Great footage and info! Glad you also agree on the price point Scott 👌! They need to price it more competitive. Range, comparison and hill climbing tests are the most logical to do. But also can't wait on the follow up and the inside look 👌. I'll send my question video asap and you might feel it coming 😅🤙
Looks like an awesome board, I’ve been wanting to get the “Evolve GTR” for my first board but the “Atlas” is definitely the one to buy. Some footage of the Atlas on a dirt track would be good 🤙🏽
The Atlas motors will definitely overheat on a proper dirt track, Evolve motors are even bigger and they do it too. This board gets about 40% less range than the Evolve GTR also. As a beginner, especially if you’re based in Australia, Evolve is the most ideal option unless price is an issue and you’re okay with having limited customer service support/warranty.
A street setup range test would be awesome! I have some boosted 105s I wanna slap on this board when I buy it but I’ve been waiting for more reviews to come out. Thanks for the video, keep up the awesome work!
I’m mostly concerned about the giant ant. Great review, I think hill climbing or trails would be an interesting next video. I wanna see it go up something crazy steep, even if it’s a man made hill like a parking garage etc. Exway, let us review this thing next! Great quality in this Scott, audio was on point. 🤙
I did 48km/h on my Eovan before I got an wobbles. You need to ride through wet street to test water proofing. my old evolve CGT was so concave the water pooled and leaked in. any top lid concave skateboard will suffer leak without having super good seals. Are those motors measured from the inside or the outside as they _do_ look pretty small, ok for 4wd but just as bad as evolve. I'd love to try that out, give it a hard test. seems you're doing the sydney harbour ride we did hahaha. we should do a side by side test against eovan .. 2wd though I think hill climbs are a good test only with a before and after battery reading and has to be long enough to see it drain and recover amounts
@@jaredfrench6285 love it, I want to ride it right now actually. I was suppose to make my own review video on it but didn't turn out well enough. have to redo it. the only bad design was the trucks, the deck level kingpin nut you can't adjust it with typical socket, you need to use an open end spanner or whatever but it's a deal breaker. speed does reach 50km/h, I verified to 48 before it started to wobble so tighten those trucks up. They said it's software locked but can actually do 60km/h but they didn't want their customers to die lol. I also asked Eovan to sell those hex pads, I got some from them to redo my pattern :) it was a good buy so have fun with it.

Great much anticipated review indeed! 👍 I would love to see hill climbs both in 4wd and 2wd and a drag race in 2wd against Eovan carbon would be sick 🙏👍
You sure about that, I think the Atlas might get a quick jump off the line but the Eovan will destroy it, guess the only way to find out is in JP leader boards boards
@@scottdaviesyoutube thanks for the Review Scott !! Eovan seems to be a much better value , I does not make sense to pay that much for such low range on 4wd. you also could buy 3 verreal RS with bigger battery for the price of 1 Atlas , ouffff : )
@Vi Wo everything about the Atlas will smoke your eovan other than the range. Craving the looks power, speed up hill, on/off location and the quality way better than the eovan but don't get me wrong the eovan board is good but not better than the atlas🙂🤙🏽
Just purchased the 4*4 Atlas. Can't wait for my board to arrive. Is Hadean more powerful than the Atlas? Maybe make a impressions video when you get around to it. Thanks for sharing
Hi mate, I’ve just requested with Exway they send me the production motors as I only have the small ones. A soon as they arrive I’ll film a head to head with a few boards
As Charlie One below, I'd love to see a comparison with the Lycaon TRX and also the Bibuff. Is it worth paying that extra money for the Atlas, especially given it has a smaller battery than its cheaper competitors?
It would be great to see a demonstration of how easily the Atlas's modular parts attach on and off. Even if you do not have replacement trucks/drive trains/batteries, I am really intrigued. Having seen social media posts of battery clips breaking on the Wave, meaning the board is essential broken, I hope the Atlas utilizes good old nuts 'n' bolts over plastic plug 'n' play components. Anything you can share on this, I am sure will be of value to others too. P.s. great video, very tempting 👍
Have you looked into Eovan boards? I got an Exway X1 Pro right now, and the Eovan equivalent to Atlas looks interesting, offers more battery than the Atlas..

Great review. Looks like an absolute weapon, only problem for me is that range. I hot swap my battery on my GTR, is it possible to do it on this board?
I definitely need to get an AT board. But I ordered the Onlyone board per your review and I'm wondering how it held up over time? Really like your videos. I just am curious how that board holds up for you now. Fantastic information and footage
Seems like a great board, especially with the design of their double kingpins... however, the motors are a tad weak so you really need to get the 4 motor combo... which is going to run you back $2,100 minimum 😩 Tough sell when the AT2 is $1,000. I definitely would’ve gone for the Atlas if it was in the $1,500 range
This one (for a carbon) is amazingly comfortable. Does not flex like the AT2 but still seeks super good. The tracks add a lot of comfort to the ride as well
the range is going to be an issue. I think that you could do a swap battery maybe to solve it. I am still wondering if the 2wd version is going to be worth it
There’s a lot of hype around this board - would love to know from those watching what attracts them to it - is it because this is exway and they have put out good boards or more the 4wd aspect or something else? Who’s buying and who is just interested? Let me know what you 💭
My take - love the look and the length - not so bothered about 4wd but it is neat and the flexibility of 2/4wd is cool. Price put me off in the end and I put my money on an Eovan Carbon for the bigger battery, bigger motors and build quality (e.g. metal pulleys vs plastic with double bearings). Time will tell wether Eovan can scale to Exway/Evolve scale. If I had been closer to London in the uk I would have considered evolve for the customer service angle but their board is lagging now and seems expensive vs the competition. Stay safe everyone & happy riding!
I own an Exway Flex. Compared to something a Backfire G3 or Zealot, the trucks and deck lead to a significantly better ride, and I can't say this enough. Not only are they bespoke parts, but the people who run Exway all ride and their designs reflect this; I expect the Atlas is no different. That said their customer service has lacked in the past. I've heard they have expanded it, but it's not clear if it's up to par yet. I will say that I'm in the middle of a warranty part claim on my Exway Flex this week and they have been responsive and helpful so far.
It is so silly exway only gave you guys the wrong version to review lol. I swear someone at exway tried to mess this launch up. The flippen motors are different ffs..... So now we will need an entirely different review video when the actual version is made. Also ya should be wearing a bit more protection in my opinion. When you take a spill you will definitely agree
@Scott, this was great... it made me confirm my buy. Waiting to receive it this weekend in Shenzhen. One question, perhaps if you get the chance to read this... what are your thoughts after using this for some time, and what advice will you give to a new skateboarder by way of maintenance
@@scottdaviesyoutube thanks and i'll surely heed to this advise. Got it in order to grow into it than buying multiple skateboards. Ping me when you're in Shenzhen next... beer is on me.
hey, been enjoying your reviews on these diff boards over the last week or so. Watched about 15 of your videos . My question is, in the 1000- 2000 US price, whats your fav setup? Id like something with good range, speed response with remote...just overall good quality. Also, would be nice to that option to swap out wheels and have the AT option. thx scott. ( ps, ive been skating my whole life, just new to electric)
Hi mate thanks for the message and support, 1) Eovan Carbon is number 1 due to: Battery. VESC & wheel options 2) TRX 2.0, is awesome value 3) BIBUFF best value Carbon with AT
What kind of trails can it handle? I'm rippin the Ecomobl ET, and my Beastboard finally arrived!!! You were right!!! About both!!! Got the higher amp version over the range oriented model and at 70-75 kilos it's an absolute MONSTER! Thanks for the recommendations Mr. Davies certainly both are more than enough to almost kill myself!! Hahaha! Gear up ladies and gentlemen because skin grafting is a bit more embarrassing than the helmet and knee&elbow pads! Ride SAFE everyone!🤙✌
A lot more power, faster top speed, costs more, but the Wowgo AT2 feels amazing with his flex deck. And I have a feeling the 14ah battery 🔋 in the AT2 might get a little more range
This board really needs a bigger battery, off road with hill climbs i cant c there being much range at all. And if people are not going to take it off road then whats the point in 4 wheel drive?
I can totally see the point, from a raw power point and hill climb is amazing especially with the 90mm wheels The AT will need to be tested I have just got the 7” so I’ll put them to the test and range ASAP
Should be 12Ah. They are using 18650 30Q in a 12s4p configuration. Those cells are rated at 3Ah each so (3Ahx4p cells) gives you 12Ah. You can also take the voltage rating of the battery which is 3.6v and multiply that by their 12s configuration to get 43.2v. 518Wh/43.2v gives you 11.99Ah
I think it definetly has a unfair advantage vs evolve gtr at hill climbing, comprimising it's range, but still would be cool to see. Maybe hill shoot out including afew other top dogs aswell like lycaon trx and tranzite ss?
I think Evolve is getting pretty mad seeing this board come out, and they’d definitely be raging if the Atlas had better motors like 63XX and a better battery pack... Evolve would have no chance 😂
Evolve don’t care lmao, they secured the service market so they’ll be fine. That and they have new boards with 6368 motors on the way this year anyway.
And those motors are tiny!!! 4230? Bigger motors usually means less stress on them and less heat. Verreal rs motors are 6368 and it’s not an advertised as an off road board.
Would be nice to see a comparison with the Eovan GTR and Lycaon TRX.
Agree.

You can adjust the amount of power going to each set of motors or just turn the front ones off
And remove the belts or it will add drag and kill the range
@@markrobbins3357 Same here, went with the Eovan
@@samsamtl7089 nice - what did you shoot for?
@@markrobbins3357 mainly the big battery and motors. It's said to have plenty of torque and range.
I’ve had a few spills I do agree, in my nest off road video I’m fully padded up,
@Scott, this was great... it made me confirm my buy. Waiting to receive it this weekend in Shenzhen. One question, perhaps if you get the chance to read this... what are your thoughts after using this for some time, and what advice will you give to a new skateboarder by way of maintenance
Mate it’s still goes like a clock, never missed a beat.
Advise: take it easy, it’s gathers speed very quickly
@@scottdaviesyoutube thanks and i'll surely heed to this advise. Got it in order to grow into it than buying multiple skateboards. Ping me when you're in Shenzhen next... beer is on me.
@@eaojnr done !! I’ll be there towards the end of the year !!
Paul here from Michigan I would like to see it make a say a 30 mi range
If you buy the 2WD it has many competitors. Boundmotor, Eovan and many others. 4WD is to me too expensive and heavy. Great video.
Hill Climb or Evolve Drag Race
Hill climb or drag race against the tranzite 4x4? 😅
Ohhhhhhh
Now that’s a competition....
hey, been enjoying your reviews on these diff boards over the last week or so.
Hi mate thanks for the message and support,
1) Eovan Carbon is number 1 due to:
Battery. VESC & wheel options
2) TRX 2.0, is awesome value
3) BIBUFF best value Carbon with AT
What kind of trails can it handle? I'm rippin the Ecomobl ET, and my Beastboard finally arrived!!! You were right!!! About both!!! Got the higher amp version over the range oriented model and at 70-75 kilos it's an absolute MONSTER! Thanks for the recommendations Mr. Davies certainly both are more than enough to almost kill myself!! Hahaha! Gear up ladies and gentlemen because skin grafting is a bit more embarrassing than the helmet and knee&elbow pads! Ride SAFE everyone!🤙✌
I like that the carbon fiber makes it on the lighter side at 25 pounds
Is it just the video or is it very quiet for a belt drive?
It’s just the video 😂 it’s not loud like the ET or M24 but it does have a nice motor sound , I wear a lapel mic so it’s not to obvious on the video,
How does this compare to the Wowgo AT2?
A lot more power, faster top speed, costs more, but the Wowgo AT2 feels amazing with his flex deck.
And I have a feeling the 14ah battery 🔋 in the AT2 might get a little more range
@@scottdaviesyoutube I'd love to see a mini comparison of sorts. I love my wowgo 3x and I can't internally justify the cost difference.
Big, thank for explication, I love this concept...
Love it man. Everything about it seems impressive. Battery as you say is definitely the biggest downfall. Those brakes look super amazing.
Deffo a comparison video with Evolve gtr.
2wd: Would guess it’d have a weaker takeoff than the GTR
4wd: Probably about 40% less range than the GTR
How does it compare to the Lycaon TRX 2.0?
Not sure yet. I’ll have a TRX 2.0 in about 3 weeks. Will be very very interesting
@@scottdaviesyoutube it's been 3 weeks :)
Lol. Still waiting for the 2.0 😢 shipping to Au has been slow for all boards
great video, very enlightening
Thanks !
It's a beast! Happy with the new esk8 developments so far!
Do you see a real need for the app??
Yes and no. It’s nice to up the power and I think the app will obviously come in to play more as we see more options for the Atlas
what happens in tank mode while standing on the board?
Nothing. Can't be used when standing on the board.
This board really needs a bigger battery, off road with hill climbs i cant c there being much range at all. And if people are not going to take it off road then whats the point in 4 wheel drive?
I can totally see the point, from a raw power point and hill climb is amazing especially with the 90mm wheels
The AT will need to be tested I have just got the 7” so I’ll put them to the test and range ASAP
@@scottdaviesyoutube look forward to it, love the review's and the atlas is one of the most interesting boards released for a while
Shame the exact battery AH capacity isn't listed on their website, just the usual WH rating...
Spot on mate, thanks
WattHr is the battery capacity. All EVs are rated this way.
@@nordic5490 Both specs are good.
Comparison with Onsra and Eovan, even 4wd mode
Onsra won’t send me any boards 😂
Remake the Evolve video with Atlas.
Lol tank mode like the rivian electric pick up
Now that’s a cool truck !!
I think it definetly has a unfair advantage vs evolve gtr at hill climbing, comprimising it's range, but still would be cool to see. Maybe hill shoot out including afew other top dogs aswell like lycaon trx and tranzite ss?
I thoad the same thing when evolve drag raced a exway flex pre production board on mid speed mode, let's just call it even.lol.
Drag race against BKB on street wheels
I think that’s going to be a must !!! Just organising a spot etc will be awesome to film
@@scottdaviesyoutube what's your prediction?
I wanna see a lacroix on a hill climb
Ok, I’ll get my hands on one !
@@scottdaviesyoutube just ordered the lonestar ss
Nice ! I’m about to pull the trigger on the new Kaly
@@scottdaviesyoutube why over the lacroix?
Battery ! And those new trucks sound amazing
Evolve will have to step up their game yet Iv'e heard nothing about any new boards coming from Evolve.
Soon I think we will see a new innovation
Ok forget the zealots and and lyacoan im getting this
I still plan to get this along with duo after I save little by little so its not such a hit.
Yap battery its too small
In street mode I think ok. But 4x4 just needs a little more
And those motors are tiny!!! 4230? Bigger motors usually means less stress on them and less heat. Verreal rs motors are 6368 and it’s not an advertised as an off road board.
@@trishaleaver3581 the motors are 5055 because Exway uses stator size instead of can, but you're right, the motors are still pretty tiny.
@@Shiittakes I’m just going off of what was said in the review
@@Shiittakes is not what Scott seen bro.
Cool
