Amazing guitar, Megan and the playing is golden (as always).
Question: How are new(er) 12's these days for staying in tune? Had a very old Epiphone 12 that was all but useless at staying in tune.

That's a nice guitar, but no way is it worth €4500 imo. I have a Yamaha APX-700 12 string (electro acoustic) that I bought for just over 10% of the price and I'd say it's close enough. You also mentioned the jumbo body style; personally I dislike the jumbo and dreadnought body styles.. they're awkward to hold, harder to play.. no fun basically.. their main advantage is resonance and projection. If you're trying to show off their benefits, then don't plug them into an amp.

Hey! This is an 800 series Taylor so the £4500 is reflective of the high spec Taylor series it’s from. I’d highly recommend playing this model if you can - it might seem pricey until you feel and hear how well this plays.
Of course, body style is completely personal. I like a jumbo on a 12 string - some people won’t. That’s okay!
Last point for clarity on audio: I always mic up the acoustic guitars for my video. This is mic’d up with a Shure SM57. There is also a line out that I’ve taken which is lower in the mix and is not going into an amp at all. Hope that clears a few things up 🙏

How is the Yammy for staying in tune? I had an old 1970(?) Epiphone 12 that lasted for about three strums before I had to tune again LoL
