I have a similar one but the problem with it was not that it didn’t catch mosquitoes and insects like gnats, but afterwards when I had to open it to clear out the dead/ trapped insects within. Not many would be dead so most simply flew away! Especially the pesty little gnats that bite all day and night long! These tiny insects even escaped through the holes of the machine while still operating! Therefore I made a slight modification to the machine as here👉🏼 I cut out the base and glued-on an empty plastic paint can to increase the depth. Then I put an inch of water mixed with a few drops of liquid dishwashing detergent, then closed the machine and switched it on during the night, and what a good surprise I got in the morning when I saw all the trapped insects sunk and dead at the bottom of the water! It’s especially good in killing those irritating tiny invisible gnats.
