You were the only person who helped me decide on my ideal pair of vibrams. You talked about everything I needed to know and added your well thought out opinions as well. Great video and thanks so much. Take care and God bless.
Yep, calf muscles, when you first start out be prepared to go very slow adjusting, or accept the odd torn calf, tends to work out over time. On the upside any knee or hip pain will subside, forever. Good review!
Been using them for a year and have built my lower leg muscles up enough to run long distance in them. My favorite thing is how with them I have never felt extreme muscle pain as with traditional running shoes, even the so called nike free runs. Good video man!
I'm about to start running regularly for the first time in my 27 years alive. First I was going to purchase a pair of Brooks Glycerin 17's with that massive heel cushion until I heard a podcast from Joe Rogan explaining how those type of shoes literally handicap you and do not allow your foot/leg/calve muscles to properly develop. So here I am getting the scoop in your video (and others) on the pair of Vibram KSO EVO's I just purchased. Appreciate the clear concise information displayed here for my novice eyes. I figure if I'm going to get into running i should do it in a way that most benefits my body.
I've started wearing vibram shoes back in 2009 and stopped using them in 2019. This model is the last model I have left -- a brand new pair. I've worn out 3 other pairs of these. I used to wear these for everything, even gym. After 3 hours, they kinda start hurt my feet, but since covid, I've just gone to sneakers. IDK if i will ever get back into vibram shoes. Around 2010, these were super popular.
Hello! I got one pair and even though I got one size up they are snug with no space in front of the fingers. Should it be space in front of the fingers? Please I need some advice so that I can get another size. Thank you!
I know it is an old video, but somebody might be looking at it some of the things in there that you said are so profound and so true I have like skinny feet kind of a thing not super skinny, but my center the foot like around the arches is thinner, and The shoes fit me so good because it like you said it like it painted on it just wrapped around your feet foot perfect and the other thing is it kind of ruins it for when you put on other shoes every time I put on another shoe. I’m like these are too loose upfront. These are too tight upfront. They’re too loose in the midfoot you know too tight in the midfoot And it’s like I can’t find the shoot that fits me right and I just gotta get used to using five fingers on rough trails cause that’s what we have here in the southeast and the US and but I like them so much more than running in sandals just because of the fit is perfect. It doesn’t use any extra rubber or anything than what my foot is and it’s it’s actually like a laser designed to shoe around my foot. I just I think they’re so great, this is my very first pair of KSO And love them also
Thank you for your review, it's really helpful! What's your thought on functional training and CrossFit? Do you think they'd work for that type of workout? Otherwise, I was considering getting those for long-distance walking and the V-Train 2.0 for CrossFit. What's your thought on that?
I've never seen a design that fits MY foot - where the second toe is longest. Everybody is different and please acknowledge that a Vibram shoe isn't going to work for everyone.

Good review!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! :)

Thank you! Yes definitely take it slow at first. I've never looked back after going minimal and still no injuries since I did (touch wood).

Thank you for review! Do you wear them with socks?
I'd like to know this too. Socks don't help with ground feel, but do help with smell.
@@timgay3485 Running them through the wash with warm water and left to air dry helps with smell too. I mean a sweaty sock still soaks into a shoe.

They dont look worn at all having used for 200 miles running? Is it that durable, because I have heard that the material comes apart soon.

I was looking at these but am interested in a 'long run' barefoot shoe - do you think the V-run would be better for say a 20 miler?
hey also i have discovered saguaro shoes (similar to vibram) after shin splints and it was very helpful
Do you think it's true to size or need to adjust anything?
Can you walk/run on trail too?
They look like the el-x but with a stretchy cord.
That's essentially what they are. Not sure which came first but it's nice to have the option of laces or not I suppose. 👍🏻
