Thank you very much for this nice video and updates in Kyoto. I really appreciate your hard work. Hope November will be beautiful as well. Keep up the good work.
Very helpful information that isn't easy to find. Would you have some info to share regarding the Gion festival? We are visiting in July but not sure where and what time to watch the parades. Thanks
Thank you for the comment💪 Gion Festival wi be held between 7/1-7/31. And the main parade will be held in 7/17 starting at 9:00 AM around Shijo Street. You need to stay in Gion area, because it’s a little early start🌸
I plan to go to Kyoto for 4days after Tokyo on Dec27th. Is it true there is a Shinkansen package to Kyoto that is inclusive of hotel stay? Is it only for Japanese or can tourist buy this package?
Thanks for the information. I have booked hotel for 2 person in Kyoto for 7 days. I will go with wife and my children (ages 5 and 2), will accomodation tax be imposed to my kids?
Thank yo Igor the comment. About your question, according to the website, you have to pay accommodation tax including your kids… The detail is below↓ www.city.kyoto.lg.jp/gyozai/page/0000249213.html
Thank you for some very interesting information ! I have a question about the Kamogawa odori. I wanted to book tickets but can only see the most expensive tickets online. Do you know how to buy the 4000 yen tickets, or 1200 yen tea tickets?
Thank you for the comment… And I’m also searching online and this year you can only buy expensive tickets… Normal seat(¥4,000) and tea tickets are available only on the day at actual place… If you have the friend who lives in Japan, they can buy normal ticket from here. www.jplaza.co.jp/resv2/odori_jtb/kamogawa_odori It’s a little confusing process…
@@fromjapan4789 can you define not hot/cold? Do we need to bring coat or light layers of sweater/hoodie? What about umbrella? Thank you! Looking forward to see kyoto.
Hello, I was wanting to book a table for the Nouryou-yuka at one of the restaurants, but I can't call Japanese phone numbers. Is there another way to make a reservation? Thank you.
Thank you for the comment! How is this link below? restaurant.ikyu.com/rsSpcl/sp/kawayuka/start.htm It’s Japanese restaurant reservation site. And I think you don’t need phone call through this site. Feel free to feed back me!

Kyoto Local-san, you called them "Geisha." Aren't they called "Geiko" in Kyoto? 🇺🇸🤝🇯🇵🤔
Thank you for the comment.
Uhmm my grand parents generation calls Geino ad geisha, but our generation(20s or 30s) call geisha!
And you are who??? To know more than a Japanese guy???
