I am currently 17 yrs old, Im graduating high school with a 4.3 GPA, also graduating with my associates degree, and going to university to become a nurse midwife and this has been my dream car for 3 years now. Also I've always been back and forth about what color corvette I'd get in the future, whether white, red, or yellow.(This was a completely unnecessary comment but I wanted to express myself)
Piece of advice. You really want that car go to Florida and become an hvac installer make 120 k a year waste no time of your precious life pay cash for that car in no time at all. Or you can go the route you said go to university 5 years pay your student loans in another 5 and start saving for your dream car. By the time you have the money all the corvettes will be dogshit electric cars.
Unsolicited advice from a 42 year old who's building his C8 now. As long as you get yourself a decent job with vertical mobility, this is a very achievable dream. Don't have children until you're stable and ready (or don't have kids at all), and you're golden. Nobody's going to care about your GPA once you get your first job. They're going to care about your energy level and attitude when they interact with you, and they're going to care what you have experience doing. Best of luck, presumably now 18 year old young man.
You do know every one knows that already right? When we or anyone else says “lambo doors” in reference to aftermarket, we are speaking about the motion. The vertical aspect. Putting vertical doors on a corvette doesn’t change the fact it’s still a corvette door.
I’m sorry, I thought they were called butterfly doors. “Lambo” doors go straight up and down. I guess different people call them different things. That being said, I still like it. I would definitely do this.
I don't like those. They don't look Factory. Because they're two motion doors. They need to be one fluid solid motion. One motion vertical door. Word opens out and up and one solid motion like curving out and then up. 2 motion looks fake. They need to be one solid motion
Shocks are not fully covered by warranty as they are has schools and will inevitably need replacement. However, as part of your warranty, you get them at cost vs retail so they are pretty cheap. And your not going to have to worry about them for 10 to 15 years

They're not truly Lamborghini doors if you have to push it out then lift up real Lamborghini doors lift straight up
