The differences are idols have to do a lot of tasks such as dancing while singing, rapping also,... while singers have one mission is to sing. They surely do but they won't show it of course. Idols in general have limited interactions now and the restriction is higher in YG since SK hates most of it's artists and will make anything a scandal.

i like this. It feels like Hi is more comfortable in the company now, because she's smiling and acting, I think she is way more comfortable with people her on age, rather than when she was alone when she debuted. Very catchy song.
i remember before in her interview that she prefer having a group or performing with someone because performing solo is kind of lonely that's why she doesn't show emotions that much unlike now

That's just how Inkigayo works which makes the performances somewhat boring. I think they focus more on the "visual aspect" of the performance by putting amazing stages but utterly fail on the camera work. While here on M Countdown, they put minimal stuff on stage and do not totally filter the audience's cheers.
