Let me know how you like it, pro tip you could use perl still as a topper as Darkside will lose it's darkening after a few weeks but is still there and beading well
Good video. Thank you. 👍😁 Was beneficial to show the next day footage as the products had time to set to the rubber and give a better indication of the "look" of it over time. Be good to see these after a week or 3. Thanks again 👍
Yeah I've been testing on my daily driver too before starting this test and I've found it definitely lasts but loses it's blackness after a few weeks but is still hydrophobic so a quick top up with carpro perl keeps it looking good
Mate great video as always. Thanks for opening my eyes to some of these great aussie companies ( Just placed my first order with Mirch). Like you, I thought Mirch was facebook click bait lol. If you are interested, there is another aussie company called Envoke that I would love to see in your tests.
Some of the products from those Australian companies (Mirch, Envoke, Bowdens, Platinum, ...). Sadly none of them are available in my area (or EU). Maybe in the future. Do you know which of those australian brands produce and develop their own products by themselfes (and dont just buy and label like many others) and manufacture in australia? Thank you for making all those videos on this channel, I like watching them.
I'm reasonably certain Bowden's Own is wholly developed and produced in Australia. There is a ? for Mirch, Platinum Potions however. Envoke? I have zero experience or knowledge of that product.
I'm not sure of Envoke, I know Bowden's and Platinum Potions are 100% made in Australia. Mirch claims to be but I can't confirm as some people have made claims they are not
I found Darkside so underwhelming. Prepped my tyres with Retyre, threw on Darkside, drove it a week later, washed it and then Darkside went all patchy and gross - really not a fan of it, not sure if I got a dud bottle or something. Perl, VRP & Sweet Rubber lasted way longer for me
I think between you and Sandro, you've sold me on Darkside. Used Perl for years but that's exactly what I'm after. Thanks so much for the video mate!

Well presented. Love the fact you show a real-life user experience.
I have been using PERL for a few years but the other 3 are a tempting switch.
Thanks mate, I think darkside as a base layer and once it fades off a little topping with perl is a winning combo
Good video. Thank you. 👍😁

Thanks Ian
mate had Darkside on my every day driver 5 weeks still going strong this test will be good to see as always

Thanks mate much appreciated. I'll have to check them out
Great video mate
Thanks 👍
Looking forward to the updates after general driving
Thanks mate
I've found the Gyeon to be a really nice tyre dressing but looses it gloss quite quickly but stays on for a good period of time.
I'm finding the same in my results
Good video mate. Keep it up up. Thx
Thanks mate

Carpro and gyeon were far shinier than I expected
Yeah I prefer the more natural look
I think mirch or platinum potions would be much choice as the others look too car dealership shiny to me
Yeah I can definitely see that

Perl, VRP & Sweet Rubber lasted way longer for me
I've found it lasts long as a protestant but loses its blackness pretty quick
the gyeon Q2 gel is even better
Totally agree! I use Tire Express to top up the SiO2 version after maintenance washes
I'll have to try it out in the future
Carpro will last longest I bet
I think so too
I don’t like artificial gloss on tyres, looks so fake, know what I mean? So Car Pro Darkside 👎🏻
Yeah I can understand that and once comparing I realised it was a little glossy so I don't use it as much now
