When I went to Europe I saw open sewage canals, glad I don't live there. Besides this is just new york. This isn't the rest of the country. One of the places I went to was Amsterdam and while I admire it, they're buildings are cramped and shaped like needles, their food tastes like garbage, their TV sucks and is in a language I can't understand. It's also really wet and cold and the people even though they were polite were also pretty cold and reserved. I'm also grateful to live in a region of the world where I'll never have to worry about some buddy else's military invading us. Nowhere in America close to how good we have it, we have every single thing you could possibly ever want just by hitting the click of a button. Good day.

LOL I came to read the comments! I drive this round trip 2-4 times a week, and sometimes even 2 round trips a day 😂💀 To all those who have never driven in the New York Metro Area, if you think this is bad driving, please stay off our roads 😂 You guys are the reason we have massive traffic jams! I've been driving this route for the last 8 years, if you don't jump in keep it moving, you will never get anywhere on these highways. As you can see, everyone is paying attention to everyone else on the road and there are no close calls, this is just how driving works here. You will not hear NY, NJ, or CT drivers crying in the comments because we know how to drive on our own roads. Oh yeah, I almost forgot... please stay off the Manhattan streets if you think this is bad, you will not make it down one block before getting T-Boned, rear ended, or side swiped with that attitude 😂

I’ve seen worse in countries like Belgium and Italy. Being Dutch the quality of these roads seems appalling, but for a city this size I’m actually positively surprised. You can’t easily close down roads for maintenance in such busy places, especially not when half the city already is in a constant grid lock.
@@zarakdurrani7584 That’s the metro area, not the city itself. New York City has a population of 8 million and a density of almost 30.000 per square mile. That’s a density five times higher than the densest city in the Netherlands (The Hague, 6000/sq mile). And Dutch cities rely much less on car infrastructure.

(a) A vehicle shall be driven as nearly as practicable entirely within a single lane and shall not be moved from such lane until the driver has first ascertained that such movement can be made with safety. What this means is that you should not change lanes in two directions at once. And thank you. I will report this video to the NYPD and send you a $500 ticket. Have a nice day.
Yeah it s in legal in any state to change lanes as long as you have your signal on, however cutting across lanes of traffic especially as other people are trying to get in the lane is questionable and can be considered aggressive lane changing signal or not. I see a lot of this going on in this video.
