- The world leading steam train heritage line from Thirlmere to Buxton south of Sydney Australia is about to become quite a bit longer thanks to a funding grant from the NSW State Government.
The backing music is shocking it drown out nearly all the speeches
Totally unnecessary
I'm fine with music being there but it's so loud that you can barely hear the voices
100%. I could barely hear anything he said at first. Given the subject music wasn’t needed at all.
Kill the background music PLEASE !
So many heritage railway heritage vids are drowned out by raucous irritating back ground music SHAME !
Even funnier there used to be a railway station at Balmoral in Victoria

Can't understand why it's only going as far as Colo Vale when it should be going back to Mittagong then it could be used as a diversionary line if one line between Picton and Mittagong was out of action. By using the heaviest gauge rail with steel sleepers and deep ballast it could take the heaviest trains. Yes the bridge at Braemar has collapsed so why not rebuild it. If they're throwing millions of $ why not go the whole hog and do it right from Picton to Mittagong.
I think the last part goes through private property.

The music was unnecessary. It made it difficult to hear what was being said; it was intrusive, and took away from the message you were trying to convey.
I thought i would add a comment that the music didn't bother me one bit.. great little video, I just hope they open the last small stretch to Mittagong one day
I’m glad you liked the video Buffalo Bob. Yes getting all the way to Mittagong would be great. Some don’t like a music track but I hope they will appreciate the video is edited on a fairly rudimentary app.
@@TheDjcommunication Also i took a ride up from Spring Farm today and took a few pics at Buxton station and the site of former Balmoral station then headed back home,,,
