- Total War Warhammer is a perfect mix of RTS (Real Time Strategy) and Turn Based Strategy game featuring fantasy elements from the warhammer universe. Nothing quite manages to capture the amazingness of hordes of skeletons waging war against the empire of man. WE will of course be asking today is total war warhmmer a perfectly balanced RTS game with no exploits? Well excluding the fact you can have an unlimited amount of heroes in an army. That might be a bit overpowered. It most certainly might break the game. As you can guess this game is very broken and some would argue we are going to be breaking it even more.
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.

@@Randerson2409 Technically it is, since the void doesnt exist there, same as the armies that spawn. If from warp, it'd have a reason why say like, one moment you have an enemy army, next iys three. Like, i dunno, sacrifice your kid and suddenly you have many soldier or something

If you know the stats for a Vamp Count Lord/Hero....they would definitely shit themselves as a human. Str4-5 pending on bloodline vs human 3. Initiative 3-5. Vs a human 2-3 (4 for heros) and the fact a VC lord/hero is usually above or at 4 and necros are at 3. You would definitely shit yourself on the frontline.

Vampires are easily my favorite faction in this game sereis, but man, the rework of the Von Carsteins in WH3 nerfed them so hard. No second Legendary Lord on turn 2. Whether you pick Vlad or Isabella, the other spawns as a Legendary Hero instead of a Lord. They do still have some of their cool abilities, like buffing both of them if they're in the same army, but that early game powerhouse isn't nearly as good anymore.

Lowering the unit count would definitely make VC's easier since it doesn't affect the heroes themselves. Still, VC's are definitely fun factions to play because of their early game potential. Late game can be rough, however, especially against Dwarves, and vamp power trails off when better units overall are being placed on the field. At that point they require some finesse, clever use of tactics (basically flank all day) and focus on buffing your units, and debuffing the enemy, when needed, because most VC units just can't stand being placed in prolonged melee against harder opponents.

Forgot to mention that spell damage don't scale with unit size, so spells are super OP when the unit size is set to small.
P.S it's balanced for large and will be underpowered with huge armies.
At least in Warhammer 2 though, small unit size does make heroes worse actually, because it just decreases their health, but because of the way being in melee combat works, it doesn't decrease the damage they're taking. Like, it doesn't matter if they're attacking 30 soldiers or 100, only like, 5 will be able to surround and attack at a time. So the 5 soldiers are there attacking, they're going to die much faster when their health is lower.
As always Spiff, you rock. I actually just got a great deal on WH from Epic, a whopping ZERO dollars (: Can't beat that.
So I will be enjoying it a bit later.

But with forces of corruption that’s way too easy. If you corrupt everything you’re obscenely rich and your enemies are weakened.
The vanilla is way too easy to cheese. Kill the fleet, park one infantry unit on the orbit->the AI can't build a space station anymore. Rinse and repeat until you control the orbit of every planet, then you can no longer lose and can just throw stacks of ground units into auto resolve to skip the Godawful ground battles

@@rultkiraly43 Well it also makes heroes much stronger, heroes hit models, the issue with heroes is that they can only hit 1 entity at once, usually doing a lot of overkill with larger unit sizes
It's on small so there hero's do stuff and spells whip out units
You can also unlock a tech that makes all skeleton upkeep go down to 0 and have infinite armies with 19 troops only paying for the lord

@@martinhriibek3443 Doesn't work against the super hordes that have way too much anti-large, and spam Chosen like they're zombies.
@@lich109 Yes it does - they dont have ranged units, only the big hell cannons. You just fly, charge into the cannon, then run and fly again. Repeat until you kill all cannons and hero. After that you charge your army into theirs and they run in matter of several seconds.
@@martinhriibek3443 The super hordes are the ones reinforcing each other, if you hide your units while you deal with the cannons they stay back and protect them, if you show your forces then they'll engage them while you deal with the cannons. Either way you need more than Terrorgheists because they cannot handle Chosen spam.
If you somehow do TW 2, do it on SFO where you have more than 6 units at the start as a capital's garrison.

It is really odd that they haven't fixed that. I kind of see it as a bug. It makes magic weak on big sizes and overly strong on small. Just properly balance it.
It also makes every single model unit supremely powerful.

Well that's how vampire counts worked on table top , witch is a very cool concept for a army. Your army was weak and expendable and the majority of your killing power came from your heroes/lords

I realize this comment is a bit late, but... you can actually get even MORE heroes attached to the Lady Von Carstein. I've had an army with 14 heroes all led by her... not all vampires, but pretty much every hero you can get... and her bonus applies to all of them. I got to the point where I didn't even bother to add flying units to her 14 hero army, and just steamrolled everything with just that single army. Broken as hell.
