of them. Thanks for a great video.
I've had orange in my blood for a long time, I've mowed with them, I've pulled four bottom plows with them and I've even snowplowed with them. I love Allis Chalmers!
At 7:41 you can see the distributor of the 170. Pretty sure it’s a gasser AC and not a Perkins. Still a nice Allis video. Thanks BTP!
I agree, it's a gas AC engine
Love chopping corn silage.. I'd have the 8050 on the chopper though.
Agreed. I was thinking that too. The 8010 seems a little small for that set-up.
Yeah.A little extra power never hurts
Both tractors have Cummins 👍
@@chrisnelson4858 What?
Todd, both tractors have Cummins engines, the 8010 has a 5.9, the 8050 has a 8.3
Allis 649T, the little engine that could!
Looks like the 8050 could be repowered.
Or custom exhaust.
Love the AC tractors but that 8050 has more than likely been repowered by a Cummins and they’ve moved the front axle forward on it. Sweet collection of orange machines.
The big Orange has some cool tractors. My uncle/cousins and my neighbors had AC tractors.
That is some dam good corn when it’s higher than the tractor.
When his he uploading a new video
I used to get so excited as an 8 year old back when the Allis chalmers commercial would air during US Farm Report. Check out that relocated exhaust, awesome.
This was a special video, we did not see many of those, all in tip top condition
Hey Jason, hope you're just taking a much-deserved break to be with your family or on the road. It is a bit unusual and slightly unsettling to not see you around in the comments at all. Stay well, cheers! :)
Maybe he’s just taking some vacation days..
Oh my, young ones near live PTO shafts. Can’t help but cringe, seen too many awful injuries
Great video. You don’t see these model tractors in the field much anymore
I love old allis tractors. I learned how to drive on a D17
We had one too! Great tractor for its day.
@@rivierstad3817 yup. Still gets used a lot on the farm.
I feel the same way, love the Allis Chalmers. I learned on a WC then graduated to a WD 45
I learned to drive on a d15
Love looks of the allis charmers
I can agree with the exception of this last series they built, I don't think they looked as good as the Allis-Chalmers of the 60's and early 70's. IJS
Hey Jason, missed ya the last couple nights. Always love silage videos. Old school silage at that!!👍
AC has made some cool tractors 😎
I have seen one of those AC 8000-series tractor in Finland, i think it was 8030 or 8050 with fwa.
I have heard that it was imported to Finland by Valtra (then Valmet) tractor company for some investigations.
Because Valmet was planning to co-operate with AC with over 100hp range, but don't know what happened with AC co-operating, but Valmet started to co-operate with Volvo BM and 1983 became Volvo Bm-Valmet tractors.
Maybe co-operating was cancelled because that AC/Deutz Fahr/Deutz-Allis hassle 🤔
109 Horse power doing a good job
Tractors we can afford
Love to watch the silage process. It's always interesting to challenge yourself to see if you can learn something new. Until now I had no idea about the citric acid. It was a pleasure to watch and thank you for all you do! It is such a joy to shut ins.
Not to be a downer.. where is the PTO shaft guard. Man you only need to see someone get rapped up in one to give ya nightmares.
Looks like the 8050 should be running the chopper.
Our AC 6060 at 13000 hours is still going strong. It has spent a lot of time mixing feed. But it has done everything over the years, tillage, planting, haying, hauling wagons.
The 8050 has a 210hp cummins in it. And i'm pretty sure that the 8010 has a cummins as well. And the 170 is a gas tractor. I know this because that is my Godparents farm. Those drone shots were epic keep up the good work.
7:55, I like the sound of that Allis engine in the 8050 tractor, nice to see the orange tractors out working. I've used a 190 and an Allis 7000 series back in the day. Working land, filling silos, spreading manure, etc. I kind of thought these folks would have put the 8050 on the chopper being it has more HP. Then put the other tractor on the bagger. Higher HP would have handled the chopper a little better.
With all these Allis tractors it’s like my neighbour’s place. Theirs are all these vintage. They have a 8030, 7020, 7045, and one similar to the tractor running the bagger in this video. They even have one of the large articulating units, I think it’s the 7580 because it has one exhaust.
Nice agco tractors, they sure had many unique brands. We used the 860 gehl, nice chopper for the time they where built. Just those corn heads sometimes gave problems with the rotary star and knife and sometimes the gathering chain or the knife star goes tight. Other than that dad loved that chopper until we upgraded to deere chopper because you could chop faster with higher capacity. Loved those style allis's. Keep up with these awesome videos big tractor power 🙂
Very good video thanks for your time and effort to do the video
Anybody got MF 1155 V8 VIDEO'S VER RARE HERE IN UK THANKS CHRIS
That ole straight pipe is talking🚜👍
Had 3 AC's when I was milking cow's. WD45, 190, 6080fwd
Love this video. Glad to see another Allis Chalmers Video.
That is some good drone video, it gives you a different perspective of the operation. I like it better than video on the ground but I still like both. Thanks for your work I always look forward to it on these winter days.
work ethics by farm kids make great adults--we need them all!
My dad had the bright idea to tie a rope onto the hitch pins so we didn't have to get off the tractor to unhook when we chopped silage
Take a while with that setup, good to see a pretty little Lady drive an old Allis.
So what's going on? Haven't been any new videos in 2weeks..
My cousin has that exact tractor. He uses it on his farm to pump the liquid manure into the tank spreader.
Enjoy watching the simple things
worriedPto.Shafts.Gaurds
That's some big corn
Nice stand of corn.
How about them farm girls
Yes, good working young lady, I hope she keeps her hair clear of all moving parts as just one wrong move and it's too late, maybe tied up to be safe and out of harms way.
Best combination ever - an Allis and a pretty girl!
I was thinking the same thing myself.
@@jtoddjb And you appear to be an IH man!
@@martingardener90 I love them all really. IH, AC,JD, and especially pretty girls although I'm old enough to feel guilty for looking
@@jtoddjb Ah, a man after my own heart!
We use a 175 for spraying, bush hogging and on the auger. A 7000 for moving hay, bush hogging, hauling grain, blading and other chores. An 8030 for drilling and planting, hauling grain, and using an Aerway. And its not an AC, but is orange, just got a RT100 AGCO with a loader and CVT transmission. Really like all the videos you make but especially like when they have orange and old iron.
He that lives behind the rowes
What corn variety is this?
I use a AC180 to pull a John Deere 12 row planter in the spring & 2 200 bushel Parker wagons @ harvest. Also have a AC220 (2 wheel drive) that pulls a 15' Great Plains no-till drill for bean planting. In addition to those, I use a AC175 (diesel), D-17, & WD for various other farm chores. The D-17 is a diesel narrow-front tractor that gets used for raking hay & augering into & out of bins.
I only make 30 acres of hay currently, but I run an Allis 7040 for the NH 469 haybine and JD 346 baler. I use my Allis WD45 for raking and bush hogging.
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👍🏿
Currently have just a 6080 fwa. It runs cultivators, grain drill, fertilizer spreader, haybine, and does feeding duty for our Scottish highland cattle in the winter. My brother has a 180, two 7010's, a 7020 with a 5.9 Cummins repower and an 8030 fwa.
The area I grew up had very few AC equipment, mostly Fords/IHC, that was Back in the 40s/50s. Thanks for the video.. alwayscenjoy
great job!! you know lam an AC fan!! my youngest son runs a KT110 and a 7045 in is costom baling bisness also runs a AGCO MF baler!! l be watchin!!
Why no videos?!!?!?!????!
Hi Jason. Where are you ? I'm missing your regular supply of great bigtractor videos. More please.
Hi. I just posted a new video. I was very very sick for the past few weeks. I am getting better by the day. I will be posting a few videos now. Not everyday for at least a while but hopefully a few a week.
@@bigtractorpower I'm sorry to hear that but really glad you are on the mend. Thanks for the latest video but don't overdo it, take it easy, we all want you to be better and "firing on all cylinders" again. All the best from England.
Surprised to see this farm does not have a AC 7000 Series tractor of any kind
We use our AC trackers. The 200 has a loader on it so we just use it for a little bit of everything. Plant with 7060. That’s the hardest worker is the 8550 for tillage and grain cart duty.
Hey Jason! We have a D15 on out farm primary duty is raking hay and pulling wagons.
Great great great 👀🤝🚜💖
Good Video.. but am I the only one that cringed at that woman’s long hair around all those rotating parts 😮 be safe 👍
Love the AC. You probably know that already I've said Allis Chalmers and detroit so many times on your channel over the years.
learned to drive a 57 D14 and a D12 when I was 12 or 13 LOVE OLD AC's
FORD 7740
I like the Allis Chalmers tractors I was born during the time you could buy one of them new the cab ones
That is super tall corn..
14 ft?
At least 12 to top the tractor.
Alliis always had there own sound. But I always like the sound of the bigger Allis Diesel's.
Those were a great looking tractor , great looking cab , I'm from the UK and remember as a kid I had an Ertl toy one
My neighbor had a allis Chalmers in both models and had two 6080s.
Fantastic
Have you filmed any like new Holland cr 10.90 combines.
Not yet. I do not know if any are in the United States.
@@bigtractorpower dang. Was using one in farming simulator and was curios if u had filmed one. Also would love to see some kind of video of a John Deere 5100e just cause I use one a lot and their pretty nice
Love my AC's, especially the 8050. That one is quite nice. I'd love to own that one. Thew drone footage was great here.
These corn chopping videos are cool!! I love seeing this type of equipment in action!
My uncle owns a dairy farm in Wisconsin and still is using Allis Chalmers tractors today
Greetings from Belgium , Massey ferguson fan !
Being from WI, I miss Allis-Chalmers & Gehl.
AC 8070 here and its main task is to pull an air drill during seeding time.
The higher PTO horsepower tractor on the chopper ? But that`s just me .
Don't know why they don't have the 8050 on the chopper.
The corn is as high as an elephant's eye there, all right!
Why does'nt he upload anymore?
You should do video about the case mammoth chopper
A good sound for Hallis-Chalmers
how they plant that corn why it too tall.
Must be a good crop
We got a 7080 and we pull a disc
first time i ever seen corn that green in Jan.....
Nice line up of "pumpkins". Real nice.
hey BTP where you at??
Just posted a new video today. I have been sick almost a month. Feeling better by the day.
That’s some good corn!
Pretty neat!
That is some tall corn! From that last shot it looks like he has several long days of harvesting ahead of him.
Looks like its irrigated.
Good looking corn
Hello Sir 👋🏼 Do you make DVD sets of your videos?
I have not.
