Once McJesus penetrates your blue line... you’re done. Just the most gifted player I have ever seen ..
You obviously never watched Bobby Orr, Gordie Howe, Federov, Lemieux or Gretzky. Talk to me when McDavid wins at least 2 cups.
@@Michael-fw5ef really difficult to compare across eras. Players throughout the league are much better now than the 80s-90s. Better trained, better conditioned, stronger, faster, etc. McDavid is easily top 3 all time.
@@Nate-lp2cu So, Lemieux was only good because he played in a weak era? Orr wasn't good? Howe wasn't good? Federov is overated? Give me a break! You are ignorant.
@@Michael-fw5ef You're the one who is ignorant. Dominates the league and about scores 1.4 points every game. He is a one in a generation player no one comes close to him. You're never gonna see this good of a player in 10-20 years
I can't even imagine the work this man put into his game to be that fucking good. We are witnessing history here in NHL hockey on a scale that may well never be seen again. Raw talent aside, this kind of talent takes discipline and hard work the likes of which I have never seen.
5:54 alien.
That much puck control, that fast, without looking down once. Hell didn't even look at the net to shoot. What a freak
5:18 the way he says mcdaaaaaaavid lmfao
the voicecrack at the end lmao
@@ElPouakomemes79 😂
If Oilers don't win a Cup with McDavid, then I don't know when..
Welp...
@@michaelh1974 he didn’t say this year
As an Edmontonian, even I am starting to think we are wasting his talent and time. Hope this year would be different.
You mean with McCrybaby and all the other 1st overalls they've gotten over the years? LOL. Don't hold your breath, bud.
The hart trophy should be renamed after mcdavid the kid is just insane he’s just gonna keep getting it every year
@@JACKAL747 STFU you’re brain dead if you actually believe that there’s no slowing down for Connor mcdavid trust me
@@JACKAL747 so 8 years away, at least, have you seen Sidney Crosby tho?
Pens fan here. Don’t see anyone anyone even coming close to McD in the next 5-7 years. Dude is so good.
He was on pace for 140-150 points lol we havent seen that a looong time
@@cambosscam Woah! Somebody's got their panties in a knott! 😆
Mcdavid uses his brain to play, puck skills, skating skills; I guess everything. He's just amazing. And that is coming from a flyers fan
i love mcdavid
It's like watching the best Junior Hockey superstar in the world, only this is the real deal in professional hockey.
He's like the last two giants of the game Wayne and Mario. Marios raw talent and Wayne's fanatical drive. Throw in skating ability I haven't seen since Fedorov and you have a talent that hasn't been matched since Orr came into the league.
Why isn't Crosby on that giants list? They hit 500pts in the exact same # of games.
Mario is twice as good as McDavid. McDavid is alot of flash, but he isn't going to win a cup. And Federov was so good, he played on the blue line for a series of games because Detroit was down a few guys due to injury. McDavid couldn't do such a thing.
@@jasondashney I try not to think about Sidney. But yes, sigh, he is one of the greats.
@@Michael-fw5ef I'm very well aware of Federov's work on the blue line. Played there during PPs for a few years too. But i was referring to McDavid's skating ability, which reminds me of Sergei's (though not quite as good admittedly). I have always thought Fed was about the best over all player the league has seen. Excellent true center who was amazing in all three zones. I'd pick him for my dream team over any other center I can think of.
@@jays1752 Facts are facts. I hate Brad Marchand with the fire of 1000 suns but he's an absolute elite superstar in the NHL, and Crosby is a level above that yet.
The % of his goals that are worthy of at least that night's Sportscentre highlight reel is off the charts.
That awkward moment when you realize McDavid has appeared in more Toronto highlights then Auston Matthews.
Yoo
2:32 they do the same move twice in a row, amazing lol
The main thing I gained from this and young players should as well... KEEP YOUR HEAD UP. Man, just the first two clips alone should show you that but if keep an eye out through the video, every play.. same thing.. McDavid always has his head up. He is always scanning, always looking, always accessing. That is how you become a great hockey player. You can learn stick handling and puck control separately, and most good players that will come naturally but don't focus on that completely like how I was taught early.. Young coaches too, teach the head up early on to your skaters man.
9:33 "TOP SHELF" sounds like the dude bout to cry
McDavid is an Artist with The Puck
Watching this before my game, going beast mode after
Dope.
Best of all in the world and time!!!
This guy made history this season
CONNOR MCDAVIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIi
A song that best fits his highlight reel is gotta be Don’t stop me now by Queen
McDavid is the only one player faster than video...unbelievable
As a Flames fan Connor McDavid deserves a cup
What the hell im not a hockey fan someone told me to watch his highlights I am amazed at this
I'm on mushrooms
Get rid of that watermark in the video
“Pastanaaahk is bettah!” - Bruins fans
POV: your watching this before your pee-wee game
He's got 93 points already? How?
Yeah, he's putting up Gretzky numbers at 1.82 points per game, in today's NHL. Love watching him play
96 now
100
104 now
They shrank goaltenders gear a few years back so overall scoring went up a bit not as much as in the 80s ofc
Ye, he is insane
McJesus just doing his thing.
The defense was terrible on the first goal.
No look shot easily the coldest shot ever, ever. Foh, you do not do that with a shot in hockey. It’s a playground to him. It’s too easy for him.
Will McDavid's production go down this year after getting his Covid shot?
Ya unfortunately he’s gonna score -23 goals :/
5:05 he didnt look at the goal once the whole play, he scored without looking at the net at all for the enitre play since before he stole the puck
He's just like Orr
He is wonderfull player and clearly the best there is but i still dont understand why 3 defenders cannot stop him at 6.00 . Are they total idiots?
@@timjohnson9673 no matter how good he is , nobody has that high expected value ( almost 2.0 points per game) . He just had a season which could be considered as an outlier
He is super fast and the same time has great hands hard to stop him
5:47
Is it crazy to say mcdavid could potentially hit 200 in a season?
Yes, there's no way. He's insane though.
He might hit 150 this year
As good as he is I’m starting to doubt he’s really a winner.
CHEAT CODE
The goaltending in this video is also terrible. Bigger, lighter pads than in the 80s, but they don't perform any better than the 80s goalies.
This no hockey, this figure skating with stick.
Connor McDavid is another rspiarized dummy of the Canadian media. At the age of 26, he has not achieved anything. At this age, Valery Kharlamov and Vladislav Tretyak were standing up to the whole world. They wrote the history of world hockey at the age of 23 and 26 were already living legends of world hockey. More than one Canadian goalkeeper has failed to surpass Tretyak. Neither Gretzke nor Lemieux were able to get on the same level with the great Kharlamov.
