I had issues with the pump dispenser too, I ended up fitting a pop-top lid to my bottle instead. A nice product that really does deepen the finish of the rubber.
Also had the same issue with the pump, lesson learnt to now cut the tube first otherwise it gets very messy. Oddly enough I haven't had this problem with any other CarPro products, so I feel like the pump wasn't designed for this bottle. I also had to wipe off the excess coating after it dried overnight, otherwise it would sling a bit on the side of the car after driving. Did you run into this issue at all?
Yeah lesson learnt for both of us haha and I think you might be right as I've never had an issue with any carpro trigger before. I haven't had any sling but I did double check the car first before it drove off
I hope you enjoyed this one guys, I'm trying to move away from doing so many sealant videos in a row and mix it up a bit
Always good to mix it up a little
I've been loving the videos on this beast 👌
It was a say day when it got picked back up as I loved having it in my garage haha
its been a few weeks now and I haven't cleaned the tyres. happy to say its still looking sattin black and the dressing still lasting.
Thanks John, glad to hear it's still going strong and once again thanks for letting me detail your Evo 💛

Yeah I ended up shortening it and now it's all good luckily
same issue, terrible bottle, but product is super!
I think you're right with a higher sidewall can handle more gloss and a Matt for short sidewall
Haha so not just me then
Perfect finish. I reckon it has that same “middle of the road” look like Bowden’s Sweet Rubber.
I definitely need to pick up some sweet rubber soon as I've heard lots of good things about it too
Very keen for the test you do with this against some other dressings
Thanks mate same here
Keen to grab some in the future 👍😎
I think you'll be impressed
Love the look, great video. I wonder if it can be used on black exterior plastic trim like you get on Mazdas?
You possibly could but better off using their DLUX coating as a more permanent alternative

Thanks for the video. Sick car. Darkside looks the business. Been using gyeon tire express which is decent but doesn’t last.
Yeah darkside seems to have a bit more life in it but not as long as I've seen suggested
hey mate, what garage flooring is that? does the water dry out of it ok?
Hey mate they're racedeck tiles and yes the water stays under them and drains out so you never walk in a puddle
You want a better dressing check out TAC system tire dressing or tac system tire coating. Both kill carpro darkside.
I'll have to check them out
Great video, it's gorgeous, can't wait to see longevity, but also how tough is it to re-apply when the time comes?
Thanks Claudia, I'll try and get to a longevity test against 3 other dressings in the next few weeks
@@EvolvedDetails thanks heaps, I really appreciate your efforts 👌👌👌😊😊😊
Great video mate 👍
Thanks mate
cut the applicator in half for low profile tyres
Now that's thinking right there... great idea I'd never thought to do that
How is it on seals?
I haven't tried it so can't say sorry
👊
Thanks mate
