That’s one chonky camera. The Attenborough-esque camerawork looks great in 4K! 😜 As for munching on an apple in monkey territory - nice, gets the adrenalin pumping.
Hi Wonderlust< My friends and I we really love going hiking around Macritchie the only problems is that a lot of wild monkey. Just need to be careful never go near them.
A lovely walk. So much nature to see. I would love to walk the tree too walk. You are so lucky living in Singapore. Am looking forward your next travels.
Nice trail….tower and bridges seem proper highlights. Although as an aside cities in the UK arent tied to cathedrals- it one way to have got the status but not the only way. I live in Cambridge and we are a city but no cathedral.
Nice video😊 I tried before last year walking on the green corridor trail for 22km route Starting point was at kranji of the green corridor trail and end up at the last point which is tanjong pagar. I took about 4 hours plus time to walk the whole route of the green corridor. It was an awesome challenge for me. Ended up I got sunburnt and my legs went wobbly hahaha. But it was fun because I did it alone. Prolly u can try it next round as a challenge. 💪
Singapore is a very safe place and it’s a route I already know. I also knew they’d be other people along the walk as it’s a very popular one. I’d also recommend going with people if you’ve not done it before or aren’t used to walking trails like that.
Added to our list for when we arrive in Singapore in August. Loving the videos and the channel - you've given so many ideas for our upcoming months stay!

Ha thanks. This was the spot with the least monkeys so I took a quick snack! Any later and I think they would have taken it for sure.
Oh those butterflies were stunning….ooh proper lizardness too
The bright colours of the butterflies are some I’ve never seen before.
woa that monitor was a big fella!
He was indeed but they can move pretty fast!
I’ll never get tired of Monitors. That majestic gait!
Yeah, supermodel walks 😝
The monkeys really worry me, since one grabbed my bag, bright orange, on Pulau Ubin, on our last trip. Fabulous walk, thank you Millie.
Yes, the Ubin monkeys are very bold!
Welcome to Singapore, a great review.
Thank you!
So jumpy but I’d be too about the monkeys 🙈. Lovely adventure 🦋💜
They know humans have snacks, not dissimilar to Milo and Aspen haha
What a beautiful scenery my friend! Simply stunning upload 👏👏
Thanks!

Yes indeed, need to be aware around you. I know several people who walk with a stick or walking poles to deter the monkeys. 🙈
Thx you lovely watch you going thru e whole journey.
Glad you enjoyed this one.
Back in the day before the tree top walk, we used to do Macritchie to Bukit timah through Rifle range, quite a hike on its own.
Riffle Range is a lovely walk. Where else do you enjoy walking?
Thanks for being us the walk... Yes, you seems very nervous on this video...
Unpredictable monkeys! 🙈
there is a trail from macritchie to upper pierce reservoir now, they only recently opened this path
Oh I didn’t know, great tip!
It’s one of the best hiking trails
Yes! What’s your favourite part of it?
Everything

Oh thanks for sharing, I’ve done sections of the green corridor but not that far.
❤❤❤
Thanks
That looks like a White-bellied Rat Snake, they flee quite quickly when they sense danger, it is not venomous.
Phew! Good to know
If you are interested in nightwalks, maybe you can try contacting MJ bio girl from just keep thinking. I am sure she has contacts. 😊
Thanks for the idea. I’ll look her up.
Personally I will not recommend ladies to go by herself but at least to have a friend with you for personal safely sake.

I hope you enjoy exploring them for yourself! Do let us know once you’ve done them. We’d love to know what you think.
@@WONDERLUSTworld Of course cause I am also a Singaporean. But lets also remember that "Low crime does not mean no crime"
