Best settings for M1 Pro: everything set to epic except AA set to low and shadows set to high. MetalFX enable set to high performance. FPS cap set to 30 or 60
I did the entire demo (took me roughly 2h, at slow pace). The M2 MacBook Air, at the recommended settings (see the end of the video), got warm but definitely never hot. This is actually a well-optimized game for Apple Silicon.
I don't know about this actually. On my side I play it (and recorded it) using the Steam version. Very good performance overall, and the MacBook is just warm (not hot). If you have any issue you can get a refund and grab it from another platform too.
I bought it on Steam. Same price as in the App Store, but you get access to the Mac+PC Version. Runs nice on my Macbook Air M3, but graphics quality could be better. On my PC with RTX 4090, it's an absolute dream, and I can also play it in VR (Meta Quest Pro) which is stunning.
@@valuemastery are you using supersampling? Once I enabled Metal FX sampling with ultra performance, i was able to run the game graphically on a mix of high and epic
@@valuemastery bro no shit. That gpu alone costs $500 more than your macbook and draws literally almost 10 times as much energy during use. Man these comparison are always so laughable to me. Imagine if I went to see a Honda Civic review and said "Yeah that's a nice car, but it's not as fast as my Pagani Utopia"
