You might want to adjust the volume for your videos. I had to turn it way up for this channel and nearly blew out my speakers when I went to the next video.
I run similar setup for many years now. I use Lacerator and Gore Rider instead, but it's pretty much the same thing. I usually farm Nihalthak mostly, DKeys are more expensive early ladder. And I don't use lifetap. With Amplify and decent leach is ok. Mephisto dies so fast it takes just one full rejuv most of the times. And usually run 1500/2000 life after bo, depending on playstyle and dump the rest points into strength. Greatly increases kick damage. This is the most potent boss killer I've played.
This is how i've always played my assassins. Martial arts charms before mosaic people would give away. Great video and i am Glad to see others are loving it.
Good stuff. Played trapper as my first char since d2r launch. Keep coming back to assassin, just enjoy the lore. Suggestion, boost your mic volume 😊 at max volume on my phone it's still hard to hear you if there's any other audio in the room.
the anya recommendation is a really good one. didn't know that. I think vendors sell their items depending on clvl but could be also difficulty limited too,

I tried this in sc and it went really well until end of trapsin (I didn't buy 2x3traps and mostly farmed countess/shenk/pindle/nilathak). however the MA build was underwhelming imo, and not HC suited. without enigma, trapsin seems much better & faster to farm keys to me, would have loved to see some key farming footage with your initial MA setup. possible that MA with these items can work for ubers, but not sure I'd risk it in hc - did you ever die? tbh I'd probably just farm with trapsin or sorc and then either create a new assa or smiter next season
That perfect Fine small charm of Inertia you got bottom left corner of your inventory is nice for bowazons and some other builds. You can sell those for Ber+
Thanks for the guide! Could you elaborate a bit more on what you do with the secondary character? Are you actually farming keys with the sorc or are you just doing Chaos or Cows, selling the items, and then hopping on your assassin whenever you have the keys for an uber run (or find someone willing to pay you to kill their ubers)?
Nice to meet another assasin player, they changed a LOT for season 3 under the hood and not many know baout the scope of some of these changes and the intense possibilities of itemisation it entails So they recently made ALL traps have peirce, so if my math is right a crescent moon should be an um rune in a 3osphaseblade(for barb merc static feild proc on frenzy merc/resale later) and its the same -es as the - res form 7 facets on your main hand. This is definitly better than +2 skills from spirit but is it better than the +4 from hoto?(EDIT) ACTUALLY you can jsut swap to crescent moon AFTER you lay your traps! and do you think blade traps can be a good thing? something like gimmershred, gore riders for CB, dracs for lifetap or lifetap on swap, +dragon/dream+ and flicker flame/dragon/griffs and flat element charms can become a usable build? how much investment do you think it would take to make it worth it and what elements do you think are are best for it? i think a blade fury assasin with the fast rate of fire of the skill to jsut proc effects like crushing blow and carrion wind etcon gear and like static feild (crescent moon)+ lightning small charms or maybe physical damage with an eth runeword (blade fury doesnt use durability) and decrepify proc form executioner's justice another idea i had was venom assasin with + poison charms, the posion damage in calc is averaged including duration so it should be a dps increase? and since the sorc fix works for missile weapons as well ie throwing bows etc on all damage types with +xx tdamage and -xx damage and buffs now properly double dip from bramble and all other sources of +es it can result in a lot of weird possibilities for pvm and pvp. namely im thinking of widowmaker(+5 guided arrow) for pvp. ive throwing things into d2planner on maxroll to experiment how the duration changes the DPS of the charms and blade traps/missile weapons and the interaction of venom and other poison sources
Your intro clip showed your assassin using a Chaos claw. Can you share some details on that? I am playing HCL S3 but I also have a HC SSF assassin and two ohms sitting in my stash. She's currently vanilla traps (and I'm not sure if they fixed the bug with -x% enemy res not effecting traps on SP) but I want to convert her to a DS hybrid that uses Chaos and maybe dual claw or Stormshield. What do you think? Anything in particular I should know before making a Chaos claw? I am aiming for GT/RT base or Suwayah w/ +skills ofc.
the whirlwind assa clip. I played a ww assa just for fun last season and it was really fun. But i was more a lightning trap assa with the ability to whirl arround. 10k sentrys and decent whirlwind dmg + all the poison dmg from venom, did kill bosses pretty fast including Diablo clones :D
If im done with the campaign but im not lvl 75 yet i kill edlritch shenk and pindle because they require no gear to kill and give good exp. I start farming the cow lvl with lvl 75 and trap claws from anya
Hi, great guide. Wondering how you deal with fire immunes in nightmare? A lot of enemies seem to be fire immune… should I respec to lighting/fire to get past nightmare? Thanks 😊
Managed to find an etherial fleshripper, though it's not on ladder. Not sure what to do with it, but I guess I could make my current trapsin into a kicksin later.
@@FeeshCTRL Some people like to use eth items on their melee characters and put a Zod rune in them BUT ofcourse there are items like Grief in the game so almost every other weapon option becomes obsolet.
I've been playing for over a year and haven't gotten one torch :( my gear is just too awful to do ubers because I play solo. I have a 87 paladin, 86 sorc, and now a 79 barbarian for ladder 3. The only few item gear I have are crystal spirit swords, war travelers boots and a shako. I have to keep resist gear because Hell difficulty is brutal, therefore my magic find is 50 or under
Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but Uber Mephisto is destroying me, even when lifetap gets applied to him. I am not running CTA, so no BO. Lift is at 1700, but I am getting 1 shot from full. Maybe you used cloak of shadows during uber run? My death screen is just meph, with like 50 skele's all around me.

Had to leave and rejoin the game multiple times to bring in more sc's and rejuvs. I brought my cold and light res to around 280 after fade, and i think that helped keep the res at 75 after conviction. Also, i started using cloak of shadows and death sentries, which helped a lot. It was still tough though.
Trading in D2 can be annoying at times but at the same time its one of the best things about diablo. I trade ingame mostly and i am using a website called traderie, you trade items for items, meet up ingame to exchange the items
Nice guide, but some buts: 1. 12 into DS? Na hua, why, warum zum Teufel? Trapsin has a lot of +skills even in solo selffound mode, 1 point will be enough, way more better increase fire blast synergies and shadow warrior (not master) 2. If you increase your dex for claws, do spirit in long sword, not broad, it will give you 10 ias for free, and ias is necessary for laying traps and firing FB 3. Checking anya is booooring, plain +3 traps claws cost 10 pgs ) 4. If you have enough runes/fgs for stormshield and draculs, i think you can afford stormlash, that is better for kicksin

Torch farming doesn't guarantee sick pal/sorc 20 20 torches worth hrs. I mean I don't think I have ever found a single sorc/pal 20 20 in all my years playing. Getting a torch to be sorc/pal is hard enough it's not as easy as you make it out but it is possible to get a hr for a decent sorc/pal but not multiple
Diablo 2 is the biggest RNG slot mashine of an ARPG ever created so ofc its all about ur luck BUT farm up 50 Torches and tell me again you are not rich in a ladder. Even a shitty barb torch sells for a vex rune :) If you stay consistent with your key farming you can buy whatever you want after lets say 2 or 3 weeks of running ubers. It took me 36 torches in season 1 to build last wish. In terms of time that was 1 and a half weeks after the reset. And i did not loot any crazy torches
I love how he's showing clips of HRs dropping but the drop chance doesnt change just because you play a sin lol. Good video but don't fall for the perceived hype guys
better on a javazon, clear speed = more loot- I have enigma infinity and tons of runes as 94 javazon, had enigma day 2, there can be something said for just not enjoying javazon and I get that
I feel like javazon trades everything for that kill speed though. Want to Tele? It'll be slow and shred your resists. Want to have over 200mf? Say bye to your survivability. It's less of a glass cannon than sorc but not particularly my favorite. Plus I hate having something that feels like a casted skill(lf) but it's slowed by freezing and decrep.
@@Frostbytedigital You can do survivability with over 200 MF though. I have a setup with just over 240 and she can tank really well with 75 block rate and near 50% physical damage reduction
I run 329 mf with 10 res lightning 30 fire 25 cold- lv 43 lightning fury and charged strike, with cta I got 2800 hp at lv 95 with lots of dodge and block. I can't remember the last time I died. I do Tz with 8 player, trying to reach 99 for the first time! Rings are soj and manald with maras amulet, 2/20 gloves with 25mf, war travs, inventory is all res charms and mf charms. the clear speed is how I got geared so quick, its amazing.
yah you gotta be dumb to pay that many bers for a perf torch idc if its ladder. You could farm a perf torch before you even see something worth a ber drop

Cannot wait to try this out out. I wasn't too excited about a smiter though I do like Paladins in general, but this looks way more interesting.
You wanna know the secret? Play game for +8h per day and then you will get the gear you want and runes and other stuff...
or you´re just selling torches ( an uber run takes less than 5 minutes )
