Alright, well this video took a hot minute and a half to make, this was originally supposed to only be around 6 or so minutes long but I'm me so I obviously got carried away again. This was the first time I've ever actually planned any of the visual bits while writing the script for the video, and I think it paid off pretty well, will probably try to do that more in the future when I can. I wanted to upload this relatively soon post-Infinite Warfare because I was seeing a big sub boom, but making the video good was more important to me than getting it out quickly. Also, speaking of that, hello to everyone who subbed recently! Glad you like my reviews, it's super validating given that I spend 80-100 hours on each of them.
I'm delirious so this "wrap up" comment isn't as concise or like... not-rambly as they have been lately, but I can't be fucked to re-read this right now and try to organize my thoughts effectively.

...and yes, Sean Murray has talked about maybe adding cities to the game in the future despite answering my simple "Will it have cities?" question from the Gameinformer podcast Q&A with a surprisingly verbose answer that was basically a "No" for aesthetic reasons as they wanted to evoke an unexplored frontier rather than some established urban civilisation (so, Tatooine rather than Coruscant), which I purposefully asked to check the wild expectations of its rabid subreddit many of whom seemed convinced that it would effectively be _GTA Online in Space_ when it seems more likely that is the much more expensive multi-studio project _Star Citizen_
So, Hello Games did communicate both their planned silence after its release (which so many people were perplexed about) and their commitment to both fix bugs and enhance the game with future free DLC. They even provided a way to email them with suggestions of how to improve the game, which must have elicited a few people saying....

I've got a mindblowing idea for No Man's Sky that will totally transform it: why don't you give us all the stuff that was in the early trailers and everything you spoke about in interviews as I want to land on an asteriod and run around it like I'm playing **_Super Mario Galaxy_*
