These two have the scoring ability of Gretzky-Kurri, and the telepathic chemistry of the Sedin Twins at their peak and they're not even playing on the same line anymore. The last time a duo has been this productive was Lemieux-Jagr.

@@jimbodangle178 both those duos have a much better supporting cast. Oilers don't have a Hedman, or even Mcdonagh level D. They don't have a McAvoy or Carlo level D either. Their goaltending is wet stinky dogshit and after Nugent Hopkins they have a bunch of 3rd to fifth liners. I will always wonder what these two could do with competent management. I feel bad for oilers fans.
@@Gergentine yes for sure, but i cant agree with them being the best duo, when their team cant even get past the play in. The most dangerous, skilled, offensive, frightening, yes, but to be the best duo, you gotta win also, in my opinion, and they simply havent done that. Incredible players, but i think theres duos out there that we could consider better based off team performance to.
If only the oilers did something, or else get ready to see McDavid somewhere else

I’ve got no favourite team outside of team Finland, I just enjoy hockey and that is exactly why Edmonton’s highlights are a must watch for me. Draisaitl is for sure among my top 20 favourite players at least. McDavid is high on my list of favourite Canadian players for sure (they don’t rank that high on the grand scheme of things)

McDavid the wizard with the stick and Draisaitl, the slightly immobile but very precise sharpshooter.
Perfect duo ...
Draisaitl isn't immobile he just has an awkward skating style that makes him look slower than he really is. He's a beast. Big man who protects the puck well, munches minutes, and has an amazing one timer (to say nothing of his elite passing). He's everything you could ask for in a power forward. Plus I find it hilarious he rarely smiles since he's German.
This is simply beautiful. It's too bad these guys don't have a great supporting cast to take them to the promised land.
Man oh man and here we are in November and things look good.

Edmonton team and fans haven’t had this much fun since the day before Wayne Gretzky left for LA.

Oh look another sensational video from best of hockey what else is new haha. Seriously though, that was awesome, way to showcase them as a duo without really favouring one or the other too much. Their chemistry is a joy to watch and it’s so fun right now that they have been reunited. It’s gonna be a sad day when he splits them up again. The oilers are two separate teams when they are on and off the ice

It's easy to be down a lot as an Oilers fan but sometimes you gotta take a step back and just savor every night we get to watch these two on the ice. We're so lucky to have both of them on the team we cheer for.

I knew when Leon played junior hockey with the Prince Albert Raiders I knew he was going to be a great player and to get drafted by Oilers along with McDavid well you see it game after game these two are goal scoring machines hope they finally get to hoist the cup together one day it will be ashame if they don't they deserve it keep it up guys

The entire reception of that pass was just ridiculous. Never broke stride on a pass that was no where near his stick. Deflected bounced so many times within a single second that goal cannot be appreciated without slow motion. You have to put it all the way to super slo mo to actually watch what just happened. Regular speed is like a crime to how brilliant that is
I don't like the Oilers, but as a hockey fan you just got to respect and appreciate the hockey that those two are playing together. Absolute feast to watch them.

It would be extremely difficult to separate these two. Wondering what the future holds. I remember the year Draisaitl first played on the Oilers and got sent back...boy was that a mistake, when he was brought back he found the perfect teammate to help both of them accel. It's not a one man show and they both understand that.
As a German I just have to root for the Oilers...and watching my German boys play together with McDavid makes that even better

The goalie in the Colorado game Adam Werner is from my hometown in Sweden. In the summers he sometimes play hockey with the kids. And in the game I scored on him, that was cool top shelf

Draisaitl 43 goals + 67 assists
McDavid 34 goals + 63 assists
When Connor was injured Drai proofed everyone wrong who said that he is only a sidekick of Connor. Both have their individual playstyles and benefit of each other. Draisaitl is the unstoppable sharpshooter, while McDavid is the high-speed technician. They are without any doubt one of the best duos in the history of this sport.
Sonatine no draisiatl is not just a passenger. But the argument about McDavid being injured, it was 6 games. People need to get over that, it wasn’t that impressive. He had 110 points and 75 came with McDavid on the ice. Yet somehow people say they didn’t play together last year. That number tells ya they did. And the argument that McDavid then must need draisaitl, that’s just not true. He is better with draisaitl of course. Reality of it is they are amazing to watch play together and we should be thankful we get to be witness to their greatness. I wanna see them raise the cup so bad. And if they put a a half decent team behind them, they will
