The MOMENT Part 2 became better than Part 1. Everything from this point on in Case 3, was nothing but greatness!! This was also a major evolution for Ryonosuke as a lawyer.
it basically followed the same principal as AA3: one continous story told through multiple cases. apart from the horrible filler case of course. but TGAA2 had much higher stakes and a much more complicated story

Without the slightest exaggeration, this song and the TGAA soundtrack are carrying me through the last stages of my Masters' thesis. It's a history-based paper - so blasting this while trying to connect a series of tentatively-related primary sources makes the whole business feel a lot more impactful than it should! Update: I got a distinction for my paper in the end - the Great Ace Attorney soundtrack ensured that it was, as Sholmes might say, 'elementary'! 😃

Now imagine more overture to pursuit themes: Phoenix: the main part of his pursuit 2001 Edgeworth: a simplified mix of lying coldly and wanting to find the truth Athena: simplified techno version of pressing pursuit Apollo: (SPOILERS) simplified japanese version of overtaken. (because he is in Kura'in after Spirit of Justice)
I'm really hyped for the Apollo in Khura'in trial music. Judging by the emotion feel of the previous Objections, Apollo's theme will probably sound energetic as fuck. Objection 2007: Classic veteran Jazz Objection 2012: Moderate Orchestra Objection 2016: Orchestra on Crack
I'd say this: Phoenix: A quieter version of Questioned, still pumping you up. (C'mon, Questioned needs more respect) Mia: Objection 2004 and Turnabout Sisters' but faster and quieter (again). Miles: Just wanting to find the Truth with orchestrated sounds. Apollo: A mix of A New Trial is in Session and Overtaken quieted (again). Athena: Techno version of KEep PRessing on and Cornering Together, but it's slower. "Ryūtarō": Objection 2017 and this mashed up. Ryūnosuke: This song. Gregory: Objection 2009 with a classic feel to it. Kristoph: Darkness Theme and Guilty Love but Guilty Love is calmer and has violins, not E-Guitars "Ray": His theme but it isn't "playful". Asōgi: Samurai with a Mission. Diego: Dark Fragrance of Coffee but faster and quieter.
It’s sad that Apollo decided to stay in Khura’in because we won’t see him in another Phoenix Wright unless he comes back by then but I also can’t wait to see his journey in Khura’in.

I almost was, I was about to give up... until I noticed the direction of the blood in the picture and I switched the corrected testimony, turned out to be true..... except the contradiction wasn't for the reasons I thought LOL.
I thought it had something to do with the blood not being on the correct birdcage. And then Ryunosoke comes up with something completely different. Later I thought about my initial thought again and there was actually nothing wrong with the blood in that sense, but hey it worked.

It plays in situations similar to when in AA5/6 at the end of the case where you'd go into high concentration mode to figure out an important point, though without the minigame aspect. It then transitions into the full Pursuit theme.
wow I found my own comment 6 years later god damn I finally saw for myself what Dolasiar meant - I was hoping this would play specifically before Great Pursuit 2017 and it didn't, but the whole idea of a pre-pursuit theme was so well executed DGS/TGAA is so fucking good words just aren't enough, especially to say how grateful I am to Takumi for the localization we've had to wait 7 years for, 9 if you consider DGS1's release instead

this is genuinely a really good mood-setter for reading history. like, when you’re finishing up a biography, finally having your figure die, and the world relapse around them, and enter the legacy chapter-this song feels as if something of them is still flying its own course today.
Oh boy I can't wait for the influx of new people to finally hit this track in the english release! One of the best musical ideas the AA team has ever had.
I really love this type of OST so much. It really builds the hype for pursuit music. I hope that they will bring back this type of OST in ace attorney 7.
The MOMENT Part 2 became better than Part 1. Everything from this point on in Case 3, was nothing but greatness!! This was also a major evolution for Ryonosuke as a lawyer.
I just finished the game. This music has gotta be one of my favorite video game music ever. Holy shit is it well delivered
its localized

This theme screams "this is it, this is the moment I been waiting for. I'm so close I can taste it". The buildup when this theme play is uncanny.
When this started to play in Case 3 I knew this game would top T&T.
I felt the build up man
it basically followed the same principal as AA3: one continous story told through multiple cases. apart from the horrible filler case of course. but TGAA2 had much higher stakes and a much more complicated story
@@Lewt_2B I don't think there was a single filler case in the whole TGAAC. You would argue T&T has TWO filler cases, but I loved both as they were great.
@@dukemon6163 TGAA 1-4 and 2-2 definitely felt like filler to me and out of place compared to the rest of the cases that were linked to state secrets, the reaper and the professor. TGAA1 as a whole was a letdown to me because it felt like a setup to the 2nd game without really resolving its own story
@@Lewt_2B The whole Natsume arc ended up being really relevant because it allowed them to find.
SPOILERS
The Baskerville's Collar, which was the first clue to reveal the involvement of the Professor's case. Also Natsume himself who's returned in Japan due to what happened in those cases, reappears in TGAA2-1 which is a really relevant case.
this is one of my favourite compositions in the ost
ace attorney games have desperately needed music for the "breaking point" - where you know something major is about to be revealed and you're bracing yourself for it
it's so great
I've never felt more hype to press the "R" key
Hearing this in case 5 was the hypest shit ever. Nonstop goosebumps.

literally a pre-pursuit song. genius
I love this track, only when it was first played I was stuck with that damn picture, my emotional state was a blend of super hyped, stressed, excited, happy, confused and utterly frustrated
Man the composer deserves a promotion for having the idea of a prelude theme to the pursuit theme.
I can't be the only one who hear bits of Phoenix's and Apollo's Objection themes mixed with this, right?
I'm not entirely sure but I'd love to hear more on your perspective.
@@realimereads2707 Im not sure I really here to much of Apollo's theme but I can hear little bits of Phoenix's Objection Theme
I do kinda hear some familiar track but I don't know
we need more omens and trial in disarray themes. an overture thats like the pursuit but its not, its just anticipating it, like telling you your on the right track
When the normal pursuit just isn't pursuity enough
When Your Close to The Ending:
Getting to Pursuit!
When Your At the Ending:
Pursuit!
You ready for a rollercoaster called THE TRUTH?!!!
This song right here is the reason why the DGS series is the best, better than the main AA series. No offense to those who like the main AA series more.
bruh it' s even better than the main pursuit theme
@@DraceEmpressa Haha no
Without the slightest exaggeration, this song and the TGAA soundtrack are carrying me through the last stages of my Masters' thesis.
Sending you lots of positive vibes then !! Best of lucks for your work !! :D
@@lulumimina Thanks so much!!! In the end, I submitted it online to the dulcet tones of 'Partners - The Game's Afoot!' a few days ago. I didn't know satisfaction until that day 😂 All the very best to you and yours! 😊
@@fredofasgarnia oooooh this is so great !!! 🥺 i’m very proud of you then ! 😁
Now imagine more overture to pursuit themes:
Phoenix: the main part of his pursuit 2001
Edgeworth: a simplified mix of lying coldly and wanting to find the truth
Athena: simplified techno version of pressing pursuit
Apollo: (SPOILERS) simplified japanese version of overtaken. (because he is in Kura'in after Spirit of Justice)
I'm really hyped for the Apollo in Khura'in trial music. Judging by the emotion feel of the previous Objections, Apollo's theme will probably sound energetic as fuck.
Objection 2007: Classic veteran Jazz
Objection 2012: Moderate Orchestra
Objection 2016: Orchestra on Crack
I'd say this:
Phoenix: A quieter version of Questioned, still pumping you up. (C'mon, Questioned needs more respect)
Mia: Objection 2004 and Turnabout Sisters' but faster and quieter (again).
Kristoph: Darkness Theme and Guilty Love but Guilty Love is calmer and has violins, not E-Guitars
"Ray": His theme but it isn't "playful".
Asōgi: Samurai with a Mission.
Diego: Dark Fragrance of Coffee but faster and quieter.
For edgeworth we have confrontation presto though and in essence it is like overture to pursuit
It’s sad that Apollo decided to stay in Khura’in because we won’t see him in another Phoenix Wright unless he comes back by then but I also can’t wait to see his journey in Khura’in.
I just imagine Van Zeiks's as the main organ part of tell the truth 2015 with added instrumentals.
Is this the music when shit is about to go down.
Yes
I never realized how much space Rei took in the cover, she's only in *one* case
And the reason for that is... The artist just really liked her character. That's all
@@HyLion Yeah, I liked her too ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@rbxless well, TBH that's a good reason from the artist.
this is so good
I just finished case 5. This music single-handedly cleared my mind and got my pulse poinding
I love how this track has some Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney tunes but made it slightly more..I can’t explain it but it has its unique twist.
This should absolutely be the series standard going forward - pursuit preludes!
I just beat the 3rd case in the second game. waiting for the new release this year coming in the US. So excited to play the whole series once more
Overture to Pursuit ~ Overused "localize the game" joke
There is fan translation for entire game - the first one.
It won't be overused until the game is localized.
@@theyneverlearn3679 Boy do I have news for you.....

Well, wouldn't you know it,...
I admit I like this track way more than the actual Pursuit theme. The latter really feels more like a continuation version of this one and reminds me of alternative Cornered theme from the first game which got also some tweaks.
I have a save file for the exact line before this plays in Case 3
So I can just launch the save, then press A and then enjoy

When you know you're about to get dunked on by the Defence.
When does this play in the game? Like, does it play when it's the last cross-examination and you're close to winning or what
It doesn't play during the final cross-examinations the way Presto did in Investigations. It plays in situations similar to when in AA5/6 at the end of the case where you'd go into high concentration mode to figure out an important point, though without the minigame aspect. It then transitions into the full Pursuit theme.
It plays right before you discover the real killer of case 3
