I kinda forgot the suicide squad thing existed. Modern Comic book shit has been completely lost on me for a long while, don't get me started on marvel, so I didn't have any expectations or hopes for it. It does sound like a huge mess from what you described of it, which doesn't totally surprise me. Giving what is the modern suicide squad an isekai story sounds super gimmicky and generic to me, and the whole isekai meme trend these days seems like one of those things that keeps making money for whatever reason. Based on what you said about the joker movie, It kinda sounds like this mix of Freddy got fingered and From what I know about it using flashbacks to the original, Silent Night deadly night part 2. Albeit that's probably giving it too much credit than it deserves. Lady gaga as harley is a WTF decision, but I don't think she'd be as annoying about it as what I've seen of margot robbie's portrayal(main reason of many why I don't bother with Modern DC stuff). You saying how some videos never turning out how you'd think they are, is an Issue/roadblock I've had, cause of the few videos I've personally done, I don't really like how they turned out, but just went with them because it's that or nothing. Interested to see what you're cooking up, Your spiderman show video is Great I think, esp regarding bakshi's part of the show since most people ignore that.
I don't blame you for avoiding modern DC titles, or Marvel for that matter. Both franchises have been making a lot of the same repeated mistakes. Suicide Squad Isekai is a perfectly good example of that. I can't tell if I'm just getting old and bitter or if the show really is that generic. The Joker sequel definitely reminded me a lot of Silent Night Deadly Night part 2, but with a larger budget obviously. As messed up as the casting of Lady Gaga is, I still think she's better than Margot Robbie's party girl interpretation (she nearly ruined the character for me.) I understand what you mean about making videos also. I just have that weird habit of letting perfectionism get in the way and it can sometimes slow down the progress of videos, but I'll try to work on that. My own reasons for marvel run a bit deeper than most I think, usually with how it’s handled, but I think both have been stripping away what made them appealing in the first place, marvel more so than DC imo. Hey I’m just glad you’re still around doing stuff. I’m kinda amazed at how long I’ve been followed your stuff for as much as I have as well.
