Why is it taking so long to get qualified? I applied in April and I’ve been working full time for a school district for two years. It was already at the district office . I have no idea what the hold up is.

I worked for an approved government agency, and am currently employed by the same government agency . my Direct loans are now with Dept of Ed, but they have the wrong disbursement date. It’s listed as 11/ 2108 when they were actually disbursed in 2000 and 2001. So a lot of my service was not counted for those years. How do I correct this???

Could you explain the bankruptcy part you talked about in an earlier video? We filed bankruptcy in 2012 but not against our student loans. We continued paying on them during the entire 13 years we've had them. We did have some time of forbearance off and on. Loans were less than $12,000, paid more than 10 years, and on the save plan.

I think i also the requirement that you are employed in public service at the time of forgiveness, not just the time of application.

That’s an old requirement. They’ve since updated it to be simply at the time you apply,
