Seeing people hate on Danzo proves how stupid they are. First of all, we as spectators know about all things happening simultaneously, which proves why Danzo is so well written as a character. He has to rely on info he has. We knew Shisui was on leafs side but for him trusting shisui could potentially cost way more than its worth. I don't defend his actions and wrongdoings, he was aware of them too, for him it was necessary sacrifice for the good of the leaf. He saw the village as an organization rather as separate individuals which is the whole point of the village. He is a realpolitik incarnated. Don't think that way of thinking doesn't exist in real world, in fact, people whose modus operandi were like Danzos are regarded as excellent statesmans. Danzo was so well written, we saw his weaknesses, his fear of dying, which is normal for any of us, he had his insecurities weather they were justified or not, as l said, we had infos he didn't and he had to proceed accordingly. All in all, l firmly believe Danzo really loved his village.
Danzo is a realistic character compare to those who suddenly gets stronger from all the friendship bullsit

I think she understood, but everyone is entitled to a perspective and opinion. Just like how Danzo sees the ninja world differently than, say, Naruto, she sees Danzo a particular way based on the evidence displayed. It's what makes reactions different and interesting.

These same people who cry about obito are the same people who laugh at Danzo when the things obito did were far worse
Danzo is the reason why everyone calls Sarutobi a great Hokage because no matter what you may believe if Danzo was not around Saritobi would have had to do some of the things he did
well let's look at what those characters did positive:
Obito:
1) wanted to sacrifice himself and do the Rinne Tensei during the war, to revive all those whom he killed after the start of the war
2) helped naruto to get sasuke back from the desert dimension, protected those from the Kaguya's ash bones. Literally, saved the day and saved the world
Danzo:
1) Tried to defeat Masked man, but failed. Even with 10 stolen sharingans + Hashirama cells. And we won't count that he was the one who spoiled Shisui's plan to use Kotoamatsukami on Itachi's Father, to stop the coup. So, Danzo is the first guilty person in Uchiha massacre. We won't count it, because Obito did a lot of bad things too.
2) Allegedly did some good things for the Leaf, which were not shown. Also, wanted to get control of Kurama, for the sake of the village, of course.
If we sum it up, Obito's positives are way better and important for the whole world than Danzo's. So... If Sarutobi had to deal with those problems, which were health by Danzo, maybe he would have solved them in a better way. Instead of being a cold hearted killer, excusing it with the security and future of the village.
@@randy89555and sarutobi will never reach same peace with his methods. Uchicha clan would attack whole village and possibly slaughter everyone if sarutobi only Handle it by himself. His method is cold but more effective for long term.
It is said that in our final moments, we show who we trully are, and Danzo died a hero sacrificing his life for the village, at least in his eyes.
It seems like people don't understand that, some people have to do the dirty work behind the scenes in order for peace to remain. Hiruzen was the light and Danzo was the dark. Everyone thinks , danzo is a shit character, put he portrays Tobirama's ideals, when it comes to putting the village first. His crimes shouldn't be condemed, but you should have a open mind of what danzo was aiming to do, not everyone is perfect, and that's why danzo yearns for Hiruzen's approval.

i think masashi kishimoto failed to make danzo as a hero, everyone is care about sasuke in that episode :v
not that he tried to anyway. what kishi aim for is for reader/audience to understand the character. stuff like where they come from, what happened to them, what they turned into, what they were trying to do and their line of thought
