No, salads are way easier to get than cheese. Also don't waste diamonds on triple shot express. Buy coffee at the restaurant and make your own triple shot express
Coffee is $300 at the restaurant. You need three for triple shot. Diamonds are worth $750. It’s better. The only other solution better to trading is growing your own which is pretty easy to do.

Another option for food for energy/health: befriend Linus and turn your cheap fish into sashimi. I usually do that for any fish that sells for less than 140g. Also: explosive ammo is your friend. It's quick and cheap enough when crafting that using it on one mummy, one iridium node or one diamond is already profitable.

6:00 For the ring part, I would disagree. IMO, apart from Luck, the most important mechanic (acquiring from ring) for farming Skull Cavern is Magnetism. Farming Skull Cavern is all about going down levels and collecting drops fast. Magnetism allows you to walk less to collect, which not only saves your time, but also makes you less vulnerable to monsters. Stacking up to 4 tiles of Magnetism (two magnet rings, for example) could improve your performance by A LOT.

Incidentally I’m playing on iPad, and weirdly, the prize machine is not functional for me here. Ye-, did quests, earned tickets. No machine. Online searches say re-install game. Bleah.. happy with my endless fortune statue couldn’t care less about the prize machine

some people swear by the slingshot w. explosive ammo, but i’ve always found it a little bit clunky. with practice it’s probs more useful!! :)
