Help .. my charger light is partially red and half green / I did change the rechargeable battery / also I assume when the light flashes , the battery is not fully charged?
the proprietary 18650 that comes with this light is low capacity junk. The magnetic charging system is nice but does not charge the cell to a full 4.20v. The emitter looks like the old XM-L. Love the ergos, 400 lumens is acceptable, the focusing system is one of the best there is. Here in the states this light is $250. Ludicrously expensive. As much as I like this light its value factor is very low. I would have to buy a modern higher capacity 18650, the charging system is useless when a stand alone charger like my Xtar VC4 charges 18650's properly and to a full 4.20v. LED Lenser would do well with a non rechargeable version of this light. It would be cheaper and the buyer gets to choose one of the many modern high capacity superior 18650's now available. As much as I also want the M14X I just cannot justify $160 for a 4xAA light with only 600 lumens. LED Lenser may sell out in Europe but they are losing ground to Fenix, Nitecore etc. they obviously have no intention of taking the the lead in the US market. Sad really
Not to be a pain... but the SOS signal is wrong. It's 3 short, 3 long, 3 short. According to the animation with the SOS, it's flashing: 3 long, 3 short, 3 long.

Where can I pick up a replacement charger system? Looked around online but there's many unreliable sources.
