Wheeling & Lake Erie Carey, Ohio

On June 11, 2024 we visit the rock quarry and W&LE yards at Carey, Ohio to capture some yard and quarry movements. Several scenes were taken including a switcher. We couldn't capture the center cab on this day but we had plenty of action. Also a scene of the W&LE pulling near the CSX at C Cabin. We missed the CSX rock train leaving while filming in the quarry. When I caught W&LE 430 at Nevada, I was going home, and I stopped south of Crawford and saw that same CSX L346 (the Carey Rock runner) that you saw switching there and I went to Carey afterwards and saw that W&LE train pulling out onto the CSX line. I didn't see you though.

Yes I was shooting him pulling onto the CSX line too. Glad to get that shot. I sure do miss the old C&O cantilevers in the section. I think there were five of them in that short stretch.
